Nakakasira po ba ng Smart TV if used as a Computer Monitor?

  • TCL Smart TV po kase gamit namin sa bahay, If I used it as a Computer Monitor sabe ng barkada ko masisira daw agad TV namin?
  • No...output device lang ang tv mo...it will only show you what your PC processed
  • Ba yan.

    Lock na to.

    LOL
  • the answer is it depends.

if your smart tv is using OLED panel then its highly likely to get broken (not totally broken but it will leave a burn image on the screen)

if its just a regular LCD like TN, VA and IPS which is commonly used panel on all computer and tv monitors, then it can be used in any types of application including using it as a computer monitor.

  • just make sure na nandun lahat ng inmput na kailangan mo..

am using 40" led TV as my monitor, no prob naman, the only con for me is wala siyang manual button for me to turn it on/off..
  • Ang sinasabi ko nga lagi is kung yung LED TV/Smart TV is may PC output function (vga, dvi, hdmi) ibig sabihin ginawa ng manufacturer yung mga TV na yan para maging PC compliant.

A Smart TV IS basically a TV with PC functionality. Iba lang ang OS na nagrurun sa kanila (android, etc.)

I have a 50-inch Devant hooked up on my HTPC via hdmi. Obviously yung HTPC is basically a PC at yung TV ko is just acting like a video output at ganito na setup ko for 2 years na at wala namang issue.
  • Oo, nakakasira. . .

ng mata(given na 55" smart tv mo at 1 foot lang ang layo mo sa monitor, 8 hours a day). xD
