afaik, high powered wifi is regulated by NTC now. so mahihirapan ka na makanap ng mga high power wifi ngayun.

What router fits in our home? We have a PLDT HomeDSl Plan 999 at 5mbps.
PC's for gaming MMORPG's and smartphones mostly use facebook, twitter, youtube.

Hi question lang, i got this idea, not sure kung worth it itry o hinde. Since di maapprovan ung 2nd line nmin for PLDT, iniiisip ko magpatulay ng UTP cable from our computer shop to our house around 50 meters i think? Abot p nman wifi signal kaso almost no bar na, was thinking kung gagamit nman ako ngextender, parang wala din since pag sinara ung shop mabblock lalo ung signal.

Cisco Small Business like SG 300 series, or better SG 500 series

+1
Though indoor+ pvc pipe or flexible conduit would also work well siguro less years nga lang.
At that length go for copper cables wag yung murang CCA.

I can think of 3 things that 'might' be happening there.
1) those two device have the same static IP address (169.254.24.7) -- solution: change one of them
2) you don't have a dhcp server on your network, and those two devices are computing the same APIPA address, hence both have the same IP -- it will automatically fix it self, provided that if the APIPA logic on those devices changes the computed IP whenever it encounters a conflict
3) it's just a default IP upon boot-up and you can safely ignore it as the device will get an actual IP from your dhcp server. -- although it will come back to #2 when you don't have a dhcp server

boss, have you tried the shared printer feature? I immediately upgraded to ddwrt firmware because of slow read/write(800-900KBps) on my external usb HD using the stock firmware, naging 2MBps after ddwrt. then nung test ko na sana yung printer(ddwrt firmware) ayaw gumana. :(
