for processors, theres no such thing, theres only 2 choice you have for PC, AMD or Intel. No more no less.
for motherboard, there are known brands, and some not so known chinese brands, and some OEM ones. Nonetheless all of them works just fine, the only difference is the amount of quality components present on the board, eg, the known branded ones have better UEFi/BIOS support and used best known components, like using solid japanese caps, best chokes, gigabit ethernet, better audio. In chinese/OEM brands, you can forget all of that, but still it works if your not that picky.

First of all why are you asking if there is a fake processor and motherboard? Did you order from abroad and got fake items?
And yes there are "fake" CPU's and motherboards available. Fake in the sense that they are sold to you as a specific model but you get a different model delivered to you. It could be a CPU engineering sample with tampered microcode or a motherboard with a different chipset but is using a modified BIOS.
In the past when most CPU's were unlocked, remarking of CPU's was common where a seller would sell you an overclocked CPU in the guise of a higher model.
