newbie, seeking help to build 80k-budget gaming pc

  • hello po. Kailangan ko po ng mga expert opinions about a gaming pc. Hopefully by the end of the year may sapat na budget na ako pero for now canvassing muna. Please see my planned build below.

    CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x
MOBO: MSI RTX 2070 SUPER Gaming X Trio
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3600MHz
    SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB 2.5 SSD CT1000MX500SSD1
CASE: Deepcool Matrexx 55 ADD RGB TG CASE
    PSU: Seasonic Focus Gold 650FM
COOLING: Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo Red
GPU: MSI Gaming Pro Carbon AC

they were chosen kasi gusto ko pong sagarin yung 80k na budget (very noob move) pero hindi ko po alam kung compatible ba sila kapag binuo na. Kung may suggestion po kayo, paki edit na lang po yung list. Ok din po yung may tips and tricks kayo for newbie

    other questions:
    1) Malakas po ba sa kuryente ang gaming pc compared sa normal pc?
    2) AMD vs Intel
    3) Kailangan po ba talaga ng cooling system? Air vs Liquid, which is better and more manageable/advisable?

malaking tulong po sa mga sasagot. Thanks in advance.

Usually for build recommendations, mas maganda mag-post sa Unified Help Me Build My Rig thread.

Pero since nabanggit mo na by end of year mo pa plan ibuo ang PC, I suggest na huwag ka muna mag finalize ng parts kasi madami new CPU's and videocards darating this year. Also yung prices magbabago din so yung list mo will constantly change every month especially kung may deals or promos.

Pero for building a gaming PC in general, focus most of your budget sa videocard + CPU combination. Kung wala ka pang gaming monitor, I recommend allotting more budget sa monitor as well. No point in building a kickass gaming PC with powerful videocard kung ang monitor mo is potato quality :-)

    To answer your questions:

    1) Malakas po ba sa kuryente ang gaming pc compared sa normal pc?
    >> Yes because of the extra power consumed by the videocard and when gaming, sometime mataas ang load sa CPU. Pero take note na mas malakas ang power consumption only when gaming. When browsing or watching movies same lang ang power consumption as a non-gaming PC.

    2) AMD vs Intel
    >> Very broad question and can mean many things. Pero if you are talking about AMD CPU vs Intel CPU for a gaming PC, both are good but AMD Ryzen processors offer the best value currently.

    3) Kailangan po ba talaga ng cooling system? Air vs Liquid, which is better and more manageable/advisable?
    >> Do you need a different CPU cooler for the processor? For AMD Ryzen processors no, since decent na yung included na CPU cooler. But if you want better cooling performance I recommend buying a budget CPU cooler so the processor can also run at Turbo speeds more often and for longer duration.

    >> For Intel processors, I say yes since the included CPU cooler is often inadequate at high CPU loads. Also some Intel CPU's do not come with a CPU cooler so you have to buy one.

    >> Air Cooling vs Liquid Cooling: I recommend air cooling since they are cheaper and more reliable than liquid coolers. Liquid cooling is good if you are overclocking the processor. Or if you are using a processor with high power consumption like an 8-core Intel CPU or a 12-core / 16-core AMD CPU. For most processors used in gaming builds, air cooling is more than adequate.
