Did the tech also test the voltage going to the motor? Puede din kasi na low voltage supply.
this is exactly what i'm thinking. ruled out muna dapat yan bago i-convict si fan motor.
and yes, but if there are obvious signs like noise and grittiness,,, faulty na nga.

Yan nga din sabi ko e. di ko ma-account yung mga appliances e, wala naman silang mga electric stuff sa kusina except yung ref at yung oven nila na rarely used.

We bought 1.5 version of this for an smdc condo last month. Okay naman siya, medyo maingay at malamig sa bedroom, pero parang bagal niya palamigin yung whole 22sqm unit since may divider.
May PC din gf ko pero siguro 3-4 hrs lang gamit. Planning to change it para mas efficient since youtube lang haha.
Do you think an air circulator would help distribute yung cold air for better regulation? high ceiling din kasi sila e.

Based sa experience, biglang hindi lumamig 20hrs. bukas sya set na ko 19 wala padin pero may buga sya ramdam mo paglumapit ka.
As of now ok naman sya lumalamig na kuwarto balik na sya sa dati.
Pero parang may unusual sound sya kasi lagi kaming naka econo mode dati ngyong sobrang init cool mode lang sya.
Natakot na ko tuloy gamitin for 20hrs deretso.
Cleaning:
Pag madumi na outdoor over all lines kame indoor and outdoor with AMBER PROTECT all the time when we clean baka ito naging cause.
Then pag naglinis tinatanggal namen yung board ni indoor and yung fan nya.
Ano sa tingin nyo mga BOSS?

May LG 2.5HP IBA ako and mag iisang taon na. size ng unit is around 25-30sqm
Two weeks ago napansin ko na parang may mist or tipong tubig na galing sa water sprayer (di ko alam ung tamang term) akong na eencounter. Usually nangyayari siya pag ung temps ko is set around 26 below.
December ung last kong palinis so akala ko sign na un for me para magpalinis so nagpalinis ako dun sa installer.
Until now may mga ganung moments pa rin ung indoor unit ng AC ko.
I tried to vacuum ung drain pipe using a shopvac habang naka dry mode pero wala namang bara na nakuha.
Habang umaandar ung vacuum wala naman akong naririnig na parang barado ung pipe
I've check the connections rin mula sa indoor unit papunta sa outdoor and wala naman akong nakita na leak or any signs na nagka water leak.
Normal lang ba ung nararanasan ko?
Does it mean na di ko dapat iset ung temp ng AC ko below 26(dun ko kasi napapansin ung mist na nangyayari)
Na try ko mag manually set to 26 and just dry mode and parehas ang result na may mist.

kung sakali umulit; turn the AC OFF, turn the breaker OFF for a minute then ON(breaker). turn the AC ON(cool mode) then observe.

baka may nabutas/leak? i don't think so,,,, hindi na lalamig yan ulit kung nagkaroon ng leak hanggang sa ma drained ang refrigerant.

2. surface mist sa cover/louvers?
if
1. clogged drain
2. it happens sometimes and it depends sa room temps & RH levels. nangyayari yan kung sobrang lamig pa rin yun lumalabas sa louvers kahit malamig na ang room.

Good day. I am planning to purchase the TAC22CSA/KEI TCL 2.5HP.
We have total of 26 sqm combining the living room, dining area and small kitchen.
However we wanted to remove the small kitchen and extend our home so we can have
much more large space for the kitchen. After renovation total will be 32sqm.
Does TAC22CSA/KEI TCL 2.5HP is enough to cool the area or 3HP AC is much better?

I think that's a newly-released COMPACT model based on the UJE series that is likely a stripped down version of the one being sold abroad.. Though I've just seen the specs sa Lazada, I won't be updating it sa page 01 until officially posted na sa site ni TCL PH.

That's an awfully big room for a 1.5hp to cool. Dapat yan ay 2hp na.

Yes that would make a world of difference. Once malamig na yung room ay puede na i-off yung air circulator.

I think the squirrel fan is dirty kaya ganyan yugn condensate from the evaporator eh bigla biglang sumasama sa buga ng fan. You can either try Statix's hack of cleaning the squirrel fan to delay cleaning, or just proceed to get it cleaned to finally get done with it.

Kakayanin yan ng 2.5hp on typical days. But on summer days like now, it will struggle. So a 3HP will be a better choice.

Walang dripping nor mist sa cover/louvre.
ung mist just occurs pag tipong nasa 25c and below temp reading and ung hygrometer reading is nasa 30-40.
Di naman malala ung mist to be fair baka napapraning lang ako
I tried to vacuum ung drain pipe pero walang bara na nahigop. I also noticed na walang moisture/ halos tuyo ung drain pipe. I don't know if that's an indicator for anything

3/4 non inverter is fine for the job and will likely be running nonstop specially at present heat spell.
But if u want to save on electricity by utilizing inverter AC energy saving capabilities, better get at least 1hp of it instead

Yung room ng anak kong lalaki is 5.5sqm and is fitted with a 1hp standard-sized WT. Always nice and peachy. But for your usage, a 1hp compact will nicely fit the bill.

Masyado yatang mababa yung target temp mo? Ano pala ang fan speed when it happens? Baka naka-low fan ka lang? Try setting it to F2 at 25deg and below to see if baka need lang ng faster fan speed.
If ganun pa rin, try setting it to 26deg lang muna and see if it still persists.
