If you're referring to yung Safety Breakers na may kasamang universal outlet, then yes puede naman. Ginawa ko na yan dati.
Thanks Sir Godai.

Hi,
Planning to purchase Gree Inverter 1.0HP Model GW09-6DR at FB Market Air-_ _ _ Mart which is cheaper by 2.5K. Any feedback from this store. Go na ba sya?
TIA

1 would be the better choice for location as 2 would be awful since it will only be able to draw in hot air and will likely operate very inefficiently.
2HP is enough. But if tama yung observation na uninsulated roof deck ang roof ng kwarto mo, then better ang 2.5hp dahil pirming mainit yung concrete slab na yan well into the evening. Now if you are actually able to insulate that deck and bring down daytime temps in your room, then a 2hp will be more than sufficient.
Thanks sir Godai. Do you have any recommendations besides TCL (2 or 2.5hp) on the same price range? Ok din sana si Unitech ST kaso wala sila installer at wala daw home service if ever mag claim ng warranty.

Hi mga kaTPC, would it be okay if I buy the 1hp Ugair-9001 on a 15sqm bedroom instead of the 1.5hp Ugair-12001? saw on page 1 that the 1hp is as powerful as the 1.5hp of other brand. 2 adults lang, no other electronic devices.

No issues naman sa online sellers. But to be on the safe side, you can actually ask to see yung accreditation nila from Gree. Or in the case of nung bumili ako ng KX-35i ko, I asked for proof na legit aircon company sila.

Yung dalawang 2hp Unitech namin sa Bacolod office ay mag-3 years na and still going strong. If installed right, buying a Unitech ST is such a worth it investment. Finding a good installer is the key to this! Yung 2 units namin napa-install ko sa authorized Gree technician for only 4.5k each. Laki ng natipid namin sa totoo lang.

Yes! Kaya naman nya. But be sure that your room is well insulated so that the unit can hindi mahihirapan yung unit.

Union UGAIR-12001-INV
Almost 5 yrs lang since Homemate HGWT-I-100R was installed, mapapalitan na sya.
*Halos walang patayan.

If you're looking for legit reviews ng TCL WT aircon, look no further than kompressor himself. PM mo na lang siya for any questions that you may have.

I'm pleasantly surprised that your Gree-oem aircon lasted 5 years with little incident. Need nyo malamang magpagawa ng something to protect your wall from the afternoon sun as it will reduce heat and prolong your new aircon's life. =)

@Godai_Yusaku:
Kolin KAG-110RSINV muna from March 2016, then May 2018 nagloko bigla after ko linisin, kaya binili ko yung Homemate HGWT-I-100R.

TCL looks tempting
950w yung basic 1HP TCL model compared to a 1HP Koppel na 750w. TCL costs 27k+ versus Koppel's 30k+.
Both are inverter-types though yung TCL standard inverter lang daw, then yung Koppel tier 3 inverter. (parang ssd lang, gen1 v gen 3 hhe)
not sure about sa wattage if magkakaroon talaga ng big difference in terms of Meralco savings.
any insights on this masters?

those are on maximum power input on paper probably paps.
my daikin d-smart 1.5hp said on paper @ 420W minimum, 960W max. but it can run @ 145~150W while on high @ 1,000W+
so technically hindi talaga constant ang power draw nila(any brand). the key is set your temps properly. with ambient/outside temps going 34°C or beyond, then set your temp lower than 25°C?,,,,, expect your power draw to exceed 1,000W++
sa TCL ako paps.

Just finished reading the guides on page 1 (Thank you to the TS TBW) and started checking for best options. Leaning towards the Kolin KAG145WCINV considering the price @27K for 1.5HP. However, I did also see the Fabriano FWE12GWIC @23K also for 1.5HP.
Basing on the guides, both are rebadged GREEs. The most visible difference affecting the price seems to be that the Kolin has wifi. There are some differences in the printed details:
Kolin
Horsepower 1.5 HP
Cooling Capacity 13210 kJ/h (3960-14300)
Rated Power 1140 W (300-1280)
CSPF Rating 4.45
Fabriano
Horsepower 1.5 HP
Cooling Capacity 12599 kJ/h
Rated Power 1120 Watts
CSPF Rating 4.59
Si Kolin also indicates full DC inverter while si Fabriano only says Inverter technology. The only other notable detail is that the Kolin has blue fins, no idea about the fabriano. To be safe, I checked on Fabriano and it's an Italian brand better known for their cooking appliances.
Which would be the better choice? Looking to replace an aging Panasonic 1.5HP standard aircon.

The salesperson was lying through his teeth. Always have them show numbers kapag ganun ang banat lalo kapag wattage. Hehehe.
As for yung Tier 3 inverter daw, he was likely trying to tell you na full-DC na yung sa kanila - DC fan motor, DC compressor, and DC control module. More marketing bullshit since ganun na din yung TCL na sinisiraan nya.

Both are based off the Gree GJ-09-6DR which is a compact full-DC inverter aircon. Yes the only advantage of the Kolin is the wifi adapter. It's available for 26k sa Welcome Home Appliances btw. Now if you don't really need the wifi control feature, just get the Fujidenzo or Fabriano rebadged units.
