  • @jopat
wala naman akong sinabing void ang warranty, on which part?

ang linaw kaya ng sinabi ko hahaha:
"Matalino din sila kasi siningil nila ako kahit may warranty pa."

I just happen to misplaced the receipt of my S5 during the 6th month then all of a sudden na sira yung sim card reader.

  • @ralphjay_alpha

  • Not necessarily kailangan ng router.

Well it's optional but highly recommended more so since you have the crappy baudtec modem.
Yes if you have your own Wifi Router then bridging the modem is the best choice.
You need to bridge the modem for the ff reasons
Avoid double NAT setup(google double NAT)
PLDT's modems suck at being a Wifi router and modem at the same time and are better off bridged to avoid a performance penalty.
That baudtec modem in particular is prone to slowdown, overheating and hangups according to people who asked me for a bridge mode guide.

  • ^Sir can you please provide me a guide on how to bridge the modem? Thank you very much.

How so, bro?
  • From what I know PLDT provided wifi modems are,

isang baudtec(with IPTV and standard variant)
    Isang Zyxel
    Dalawang Prolink
    Dalawang speedsurf
    Isang kasda

If I have to name a few then wifi disconnections, ping spikes, lack of features and in the case of baudtec overheating and hang ups.

Now I said optional but highly recommended so if the modem works for the person then that's great if not then bridge it and use his/her own Wifi Router.

I might be lucky for not experiencing any of these. But then my Baudtec is stored diagonally, it's partially slanted on top of my old cdrk wifi. And my electric fan is always steady. It's been with me for over a year now but have yet to experience any of these, probably due to my setup.
May nangyari ba?
Pwede mo sila kasuhan.

    @Jopat
Nope you can't, huwag mo na ipilit na pwede yung ginawa mo, it is in their terms and condition:

    Quote:
"To obtain warranty protection, notice of the alleged defects must be given promptly upon discovery by presenting the alleged defective product and this warranty card or the dated proof of purchase (tax invoice / receipt) to our authorized service personnel at the time of service."

    On the last part:
Samsung reserves the right to charge a service fee for out of warranty repair or service of any nature and shall not be deemed liable if the conditions are not met.

Couldn't take a simple joke bro? LOL

Mga 3rd or last week pa yan ng February.
  • ^
dapat yung mga titanium subscribers e yun ang inuuna for upgrades. baka lang wala pa schedule sa area nyo kasi ang CSZ is the one who determines it depending on titanium subscriber base in their area

Anung titanium na copper? Ang classified lang as titanium account is Fibr plan 2899 and above. Do you mean copper plan 3000 and 1995? If so, 80% na po ang upgraded sa plan 3000 and 1995 copper, 15mbps and 8mbps respectively.

    Note:
Titanium account = accounts that can access technical support on 1013427 Fibr hotline, hindi yung subscribers na sobrang tagal na or loyal sa PLDT.

Basahin mo ulit yung post mo.

Couldn't take a simple joke bro? LOL

Mag joke ka sa kabiruan mo. Otherwise you're just a flamebaiter.

mga sir Off Topic na po tayo :)

May di maka pag move on sa warranty hahaha

Anyways, sa mga naka Powered by Fibr 999 na gusto mag upgrade to Power Plus Plan 2899 Fibr, just got a word last week that you can now upgrade directly to Fibr 2899, na lift na yung hold nila for existing DSL subs at hindi na limited to new subscribers lang yung 2899, existing copper plan 999 subs can also upgrade.

    @jopat
Endorsement letter serves as a proof of purchase dahil indicated doon kung kailan na issue sa telco subscribers yung unit.

    On topic:
Yung mga speed profile ng Plan999 nire-ready na. Malamang sabay-sabay nila ie-enable ang upgrade, per area. Almost 2 weeks na ako sa 54xx kbps, pero actual speed is still 3mbps. Paminsan-minsan may frequent disconnection.

Weh? Tapos sasabihin mo din na bawal yun at pwede mo silang "kasuhan" kahit nakasaad sa terms and condition na they will not be liable if the conditions aren't met? Mamaru talaga.

    Back to topic:
Yung copper DSL po ng cousing ko taga Pasig ay upgraded na into 5mbps, read my post few pages back.
  • @jairus24
