*Dito Telecommunity - 3rd Telco (Mislatel)

  • I have a slight hunch (hopefully someone can prove me wrong) na until Apple exposes yung 5G SA toggle for uncertified/unofficial mobile networks or makes DITO an officially supported network eh baka di pa rin gumana 5G.

    Sa case kasi ng T-Mobile US, may toggle sa Cellular Data Options > Data for 5G Standalone for iOS 16.4. And given purely 5G SA ang DITO right now, may chance it won't work since default ata ng iOS for 5G is NSA (which to be fair, is a reasonable albeit not future proof out of box config) unless specially configured yung certified network.

    hindi pa tayo sure dito, pero on my ip12 wala pa din ako masagap na 5G SA kahit sa mga malls like venice,moa,landmark, i dont know kung shinut down ng smart yung 5G SA nila

    Sana matuloy. Planning to switch na ako from Dito to Gomo. Nabuhayan ako sa Postpaid na balita nato.

    Official iOS device support pinaka-inaasahan ko dito.
    I mean, malaking kawalan kung di sila makakapag-offer ng iPhone and other iOS devices with their postpaid plans. By offering it via postpaid, required ang Apple and DITO na supported officially out of the box yung network unlike right now na required manual configuration.

    It doesn't appear they have signed agreements yet though.
    Unlike Globe and PLDT na at the very least nakapag-sign na ng MOU/MOA with their satellite partners such as AST Mobile and Lynk (the latter has started testing with Globe).

    China Telecom (DITO's chinese partner) is an Apple-supported network so hindi impossible. Yun nga lang, afaik eh Apple wants a spotlight sa product line as well as significant funds in the form of initial contract amount and minimum product orders.
  • any postpaid user na nakatanggap neto? legit daw eh.

  • Looks like nagrorollout na si dito. Just now lumabas na 5G signal ko and upon checking sa Netmonster it uses 5G SA 3700 unlike globe na NSA. Naka Samsung A54 ako wala pa ito kanina. 18ms ping with 550mbps indoor 4 bars.

  • Unli5G DITO
    Postpaid - <click here for link> Php 1490 incl. 5G router
    Prepaid - <click here for link> Php 1090 excluding 5G router worth Php 12990
  • ^That is good news for consumers. Globe nalang ang walang truly unlimited fixed wireless plan. Smart has unlifam 1199 and now dito has a unlimited options as well. I think fixed wireless is the future. It's easier to setup and it requires less man power for the telcos. Fiber is still king for obvious reasons but the reality is, it would be too costly for telcos to lay out fiber lines on less populated areas.

  • @Henrelle09

    NSA 3700? Nakita mo kung ano yung earfcn? Or can you post a screenshot?

    @Hamz

    Possibleng "misdetected" lang yan nung app. Yung n78 3500MHZ kasi ay superset ng n77 3700MHz similar to how n41 and n90 are superset of n38.

    n77 3300MHz – 4200MHz
    n78 3300MHz – 3800MHz

    "misdetected" in the sense na tama naman yung detection, hindi nga lang yung ini-expect mo.

    Yung kinaaasaran ko sa Prepaid Home nila is required bilhin yung modem at this point and it costs P12,990.
    Meanwhile, yung openline version niya can be bought for around 8K. Not only is it not subsidized (which is typical for network-branded or network-locked devices), may patong pa. Sa laki ng patong, hindi ko siya majustify especially since di kagandahan thermals ng modem na yan. Mas malala pa kung may existing kang compatible and better na modem.

  • @DMZ

    so wala masyadong difference yan if ever n77?

  • @dmz

    Hindi po ako familiar sir. hehe pero using my Samsung A52s 5G, naka SA N78 sya tapos 400-500Mbps ang download speed ko kahit nasa loob ng bahay.
  • @jan_brane

    Di naman. Ako nga naka-Dito 199 nakakasagap naman.

    @Henrelle09

    If pwede, post mo nga dito screenshot ng Netmonster sa A54 while connected sa DITO 5G. Thanks.

    Di ko sure. Also, since home users subscribers niyan, i doubt kinakalikot nila to use LTE anyways given anlaki ng performance DITO 4G an 5G.

    As for Unicom vn007/vn007+, i don't remember a restarting issue pero I recall yung pangit na thermals since bumababa performance or nadidisconnect kapag mainit na masyado
  • so wala masyadong difference yan if ever n77?

    wala naman dapat
  • @Hamz
    un lang nakita ko sa netmonster

    @jan_brane
    Nung nadetect ko sya last week naka high speed data lang ako. wala pa flash 5g

    Starting today nawala signal ko so tumawag ako to report then bumalik ulit signal kaso 4G 2100. di na nag 5G sa area ko unlike kagabi 5G SA 3700 sa netmonster

    baka pwede mo ma post dito paps yung screenshot sa netmonster pag meron ka nasagap ulit na 3700mhz for reference lang namin ni dmz

    yan yung disconnecting issue pag nag speedtest sa ookla, pero di ba na patch na yan sa software update?
  • @ahmner
    Di na accurate si Netmonster minsan.
    Try mo cellular Z at cellular pro app makita mo lht ng bands at other bands.

  • hirap parin tumawag smart/globe using DITO.
  • ^ that’s too bad. Sila sana yung pinakaaffordable na call, text and data promos.
    Hirap din ba incoming calls?
