Kaya ang suggestion ng expert na mga alternative ay direct to satellite which is very expensive but will be working agad as to other suggestion that DITO will build its own submarine cable which will take a minimum of 5 years.

Did a quick Google search on this. It looks like only the Hong Kong link will be bypassed. The revised application will only activate the US-Taiwan and US-PH portions of the system. -

Masyadong malabo mangyari yan considering that Digong has 91% trust and approval rating in the latest survey during a pandemic and we are now nearing the end of his term. As far as trend goes there's going to be no opposition or at least anything that is related to LP next term considering that they didn't win a single senate seat last election, even Bam did not win. His last name could not even help him win. Anything that Duterte endorses to be President will win, or else her daughter will even if he does not approve it.
All DITO has to do is do its job. -

nope, bad idea, satelite is really slow, and also expensive.
satelite has big disadvantages, one is the bandwidth (your not getting a terabit pipeline out of it) and also latency (the best you can go with is 600ms). So a big NO.
kung wala silang sariling backbone, baka magagaya lang sila sa ibang ISP like Converge na nakiki-kabit sa pipeline ng 2 giant telco. -
Dito wants to lease one of our land sa nueva ecija...300 sq meters.....lease is for 25 years...6 million pesos upfront then may additional 15k monthly....do you guys think fair offer na yun?

I want to see how good is their interconnection with other telcos.
They should force all telcos to have telco to telco link within each city so data does not have to travel outside each island to reach devices within the same city. -
