PLDT FIBR with Router question

  Good morning masters,
  
  planning to buy this router - TP-Link Archer AX23 AX1800 Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 Router | Wifi 6 | TPLink to use with my pldt fibr.
  
  question, noob friendly ba mag config? kaya ko kaya mag isa?
  
  the goal is to expand the wifi coverage for my wife's laptop when she does her work upstairs. I use my desktop for work wired to the modem that comes with the fibr subscription. its wifi, on the other hand, disconnects every now and then. I was advised to purchase a router for better and stable wifi connection.
