Saw the specs of your HSF. You will be needing a backplate if you want to use it for 1151 as stated on their website

If you have another HSF that has backplate it might fit. -

kahit rubber washers lang from screws (from handyman or ace) will do the trick. May residue kasi yang double sided tape. -

pero im looking for a silent build, hindi naman ako overclocker.

go for gabriel another option mo is ID Cooling IS-VC45 vapor chamber gamit nya at sing laki lang ng stock cooler ni Intel :)

id cooling sf-12025 within 400-450 price range naman yan.
Kung gusto mo ng cheaper, get delta, panaflo or nidec fans with 3 pins marami nyan sa raon. At par naman performance with known branded fans.

^ tried that before nung almost idle lang ako (web/documents), never tried it on gaming tho. Afaik ayos lang as long as you have good case airflow

^ I'm testing it now while browsing the web and playing back music:
I've set the fan curve to spin up the fans once the CPU temps hit 50C.
I got the idea from my graphics cards which stop the fans at idle/2d loads and having almost dust-free fans and heatsinks even after a year of use. Dust build up on CPU heatsinks are a b**ch to clean so I thought maybe doing this would minimize that.

anybody can recommend a good 120-140mm AIO? am looking to sell my kraken x61 on my s340 as I am getting a ton of dust due to the radiator blocking the intake. Thanks!
