and the Gateway IP Address is the IP of your router

BTW. PLDT yung net namin

Depende talaga to sa config ng IT niyo.
  • Guys. Pa recommend naman ng cheap high range router that supports speeds of up to 100Mbps. Thanks!
  • @all

Guys I need your help.

And when I try to access the setup page nung wifi repeater hindi ko na siya maaccess but if I type the IP address of the main router yun ang naaaccess ko kahit na connected ako sa repeater.

    Any idea regarding this?

i-factory reset mo yung extender then set mo yung static ip ng wifi extender.

Meron po ako 1 modem then tatlong 3 router.
    Ganito po setup ko,
    Router 1 to Modem
    Router 2 to Router 1
    Router 3 to Router 2
  • ^

  • may ganito po bang software or router?

ngayon gusto namin ma-trace sino malakas magdownload

  • @dexski,

    baka may ibang paraan?

  • @junt

Pag panay youtube.

    Tnx and advance.
Option mo is to use 3rd party firmware.
I'm using gargoyle where you can assign quota for each IP or IP range.
Option either to throttle down or block internet once quota is reached.
Quota can be reset either hourly, daily, or monthly.

Hindi namin ma-access yung dynamic DNS namin, parating time out. Kahit 80 sarado.

Anyone having the same problem?

If may makatulong pwede tayo mag-PM ^_^ Salamat in advanced!

    Router: ASUS RT-AC66U modded to DD-WRT Firmware:DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/23/15) giga
    Dynamic DNS: no-ip.com
PLDT setup: 5mbps HomeDSL Using Baudtec RN243R4

  • PLDT setup:

kung ako sir, tanong ko muna sa PLDT, baka may ginagawa na naman sila. same with Globe may mga pagbabago silang ginagawa.
  • @habble,

seems may ginagawa si PLDT sir. ganyan din ung akin. dun mismo sa modem, ang range ng IP ay 100.x.x.x , pro kapag nag access ka ng whatismyip.com, ang range ng IP is 124.x.x.x . walang masagot sa akin si PLDT nung time na tumawag ako. seems na parang naka proxy ung traffic for HTTP. not sure kung ano ung ginagawa ng PLDT regarding that.
  • I see.

    Ano kaya? Patulong naman! :)

Any suggestions para mabago? I already tried portforwarding pero hindi gumagana or may mali akong ginagawa. Thanks in advance.
  • ^welcome to the CGNAT club.

to fix it, they said dapat naka fibr ka? but I highly doubt that, eventually ma migrate din ang mga fiber users later on.
Or maybe just wait a little longer baka mag offer din ang PLDT for static IP addon or something sa residential users.
Thanks

  • @royale

set mo sa bridge mode yung second router mo or just disable DHCP sa 2nd router mo tapos connect mo yung ethernet cable in LAN side (not WAN) tapos dun sa main router mo kabit mo din sya sa LAN side.

    @gradius

    depends on this things:

    - how congested your 2,4ghz in your area
    - your devices capability, eg, their processing speed and the wifi chipset they were using

so in case that someone connect to your AP using a old device, like a phone that still uses Wireless G or even the el-cheapo ones that uses Wireless B, it will drastically drop your WiFi speed, Internet or local traffic, from 11 to 54mbps instead of 450mbps. etc etc etc....

in short, hindi reliable ang speed sa wireless, kahit pa na advertised speed nyan eh ganyan, no one in real life use ever manage to reach that speed, maybe dun sa testing facility ng manufacturer naabot nila yan.
