posible. magkakaalaman yan on the peak of summer heat na, tapos wala pa insulation kung direct hit yun roof ng room nila.

Can't wait to see their electric bill! Ü
@snow
They can cheat by improving air circulation with an electric fan in the peak of summer.

Hello! Ex-Daikin user here. Bought TCL KEI na 1.5hp for 15sqm na shaded room. Bukas installation. Talaga bang matibay tong TCL? Sana hindi ako magsisi in the end tulad ng sa Daikin. Sa Daikin ko, almost 2 pull down cleaning, at every 3 months cleaning and yet madalas magleak. Then ayun na nga cost us 9k to replace PCB ng Daikin. Parang presyo ndn ng isang unit unting tumbling nlng.
Salamat.

Care to share specific model of your Daikin unit?
Also, on how it was installed, gaano kalayo from indoor unit to outdoor unit.
Just wondering why madalag mag leak sayo and why frequent yung cleaning.
Baka it's the way how the unit was installed.

I am on a 1.5hp split Daikin Queen in a 16sqm room.
Interested to know magkano bill nya.
Eversince I installed Daikin(1.5HP) and Panasonic (1HP still underpowered), my bill went from 6-7k to 4k.
Right now, we are trying to check if we can still lower this.
We have 1 Ref Inverter, 2 LED TVs, 1 FAWM Inverter din kasi.
Previous bill of 7k was with Hitach (0.75) inverter, GE 0.75HP non-inverter, LG FAWM non-inverter. Eto yung mga underpowered unit installed on a same space area so talagang malakas sa kuryente.

Uhm, the brand isn't really famous for making some very durable aircon units. The KEI series in particular is powerful and cheap yes, but durable is not really listed in their track record.
Sa Daikin ko, almost 2 pull down cleaning, at every 3 months cleaning and yet madalas magleak.
When you say leak, do you refer to water dripping from the indoor unit or loss of cooling due to the refrigerant leaking out? I tend to think in the same line kay xyberblue na baka pangit lang yung installation nung Daikin mo which resulted in its premature demise..
And okay ba na direct na itatap ung wiring? May abang na kasi for AC na wiring tapos may exclusive sya na switch sa main breaker.
Just to give you an idea of my house's setup:
I have 3 rooms. All three rooms have a dedicated aircon breaker. The breaker has been properly sized (15A) for a 1hp inverter WT. I would have preferred a 10A but opted to use a 15A na lang since nabili ko na. If the breaker sa wall Main Panel Board mo ay 30A tapos 1.5hp lang yung inverter aircon na ikakabit, you will need to replace the circuit breaker to a lower capacity (15A) to prevent instances wherein sunog na yung aircon eh hindi pa nag-trip yung breaker.
Salamat.
For most ST units, having a sub-breaker outside is ideal since it allows the technician to service the unit without having to go inside your house to turn the breaker off. It also allows you to have an additional layer of security from which you can 1. set up an escalation of breakers (10A outside >>> 15A panel board) and 2. install a smart power monitoring solution (e.g. Sonoff POW Elite) that allows you to track consumption remotely.
Kaya nga talagang pinag-iisipan yung setup bago pa bumili para maiwasan yung chopsuey na installation later on. Pulido na agad ika nga.

i second that. with ST ACs be it a top tier or the least makes/models, there's no such thing as the best/toughest AC out there. "anything" could be screwed easy by a simple, unsuspected faulty installation. poor drain system to name a few.
installation ang crucial talaga with STs.

Guys any feedback sa mga seller sa fb that claims they're from Abenson's warehouse or something?

^Haven't heard of it. Best way to find out is get the name and contact info of the "reseller" then inquire directly with Abenson head office. Assuming the units are legit, need to verify if warranty will be honored / authorized talaga sila by Abenson and the manufacturer itself to sell those units.
