Salamat po, sige will try the mesh first to check for dust accumulation.

But as per checking po, may r32 na ac na po pala sina AUX? Kamusta po yung r32-specific units nila? Planning to get the 3 HP one but I can't seem to find an eer rating for it. I tried checking their website but r410a ang refrigerant niya duon so I assume hindi rin accurate ang eer na naka list for that model.

Also, I lurk on their fb group and some users report na mataas raw po ang energy consumption nila? Still, I'm only interested in their r32 model so it might be unaffected but at this point I have zero knowledge on aux products so it would still be very much appreciated po to hear your inputs on them.

Not sure if pwede maglagay ng e-commerce site links dito kaya ito nalang po ang 3hp model: ASW-30A2FLDI. I found this specific model on both Sho and Laz.

  • @tipidpisti

Uhm, you're looking at a F-series unit from AUX right? Don't waste your money because super inefficient yan. Yung J-series nila ang may matinong performance. Now if 3hp ang need mo, I seriously suggest you look elsewhere because the AUX F-series just won't cut it.
  • @Godai_Yusaku

Yes po that's correct it's the F-series. I see, maraming salamat po sa info, will definitely remove it po from my list. As far as J-series goes I'll check them out po but the last time I checked they also had r410a refrigerants? The problem I see with Aux in the Philippines is that parang bagsakan tayo ng pinaglumaang/sobrang units to dispose dahil when I compare their available models here in PH sa model nila internationally, phased out na yung mga models like F and J (regular) series, J-smart nalang sa kanila then other models na mas mukhang modern.

I think 2.5 hp can also work for me po? I used the Abenson room calculator and they claimed that a 2.5 HP can accommodate 35-43 sqm. My bedroom is 22 sqm then there's a divider po to a small 8 sqm room that I use as a small gym. I got a large Vornado so I can hopefully push the air there much faster since I use that 8 sqm room for only 1-2 hours a day anyway.

I really wanted Panasonic BUT not only do they have a measly 1 year warranty, but based on backreading from this thread, they have one of the most expensive pcb replacements. But I did read somewhere here (I forgot the page) where a buyer had 3 years of warranty on their PCB from Panasonic, they even posted a receipt that confirms it.

I wanted Daikin next but I'm still waiting for their newer models since it's been a long while since they updated them.

I guess LG is okay as well but they too only have a 1 year warranty.

I guess an option I can ask my suppliers is if I could purchase an additional warranty? Do suppliers do that?

  • Window INV vs Split INV
    Pros and Cons?
Currently window non-inv ang gamit ko. May same size ako nakikita na window inv. Should i go for it or split type na?
  • ^posted this a few weeks ago on page 266 if you backread a bit<click here for link>
I suggest as much as possible just opt for a window type. The ST installation cost's just the tip of the iceberg for the compounding expense of maintaining an ST. Yung cleaning na lang is at least twice as much ST vs WT. Aside from more frequent ang cleaning requirement ng ST. Cons lang ng WT is it's not as quiet as an ST and you'll need a bigger provision to install. Other than that, WT gets my vote by a landslide.

  • good day mga sir,

sapat na kaya ang 1hp split type na AC sa 12sqm na room at 2.5m ang taas ng ceiling mula sa floor? base kasi sa chart sa page 1, 5-12sqm sa split ang 1hp at 10-22sqm naman yata sa pag sa 1.5hp.

basic inverter AC lang habol namin, been eyeing MHI 1 at 1.5hp split types..

    thanks!

i have a 1.5hp ST on my 11m² bedroom and another 1.5hp ST on the other @ 13m².
  • @statix

    MITSUBISHI SRK13YN-S 1.5HP Deluxe Inverter

    or

    MITSUBISHI SRK13YL-S 1.5HP Premium Inverter
  • Pa OT mga sir

Ano ma recommend nyo for 20sqm condo unit pero mataas ang ceiling
1.0hp or 1.5hp?

Pa suggest naman po magandang brand and model na bang for the buck and tipid in the long run mga 8hrs every night lang gagamitin sa gabi
    Budget is 15k

cooling performance and power consumption wise, so far so good.
yes, mabuti na ang meron kang headroom. 1.5hp na.

kakapusin ang 1.5hp dyan. you are looking for a 2hp as minimum.

baka split type ang ibig mo sabihin?
i doubt kung meron ka makukuha for 15K for a 2hp kahit non-inverter pa.
  • @macool - nag order na ako ng outdoor ac unit air deflector sa lazada made of aluminum. Will wait for it to arrive and share some pics here. I got it for only 800+ and based sa actual picture ng mga nakabili na and review nila, maganda feedback. Yung ibang seller sobrang mahal magbenta — almost 2 to 3k —probably because it’s a niche product.

@musicgeek - was about to consider yung suggestion nyo sir na itapat na lang outdoor unit pero masyado mahal na singil nasa 4.5k. Ok na pala supposed to be yung suggestion ng installer nung installation na magfabricAte na lang para matapat sa labas.
  • ^Ah wala naman kaso yan pagkainstall mo now in my opinion except that it might get initially uncomfortable lang sa balcony nyo upon AC startup. The condenser hot air will release to the grills anyway before it bounces off the wall so no AC performance degradation there. Nice na yan deflector suggestion ni @mccool as an affordable workaround.

Subsequent split type AC installation mo na lang consider canvassing brackets fabrication with other contractors. I don't think it should be that expensive.

i see. thanks sa info sir musicgeek. everyone kasi sinasabi magsplit type nako. eh may provision na and may inv na same size sa dati kong ac. i don't mind the noise. and malakas naman ako kayang buhatin kapag cleaning hehe

Ask mo na lang Marx for the item link.

    @songerph

Kasi that will impact what units you can consider.

    @maaykol

If you're asking for recommendations ng conventional WT aircon for your condo, you've come to the wrong thread because this here is specifically for inverter aircons
  • Ito yung link ng condenser air deflector.

    <click here for link>

    3 sizes

    S -470 x 460 mm
    M - 550 x 550 mm
    L -630 x 660 mm

Binili ko Small lang and at this time it just costs 848.

  • ^it's good to know na meron na available na pre-fabricated nyan deflector. mura na rin yan, plug and play pa.

    thanks

-- edited by coresync on May 29 2022, 05:10 AM
  • ^kung 24/7 use, recommended mag cleaning every 3 months.
slime/biofilm sa drain line? that's a sign na kailangan mo na magpa-cleaning. flooding may come soon after your drain clogs with slime.
  • @statix

    @Godai_Yusaku

Or pa suggest if may much better sa nabanggit

Edit: 23sqm condo (less 3.5sqm closed bathroom)

Half a month since installation di naman 24/7 pero nakababad basta nasa bahay ako paalis-alis syempre because of work pero 10kWh which is an additional 75 pesos lang sa bill so double it in a month nasa mga 150-200 pesos a month lang dagdag sa monthly bill ko which is lower than what I expected na 1k a month additional at least. Average temp ko 25-27C lagi depende sa temps sa labas syempre per 98% of the time naka-Econo and Auto lang setting nya. I will finally have a full month's consumption next bill pero so far okay an okay si Queen in terms of power consumption.

    -- edited by ccl2003 on May 29 2022, 09:28 PM

    1.5hp samsung = 5k+
1.5hp daikin queen = 3.2k (latest bill namin)

  • ^regardless of brand, you'll save energy basta keep your temp setting between 25~27°C.
if you can live in comfort @ 26~27°C during hot days, much better.
