As usual hilaw na naman ang update ni Sony. VRR does not work on my 144hz Freesync monitor. On both my Xbox Series X and S VRR works on the same monitor.

Gumagana naman siya sa LG C1 TV via HDMI 2.1 pero sa Miles Morales ko pa lang siya na test. Meron na din siyang 120Hz mode kasabay ng VRR. Lower input lag at smoother pero parang may visual downgrade sa Performance RT kumpara sa dati.
Napansin ko din na pag naka 120Hz mode yung mga games, yung framerate target ng Fidelity Mode naging 40FPS na imbes na 30. Feeling ko may optimization at slight visual downgrade din silang ginawa. -

most likely wala since may headroom naman gpu pag gumawa sila locked 30fps games. sa case ng ratchet and clank, sila ang unang nag labas ng 40fps fidelity/quality mode para smoother experience para sa may 120hz display. -

gamit ko ultrawide 34" 3440x1440 ips
i will recommend for u a 4k resolution T.V./monitor 120 hz plus higher refresh rate. IPS/OLED, paki check sa thread na Hdtv 4K,nanduun mga latest T.V. monitor

Digital usually have deeper discounts when on sale and doesn't take up physical space or create clutter in your room. Physical also requires the disc in the drive in order to play despite the game already being installed in the internal SSD. Form of DRM yung disc kasi.
Siyempre pag physical, doon sa mga matipid, pwedeng buy used disc, play, then sell para effectively halos libre mo siyang nalaro. Mahilig din sa physical yung mga collectors (like me hehe).

I use LG C1 and I recommend it. I think the C2 (when it becomes available) will be good too. LG TVs are generally ahead in terms of gaming-centric features than even Sony TVs.

On another note:
TLDW: Hilaw pa yung VRR ng PS5. Inferior compared to Xbox VRR and still a ways to go compared to PC VRR (Gsync/Freesync Premium). No Low Framerate Compensation (LFC) and only goes down to 48Hz yung VRR range niya (parang nung early days ng FreeSync). Below that, wala na unless may in-game workaround like doon sa mga Insominiac developed PS5 games.
Interesting to note na pag may Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) yung TV, pag enabled yung console VRR, nagiging disabled yung FALD kasi walang dedicated hardware for synchronization with local dimming katulad nung sa Gsync Ultimate Module. Pero sa OLED TV non-issue naman siya kasi self emissive na yung pixels.

Salamat sa mga inputs. I do have uhd tv na po eh, its the tcl p7 i think yung model. Ok naman na saken yun. Hanap ko po is monitor para kabit ko ren pc ko at minsan kase di makasingit hehe. Kaya monitor hanap ko, solo. Hehe.
