  • Any suggestions for an air cooler for the Tecware VXR? At a 140mm height limit, 95% chance that my 145mm Cryorig H7 won't fit unless they're a bit loose with their specification.

I'm looking at the Cryorig M9, or Noctua U9S, D9L, or C14S if I can find them.

Fan ID Cooling DF12025 RGB Trio 120mm RGB sync 60CFM 35.2dBA aux fan
Fan ID Cooling ZF12025 RGB Trio 120mm Addressable RGB Sync aux fan

I'd get the DF, mas mataas ang air-pressure ng ZF pero mas gusto ko yung dual bearing fan ng DF.

Downdraft coolers are hard to find nowadays. The available option I see is Noctua NH-L12S but it is meant for HTPC / SFF use. It should provide better cooling than any AMD or Intel stock cooler and be extremely quiet doing do, but you might not be satisfied with the cooling performance. Also if you are using memory with tall heatspreaders you need to check for clearance.

Noctua NH-C14S is probably the better option, and it should provide enough cooling performance for an 8-core CPU like Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-9700K. You can try asking PC shops if they can order the Noctua NH-C14S from the distro or consider ordering it from an online shop or asking a friend / relative abroad to buy it for you.

If you are buying the CPU cooler from abroad then other options are worth looking at like Rajintek Pallas, Thermalright Silver Arrow 130, Thermalright AXP-200 etc...

BTW the Tecware VXR case is really meant for watercooling setups... any reason why you do not want to try an AIO watercooler?

I changed my mind. My GPU doesn't fit the VXR so I'm getting rid of it. Vertical mounting my GPU means an additional 7 to 8k for the bracket and AIO. So noooope, lol.

Anyway, I'm back to my Forge and just gonna use my H7 again.

Maybe when this case becomes available, you might want to try again hehe :-)

I believe you can configure the case to use an ATX motherboard with the GPU vertically mounted as well.

    Specs:
From tecware infinity to InWin 101 TUF
    Mobo: Gigabyte B250m D3H
    PSU: Seasonic S12ii
    GPU: Palit GTX 970 JetStream

For this year, di pa ako makaka upgrade ng CPU at MoBo. I need a place to start, para ma prepare ko fans ko sa future upgrade.

I need 6 fans. Theme ng pc ko is TUF.

Suggestion ko is unahin mo na yung motherboard and CPU . Sa motherboard kasi madalas dependent ang ARGB functionality ng fans and other RGB components. Yung fans madali naman bilhin later and check for compatibility with the motherboard ARGB header.

    - ASUS TUF B450M Plus Gaming (for AMD CPU)
    - ASUS TUF B365M Plus Gaming (for Intel CPU)
    - T-Force Delta TUF RGB memory (DDR4-3000 or DDR4-3200)
    - Deep Cool Gammaxx GTE TUF Edition
    - ASUS TUF series na videocard
    - Any ARGB fans that support ASUS Aura Sync

Pwede ka mag budget CPU muna like Athlon 3000G or Pentium G5400 para mauna mo yung motherboard and other components. Then upgrade mo nalang ang CPU kapag may extra budget.
  • ^ Too bad walang 120mm version.

Any opinion about EKWB's upcoming AIO?

    Comes in 120, 240, and 360.

  • Any opinion about EKWB's upcoming AIO

Price is not too bad considering the included EK-Vardar fans with RGB. Performance should be good if siya yung magiging replacement sa Predator AIO nila.

Yung question lang siguro is how reliable is the pump, and if the radiator is using copper which is less prone to causing galvanic corrosion in the loop.

Less than half the price kasi kesa dun sa rgb.

Deepcool Gammaxx GTE V2 or Deepcool Gammaxx 400?

call the airline to confirm para sigurado. hassle yun bitbit mo yun PC tapos denied to carry/check-in pala.
  • @bluzrok46

Suggestion ko is baklasin mo yung AIO cooler at i-pack sa separate baggage. Para in case mag burst / leak siya dahil sa difference in air pressure at least hindi ma-damage PC mo.

Also in case i-hold siya sa customs then iwanan mo nalang, kesa ma pilitan ka mag-baklas ka ng PC sa loob ng airport :-)

Kung mag migrate ka, might as well sell the AIO (or the PC and just get a new one) at mag air cooler muna.

Not really. If you read forum posts about this, some people have done multiple flights with small PCs that have AIOs without any leaking. For example, this post from this thread: <click here for link>

FWIW, I've flown dozens of internationals flights around the world w/ an AIO cooler w/o any problems with security or leaking.

Although the cabin pressure is lower than that at ground level, the difference isn't huge (otherwise people will have problems). If the AIO is designed well enough it should be able to withstand the difference in pressure without leaking. Nonetheless, if you want to do this, it would be prudent to check the AIO for any signs of leaking.

ano marecommend nyo na 140mm fan as intake, nasa bottom ng case yung intake

If i-mount mo yung fan horizontally like intake or exhaust sa bottom panel ng case, try to look for fans with ball bearing (good) or fluid dynamic bearing (better).

(bottom mounted case fans as intake)

Kapag sleeve bearing or rifle bearing ang gamit ng case fan, mas madali siya mag wear out kung oriented horizontally ang fan. So over time magkakaroon ng friction or magkakaroon ng gewang yung ikot ng fan (unbalanced rotation). Yung vibration maingay din.

Try asking one seller here sa TipidPC kung available pa sa kaniya yung Thermalright TY-140 fans for Php 650 each. Old school fan siya but high performance and very quiet (rivals Noctua).

I will look for Thermalright TY and Cougar Vortex may nakita ako dito na 120 Cougar Vortex nasa 600php. yung Thermalright TY parang walang 120 dito
  • Cooling. It is divided into two types of air and liquid. The task is to remove the thermal radiation emitted by the central processor, making the temperature acceptable for stable operation. Overheating of the processor threatens to reduce the service life and drop in performance, data loss, CPU failure.
    yung specs
    cpu ryzen 5 3600
    case nzxt h440
gpu gt 1030 2gb upgrade sa gtx 1660 super
    psu tx550m
    thank you
  • @Lon3wolf

Take a look at Cougar Vortex PWM fans na 120mm (model CF-V12HP). Maganda ang performance and very quiet despite the strong airflow. Sulit din yung accessories kasi may kasama na rubber dampeners and low noise adapter.

Medyo hard to find lang ngayon ang Cougar Vortex PWM fans kasi most shops prefer to sell the RGB version, pero you might be able to order this from PC shops that carry Cougar products. If you are willing to order from abroad and buying a set of 4 fans to save on shipping, consider ordering the fans online and get the CF-V12HB model which has black fan blades.

Another good alternative (if you are ordering from abroad) is the Noctua Redux fans like NF-S12B and NF-P12. Nasa Php 750 lang per fan if you order from Newegg and it ships to the Philippines.

    NF-S12B Redux 1200RPM PWM

    NF-P12 Redux 1700RPM PWM

Take note na medyo restrictive ang airflow ng NZXT H510 case, so baka hindi mo masulit yung performance ng fans. I suggest choosing a case with mesh front panel or with bigger air vents para masulit mo yung performance ng fans.
