  • hi ask mga pre... sinu naka steelseries h wireless sa inyu? un dobly surround kasi need may displayport pra magamit... kht ba walang displayport ok sounds?
  • @ mamba024

Hehe. Un steelseries dongle may displayport.
  • may user ba dito ng edifier studio 7 (R2700) sulit ba siya para sa price nya na 5.7k
  • previous owner ako ng edifier r2700 wala naman ako masabi feeling ko sulit naman siya sa price kaya lang for critical listening parang mas gusto ko pa rin ang creative t40 series II.
  • ^

Oo nga boss, my friend owns r2700, ako naman t40 series 2... Mas okay para sa akin SQ ng t40...

  • Ayos tong ATH-M50 ramdam ko difference sa Siberia V2. Mas ganda nito sigurado pag may amp/dac.
  • @ nicdsgn

Visit the TPC headfi group for the best dac/amp deals for your budget.

Sa sahod ko, there's a high chance na bumili ako ng Chord Mojo DAC as my portable DAC/Amp that complements my Analog Devices R2R desktop DAC para incredible sound on the go.
  • ok bang ipa-mod ko na lang yung Swans HIVI M10 ko kesa bumili pa ako ng higher tier products of Swans?

may nakita kasi ako dito sa TPC na magaling mag-MOD ng earphone/speakers (20watts above) and headphone.

  • Just got my new rig last week and I'm completing my peripherals. I need some advice as to what would complement my rig for the speakers, something like a mini home theater for my bedroom. It will be mostly for music vids, movies, and gaming. Budget range 5-8k. I hope you guys can provide comparisons and alternatives, and what to consider when buying one.

    Here's my rig:

    CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0-4.20GHz
    Mobo: MSI Z170A Tomahawk
    RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB 2x8GB DDR4 3200
    SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
    ODD: Asus DVD-RW
    HDD: 2TB WD Blue
    GPU: Palit Jetsream GTX 970 4GB GDDR5
    PSU: Seasonic M12II-850 EVO
    ATX Case: Tecware Alpha
    Mon: Dell U2414H 24-inch LED IPS 1920*1080
HSF: ID Cooling Frostflow 240L Liquid Cooling

(Off topic: Is the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum available now in our country? If so, where could I buy one? I checked with Dynaq**st, PC**b, and PCwo**x, but they don't have it yet.)

    Thanks!
  • @pinoy_freelancer

with your budget, consider the Swans HiVi D1080-IV 2.0. if you could increase your budget to over 10+k, consider an Audioengine A2+ or PSB Alpha PS1. ;)
  • @DTNS

Thanks sa suggestions sir. Mukhang maganda yung Audioengine A2+.

Okay ba sir yung may edifier at subwoofer na speakers? Meron ba nun kahit sa pc i-plug? Ano ma suggest nyo sir 10k na budget.
  • @pinoy_freelancer

Although above your budget, also check out Swans HiVi M50W for Php 12K

Ayos! Ganda nito sir! This will surely complement sa table at furniture dito sa loob ng bedroom. Thank you ulit sir!
  • the way i understand it, when you say Home Theater it should be like 5.1 setup, so Sir pinoy_freelancer, ano ang need nyo for your budget? a 5.1 Home Theater speaker set or a 2.1 Stereo speaker set?

my advice for you would be the like of Devant, Xenon to name a few for a 5.1 Home Theater speaker set that fits your budget, but im just wondering you manage to spend so much on your computer components so why not jack up your budget to get a more deserving 5.1 HT Speaker set that would compliment your Rig...
  • @pinoy_freelancer

Ako personally I would move away from the 5.1 setups unless may dedicated home theater room or living area where you can space the rear speakers very well at may magandang acoustics. Nag try ako dati ng Logitech Z-5300 5.1 speakers na THX certified kuno and was very unhappy with the sound. Sa games ok lang dahil all the boom and sound effects were there, but they sound so-so lang sa music and movies.

If you will be watching movies on a small screen (like a PC monitor) where the speakers will be closer together, mas ok na mag 2-channel or 2.1 system na maganda ang quality. Or you can also go with high quality headphones para hindi maistorbo ang loved ones mo while sleeping :-)

Another option, kung mostly music ang pinapakinggan mo... is to go with a good pair of bookshelf speakers then pair with an affordable digital amplifier. Here's an example:

SMSL Q5 PRO (DAC and amplifier in one) = Php 7K (estimated)

    <click here for link>

then pair with an affordable bookshelf speaker like this:

Aurum Cantus F5000R (Bookshelf) = Php 5.5K per pair (estimated)

    <click here for link>

Just add affordable speaker cables and ready to play na sila. In the future pag may extra budget ka na, you can add a subwoofer to get more bass punch.

BTW it does not have to be the Aurum Cantus speakers, sample lang yun hehe! Madaming affordable bookshelf speaker options ngayon. Take a look at A-Audio Abel Series (locally made), JBL Loft series, Mission MV2, Polk Audio M10. Those speakers are priced around Php 5K ~ Php 7K a pair. Kailangan mo lang ng small amplifier that can power those speakers and add some speaker cable. Pwede mo lagyan ng speaker stands or mount sa walls ng bedroom para less space ang occupied :-)
  • @pinoy_freelancer

Audio for music, movies and gaming are different especially for movies that are THX certified kung yun talaga habol mo, then same sa gaming na gumagamit ng multiple audio channels (depende sa game) at sa music naman ay depende per genre.

Yung Logitech Z623 2.1 THX for PHP6770 is a good choice

Personally, I opted sa 2.0 bookshelf speakers na Creative Gigaworks T20 Series 2 para mas malinis ng konti. Satisfied naman ako sa tunog nya but I might upgrade to:

    Swans HiVi M100 MKII 2.0 - PHP10240
