The Coolers Thread: CPUs / GPUs / HSFs / Fans: New Products and Reviews

  • @sleepygeepy

I'm perfectly fine with aircooling, my cpu and gpu never reach 70c even if it is summer w/o airconditioning.

This is so true. Siguro 10 yrs ago nung medyo "adik" pa ako sa PC games and upgrades I would have tried custom watercooling kung may budget. Pero now masyado narin kasi busy sa work at limited ang free time sa PC kaya mas gusto ko lang yung affordable and worry free na setup.

Same here.

Kung meron component na gusto ko talaga i-watercool it would be the GPU. Sana mas dumami mga AIO watercooled videocards, and it would be nice kung may reasonably priced RX 480 or GTX 1070 with AIO watercooling.

Ano na pala sir yung binili mo na AIO watercooler? Maganda na yung temps mo sa Core i7-6700K at 4.5GHz. What more pa kung mag Core i7-7700K ka hehe :-)
  • @Squall_2798

Try mo sir open ang side panel ng case for a 15 to 30 minutes.

  • @sleepygeepy

try ko yan sir. wala kaseng front intake fans yung case ko ngayon. di ko makabit at nawawala yung screws. salamt
  • @sleepygeepy

    Thanks a lot po sir...

    Nzxt kraken x62.
  • mga paps! ano ba magandang cpu cooler? as of now i'm using id cooling hunter vc twin. replaced stock fans with thermaltake riings..

uma-abot ako ng 75c when gaming.

    41c idle ko.

    i7 4770k (stock and delidded)

Ok pa yung sa idle (nung naka aircooled din ako, naglalaro jan ang idle ko) kaso mataas na sya as gaming temp actually and sigurado mas mataas pa yan pag load na. Naka-OC ka ba? maybe you should dial it down.

Nakadelid din kasi ako na 4770k @4.6GHz at the moment (CLU as TIM). With a decent liquid cooler like an H100i v2 on a mini ITX case and with a very high core voltage (i know na not recommended sa haswell but as long na ok temps why not), nasa mid to low 30s yung idle temps ko paps and 58-62c max pag gaming depende kung CPU intensive yung game. I'm also using TTrings as well and naka performance mode lang ako palagi since 1400rpm lang naman max. Lastly naka push config mostly yung fans ko for lower temps.

Try mo muna magdial down ng clocks mo if naka-OC ka. If mataas pa din, switch ka na siguro to liquid cooling. Gaya ng sabi ni sleepygeepy H80i v2 is really good, yung ID cooling frostflow pwede na din (previously used yung 240L and ok yung quality nya).

Current temps, no AC.

  • mga sir sino my Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra dito? baka pwede makahingi or makabili ng konti haha

  • ^
If intake go Airflow, pero if may nakaharang sa dadaanan ng hangin like Hard drive cages eh mas okay SP
  • Now cheaper and easier to use :-)

Kung meron lang interested, I think it's a good business opportunity to sell this accessory in TipidPC and then also sell the following items:

    - Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra or Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut
    - High Temperature Silicone Sealant (for re-attaching the heatspreader)
    - Arctic Silver Arcticlean or Coollaboratory Liquid Cleaning or Akasa Tim-Clean etc (for cleaning the die and heatspreader)

May kilala ako nagbenta before. Pmd you.

Meron ako nabili sa amazon before $5 from third party seller then you can forward it for shipping for $5.99, mga 2 weeks lang nasa bahay mo na. Actually isa patak lang yung need mo sa delid, from that 1 drop yung sobra more on para ipahid na lang dun sa likod ng lid.
  • Parang nakakatemp nga magdelidd eh...Overclocked 7700k on Our Family PC to 5.0ghz @ 1.312v and the temps are insane...

Bought a X62 for the 7700K and hope the temps are not so high..

Ano temps nyo on stock clocks (4.50GHz) and on 5.0GHz if I may ask?
  • Sa 4.50Ghz max temps using a Antec 920 nasa 60's rarely goes to 70's even when Stress Testing...Pero kapag 5.0ghz, even a cinebench 15 run can go to late 80's to 91..Stress Testing goes to 94-97...Scary...
  • @sydmon

  • just wanted to add to Air Cooling testimonies

here's my i5-6500's temps on my trusty HSF: ID Cooling VC Hunter Twin <click here for link>

last time i posted eh di din naniwala yung ibang taga TPC pero after a year i still couldn't get temps higher than 50ºC
(di ko pa nadededust yung heatsink or replace thermal paste)

primary usage eh RTS & RPG games while my wife streams movies from my PC to our living room's tv
(1080p movies being transcoded while gaming)

nice! did you replace the TIM/thermal paste that came pre-applied with the x62? or is the default one already good?
  • At first I tried the default that came, but I installed the block in the wrong orientation (NZXT Logo)..Because of reinstalling the block I needed to change the thermal paste..I used a Noctua thermal paste..The temps I get is almost the same..Ao I aay the preapplied thermal paste is already good..
