Ano po magandang router and switches ngayon for diskless setup, yung hindi rin po kamahalan.

    Salamat
  • Hi guys,

Question lang pwede ba akong magpatulong mag setup ng Prolink h5004n router from PLDT. TIA
  • Is the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) has lesser routing/processing? I notice newer fiber optic modem (ONU) is much cooler, less congested and less likely to fail now than copper DSL modem in my observation.
  • Can someone share their printing price ranges, i. e. black & White & Colored printing. or give me the page link regarding this topic..TIA

  • @thon_33 not sure if there's an existing thread for that, probably for lan shop owners. kung wala, i think it's worth creating a thread for, and will be helpful :)
  • Good morning All!

:( Ano kaya prob?

    Thanks in advance po!

I need lang some tips on how to divide bandwidth.
    * Priority FTP and RDP connection

    1 Mbps for FTP
1 Mbps for Remote Desktop to US
    2 Mbps for internet browsing

ang gamit naming router ay CISCO Small Business WRVS4400N Wireless-N Gigabit Security Router with VPN

    Thanks for any replies.

  • @subsistence

  • @jrpm

yung mga dell powerconnect gigabit switches na meron dito sa TPC is morethan enough for diskless setups. enterprise grade na kasi to sa switch. for router, kung tipid kahit yung tplink 480+ pwede na

Yup.

Bago upgrade Internet namin, binigyan ako all in one wifi router. Meron din ako hiwalay na wifi router.

Na bridge ko na yung all in one router na galing sa ISP. May internet na yung sarili kong wifi router.

Question ko eto. Dynamic pa kasi Now.

Salamat sa sasagot sa noob question ko.
  • @learning_mode

From what ive read before sa pldt biz static ip, they used dynamic pppoe and naka bind sa account yung ip.
If your isp uses the modem's mac address in your case then spoofing the modem's mac might work.

    also what isp btw

its skybroadband. Im currently subscribed to their new 50mbps plan and their static IP.

  • try to spoof the pc mac address to the tp link or yes pa register mo yung mac ng tp link

sakto mac address ng pc ang naka bind so pede to

may gigabit router ako and to extend my connection papunta sa 2nd floor gumamit ako ng gigabit switch
problem: nasa 10 mbps lang transfer speed ko kapag dumaan sa switch yung link, example: PC1 is connected to the router and PC2 is connected to the switch, the switch is connected to the router. data transfer from PC1 to PC2 and viceversa ay 10 mb/s lang.

    PC1 ==> router ==> switch ==> PC2 speed: 10mb/s
    PC1 ==> router ==> PC3 speed: 100mb/s
    PC2 ==> switch ==> PC4 speed: 100mb/s

Kaso di ko pa ma-test problem mo since wala pa ako gigabit router.
  • @blu
