Sky Broadband Technicolor + TP-Link

    • Channel: 1
    • Lease Pool End: 192.168.0.254 (default)


    TP-Link TL-WR840N
    • Channel: 1
    • DHCP: disabled
    • IP Address: 192.168.0.254
    • WDS: enabled


    --Instructions --

    Technicolor TC7200.d2
    • Go to 192.168.0.1
    • Login using username: <blank>, password: admin
    • Go to Network > WAN then take note of the Lease Pool End
    • Go to Wireless > Radio then set Channel to 1

    (Optional)
    • Go to Status > Password then change User Name and Password
    • Go to Wireless > Primary Network then change Network Name (SSID) and WPA Pre-shared Key and set WPA/WPA2 Encryption to AES


    TP-Link TL-WR840N
    • Go to DHCP > DHCP Settings then change DHCP Server to Disable
    • Go to Wireless > Basic Settings then set the Channel to 1 and check the Enable WDS, click Scan then click Connect to <Technicolor SSID> then enter the Password of the Technicolor
    • Go to Network > LAN then change the IP Address to <Technicolor Lease Pool End>

    (Optional)
    • Go to Wireless > Basic Settings then change the Wireless Network Name
    • Go to Wireless > Wireless Security then select WPA/WPA 2 - Personal(Recommended) and change the Wireless Password
    • Go to System Tools > Password then change the User Name and Password
  • stable ba to sir? sakin kasi yung modem ko na technicolor ni sky bumibitaw lagi mobile devices. pag sa pc or laptop di naman lagi. sa mobile and tablets lang. thanks.
  • Ganyan din yung Sky ko sa mobile devices, pc or laptop, may intermittent sa connection. Stable yang ganyang setup kung ok yung mismong ISP mo kaso ang may problema kasi talaga ay si Sky.
  • I have the same modem and provider, but we use a separate access point due to reliability issues with WiFi.

    • Go to Network > LAN then change the IP Address to <Technicolor Lease Pool End>

    pwede pa ba ito sa current 2021/2022 modems ni Sky? balak ko na sana palitan ng 3rd party router e.
