I know that H110M motherboards are meant for entry level only but my cousin sold me his i7 7700 for 5k pesos and I just couldn't resist not buying it hehe. I have already updated my motherboard's BIOS and have already been using the i7 for about a week now. I'm not a complete novice on pc building but I'm just kind of confused and was looking to seek some clarifications.
The specific motherboard I'm using is the MSI H110M PRO-VH and according to MSI's website and the spec sheet it only supports RAM up to 2133mhz. Right now I'm also currently using a HyperX Fury 1x8gb 2133mhz. What I'm confused about is that the i7 7700 is able to support up to 2400mhz but my motherboard only supports up to 2133mhz. I'm planning on buying a 16gb 3200mhz of RAM since I also plan on eventually upgrading a few years from now and will use this RAM on my future build.
I know for a fact that it won't run at 3200mhz given the motherboard and the CPU's limitations, but will it be running at 2133mhz or at 2400mhz? Is it fine to use 3200mhz RAM even if it's not supported since it will just automatically downclock to the appropriate speed? Lastly, since this is kind of an old CPU and motherboard will there be a significant difference if I were to get 1x16gb vs 2x8gb?

yes it will just run @2133Mhz even if they are 3200mhz rams.. auto downclock

Naka integrated graphics ba yung PC niyo? Kung integrated graphics, shared yung system RAM so meron naka allocate na VRAM para sa GPU kaya nabawasan yung 8GB.

OC to? we have the same RAM paps, XMP enabled lang ako to run it @ 3600.
hindi mo rin naman na mapapansin in real world computing yan kahit i-OC mo pa, excess heat lang sa RAM imo.

Just want to jump in on this. Ganito din hanap ko for a future build. Use case is I do a bit of Adobe stuff that involves large file sizes (42MP) I'm actually not sure if 32GB Ram would help though, and I should probably just go for a good scratch disk haha.
Edit: 32Gb lang pala need ko not 64 lol. Still open for suggestions though.

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows good 2x16GB 3600 B-Die kits that are readily available locally? Shopping for RAM for a 5950x. Haven't been able to find any good SKUs on Lazada/Shopee (since I prefer to pay via CC)
okay ba yung skihotar na brand for RAM? May nakita kasi ako sa LZD tas mas mura siya sa mga brands na alam ko (kingston/hyperx/gskill/crucial/corsair etc) so I was thinking na ito na lang bilhin ko pero I've never heard of the brand kaya nagaalangan ako lol
Hi mga master, may alam po ba kayong Sodimm na 2rx8 dual rank 3200Mhz 1.2v? Wala po kasi sa spec sheets ng mga seller hindi nila masabi kung 1rx8, 1rx16, or 2rx8 yung mga benta nila.
I have APU 5650g and thinking if overclocking my ram would have a huge impact on APU. di ko alam if worth ung pag OC sa ram, need advise before doing a lot of research.
