Thats why i thought na baka ang mga new cards is bumalik like the older ones since everyone is into modifying their vga kahit built in naman na ang feature na less power and less temp. -
Magkaiba sila ng purpose.
Feature na less power/temp ay kapag di mo ginagamit fully yung card. idle clocks, fans, etc. Same sa processors.
Ang overclock/underclock/undervolt naman ay kapag ginagamit mo na yung card. gaming clocks, boost clocks, etc. Timpla timpla para makuha gusto nilang FPS, temps, power, etc. -

Some laptops may encounter a BSOD when installing Radeon™ Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition over an existing OEM graphics driver. Share ko lang
Ito yung sweet spot ng manual tuning overclock/undervolt ko sa Gigabyte 5700 XT Gaming OC ko. Anything more than this nagaartifacts or crash sa Unigine. So far okay naman sa games.

Basically plus 50 sa memclock at gpu clock and minus 150-200 sa voltage. 1999 ang nakasulat sa monitoring tools pero in actual 1950 talaga.

Test uli. Limit na talaga ng silicon ko ang 2000 (1950) Mhz core clock and 1800 Mhz mem clock. Anything higher nag-a-artifacts na. Even with Power Tuning na 10-50% and lower/higher voltage 1000-1200 mV. Tried with three different games and Unigine Superposition.
Now I'm gaming at 2000 (1950) core, 1800 mem, 1000 voltage. 1 hour with no issues so far. Excellent psu consumption and temps.

After mag-set ng manual tuning, save nyo profile
Then edit nyo sa notepad para mapagana ang zero fan mode. Hanapin nyo ID=18 tapos set nyo as True.
Then load nyo profile. Maganda rin per game load nyo profile para di nagbabago. Sakin kasi kapag shutdown/restart ng pc bumabalik sa default yung global profile.

Skl. Pansin ko sa performance logs kapag nagka-artifacts then crash yung 5700 XT graphics drivers ko max ang core clocks and bagsak ang power (70 Watts). Ito yung Monster Hunter World Err 12 Crash -> crash ang dx12. Kapag dx11 zero crashes pero baba ng fps.

ave. is 175w. for the power tuning kaya ko nilagay yung 50% as a failsafe lang if ever the card needs more voltage, hindi siya restricted to 1V, dahil may allowance pang 50% if it needs it. pag kinapos kasi ng voltage it will be unstable and or result in a bsod. still observing kung anong optimal at stable for 1v undervolt. kaya ko ginawang 1800mhz yung vram to compensate the lower core clock as per Ancient Gameplays sa YT. But yeah il try to bump the clocks again +50mhz :)
**bumped it +50mhz on core, +100pts sa superposition 4k optimized. average wattage was 180w, it peaked 190w tho.

Power = Voltage x Current. In this case, voltage is fixed na sinet mo. So kapag tinaasan mo ang power limit to 50%, tumataas ang pinapapasok mong current which in turn tataas ang Power (Watts) mo. So higher temps. Hindi ka ica-crash/bsod ng power tuning na mababa or mataas. Unless mahina or mababa PSU mo. Ang magiging dahilan ng crash ay kung di na kaya ng chip mo ang lower or higher voltage or clocks. silicon lottery sabi nila.

What i have in mind is, min maxing. Minimizing the heat output while aiming for more fps. The settings i have right now are stable so far. As for the PSU, im running on a Seasonic P860 which is kinda fresh pa like 2 year old palang. Wala lang akong magawa kanina kaya naisip ko gumawa nung benchmarks above. Kakakuha ko lang din netong card a few days ago, ngayon lang nagkaron ng time magbutingting hehe! Saka ko na barubalin to pag lampas na ng 1 year.

You're on the right track. Ang key idea is undervolt + overclock. Undervolt will lower your temps and power consumption while overclock increases fps. Try to stick near nitro's boost 2010. Watch your max power draw and temps then adjust fans accordingly. Impt yung fans kasi mainit talaga ang 5700 XT.

Benchmark was done under 29c room temp. it can run under 1600mv, pero boost clocks wont last that long which equates to lesser score.

- will compare with memclock at 1750. probably insignificant differences
- fan curve can be adjusted for lower temps
- green highlight is sweet spot
- yellow highlight is also good but power limit needs to be adusted to 5-10% to prevent throttling
- must test for stability
- will also test default clocks/volts of the card

So far ang problem ko lang is gpu usage drop every 5-8seconds pag naka stream ako in discord. It goes away pag nag rrestart ako.
