Cheaper during rainy days.....
1.5HP Midea U
11 hours usage time
1.47kWh Consumed
P 8.9071 per kWh
13.09 Pesos lang!
nice!
that's why i still opted to use the AC kahit tag lamig or tag ulan pa yan, way more comfortable.
unknown to most peeps, multiple e-fans running simultaneously are silent killers. mas mabuting mag AC ka na lang.
PS: Every week, Midea U app notifies you to clean the filter
that's nice.

From what i read, if you will be using a pe foam with radiant barrier (foil), effective yung radiant barrier if may air space between the foil and roof. So in your case, na i-sandwich mo sya, baka mas ok na yung walang foil ang gamitin mo para makatipid since di effective yung radiant barrier.

One month old midea u. Still searching for YT to show me how to DIY clean this U. So far no results.
This is easy to pullout.

Although mas matrabaho to for me and might cause some issue in the future (fire hazard) kaya i better choose na baklasin na lang ang part ng kisame ko at lagyan ng PE foam ang bubong. Pero still this is a good alternative.

hi guys pahelp naman..bale magpurchase din kasi ako ng 2hp split type for my sala which is roughly around 18sqm..
ano po ok dito?
Daikin Queen Series 2hp
Kolin Primus Full DC 2hp
Gree U-W18-3DR-DC
Midea Ultimate Comfort FP-53AST020KEIV-G4 2HP
Panasonic CSCUXPU18WKQ 2HP
I took the liberty of adding the Gree full-DC unit (You can ask Macool & Yohan for the price). But looking at your choices, the Daikin Queen stands out thanks primarily to its high EER and 3-year PCB warranty. The most feature-packed of the lot is the Kolin Primus but yun nga, 1-year lang ang warranty ng pcb like the rest of the lot.
thanks nga pala sa mga tumulong dito specially kay master Godai..bale ang napili ko is yung Daikin Queen dahil don sa 3years Super PCB warranty nya..since medyo sobrang sama ng panahon ngayon baka sa wednesday ko nalang padeliver and painstall (hopefully mag ok ang weather)
question po ulit..my tita is planning to buy din ng split type..pero sa mall kasi sila bibili and preferred nila is LG Dual Inverter..sorry pero tanong ko lang po though nabasa ko na naman po sa page 1 na meron sumusulpot na minor problem.. pero ano kaya specific problem?and i tried to explore din few pages back baka sakali maka kita ako na may naka encounter ng major problem using this brand pero wala ako makita hehe..anyway thanks in advance.

Common issues ng LG?
- damaged fan motor
- damaged receiver pcb
- evaporator leak
Fixable naman with parts readily available. But lumalabas lang talaga soon after it goes out of warranty.

Yup! Mura ang parts ng LG if you order direct sa authorized dealers nila Dami mapagsamantala na technicians overprice the parts dahil alam nila na walang idea ang karamihan ng customers.
LG aircon are not perfect, but they're quite okay naman.

Sa mga bibili ng Pow R3, I suggest that you also buy a plastic weatherproof box (200 x 200 x 80) and DIN rail for it. Dumating na yung box ko but wala pa palang kasamang DIN rail to mount the R3.

nice! that would look neat and pro.

Good afternoon mga lods, owner of LG 2HP Dual Inverter Aircon here (Model HS-18ISS). I just want to share:
Last month humina na ang buga ng aircon namin considering na kakalinis lang nya nung April of this year. So I called the LG Service Center for on-sight visit. The repairman told me na need na ng pumpdown, the cost of pumpdown is Php7,000 and it is needed every 2 years. Meron na ba naka experience ng ganito?
Thank you in advance.

^i wonder kung paano maglinis ang cleaner mo. hindi mandatory i-pull down every 2 years ang unit for cleaning ang kung maayos sila maglinis.
@7.5K? lakas ng raket nyan ah.
our kolin ST is on it's 8th year now, never pa nakaranas mag pull down yun.
my daikin @ 2yrs old last may this year, working great since day 1.

Hindi nila binababa pag naglilinis, sabi ng technician during the pumpdown, nirereplace nila yung freon totally kaya raw mahal. Next time nga pag nag palinis ako, i will require them na ibaba ang unit.

Nauuso talaga ang modus ng pull-down cleaning. Your previous cleaner simply failed to clean your unit properly. Nangyayari talaga yan kapag masinsin ang fins. While a pull-down cleaning will indeed solve that problem, a proper good cleaning will do that as well for a fraction of the cost. Nariyan din ang possibility na sira ang fan capacitor kung kaya mahina ang buga (only applicable if AC ang fan motor ng indoor unit mo).
I suggest na pabalikin mo yung naglinis and have them do a better job.

Wait wait wait! WTF?!

Sorry Bro Godai_Yusaku [TS] if confusing yung post ko. Last month during pumpdown, binaba nila yung unit ko and ang nakalagay sa receipt ko is Pumpdown, not pull down. last April, regular na linis lang ginawa nila, they cleaned it na hindi binababa ang unit ko. The technician explained to me na Pumpdown is they replace all the freon with a new one.

@zuplado
Actually sir, pumpdown means i-evacuate nila ang freon sa line by vacuuming into a waiting cylinder. Afterwards ay kakargahan lang ulit to the manufacturer specified weight and pressure. But not necessarily fresh refrigerant. And this is done even without having to take down the evaporator dahil need na buo yung system to capture all the refrigerant in the system.
Pull-down cleaning po ang need ng aircon (or replace ng capacitor) kapag mahina ang buga at hindi pumpdown. Yung pumpdown (or reprocess) ay ginagawa kapag hilaw ang lamig and is usually because may tubig sa lines or undercharge ang refrigerant.
FYI po sa difference.

Thanks. We just got a quote from an authorized Daikin service center: 6,000 to replace the indoor pcb receiver. We cannot run the air-con through the remote control (which is working naman daw). Manual operation for now. The unit is not used daily as the window-type Hitachi in our bedrooms, so it’s a little disappointing the receiver failed after only 2 years.

So long as ayos yung mismong control chip, this is easily repairable for a fraction of the cost..
