hi sirs,
hingi lang po ako ng tulong kasi hindi ako maka connect sa net due to "DNS server not responding".
PLDT home fiber modem po yung kinakabitan ko. yung LAN 1 for TV yung LAN4 nakakonek yung isang switch for PCs's then I tried to connect my PC to LAN3 pero di makaconnect due to DNS Server not responding. nagtataka lang ako bakit ung mga pc na naka connect sa switch which is connected to LAN4 nakakapag net naman...?

rovill,
sir, paki-check kung naka-automatic yung lan properties or naka-static/hardcoded na yung pc na ikinakabit mo sa modem/router.

Mga sir, tanong ko lang po if ano okay dito.
TPLink AC750 Archer C2 or TPLink TL-WR841HP or TPLink TL-WR940N
May plan din gamitin in the near future sa PS4 yung router.
Or baka may iba pa po kayong ma suggest na may bandwidth control na router, budget up to 3k po. Thanks

^ get the most expensive of the three if you can't discern between them the features you need/want
have you tried looking on the specs? what do you need/want? based on what is written on there, there 750, 300, and 450Mbps respectively (the 750 is dual channel, 300+450), check the number of antenna (or network stream), etc.etc... it's not *that* hard. but if you don't want to waste precious braincell, as i've said above, get the most expensive, since all are TPlink, most likely they all have the same functionality, the difference is just the hardware.
EDIT:
as for 'other suggestions', I would suggest *any* router that can support tomato/dd-wrt/openwrt as these firmware would make your consumer-class router on the side of enterprise-class, but if you can't even pick on those routers, opensource firmwares would be a nightmare for you -- btw, all three routers you mentioned supports dd-wrt/openwrt, so really, any of those would do, it will just depend on *your* preference/needs/wants

^opensource firmwares on new routers today is in grim as of new FCC rule to close all their routers from 3rd party firmwares. As well as other manufacturers like D-link, Asus, Netgear etc....
if those routers are still on their old revision firmwares, there's a big change that they can load up a 3rd party firmware on it, else, there's no way you can install 3rd party firmware on it, at least without getting access a JTAG level access to the CPU, TTL wont cut it since they also closed the CFE as well.
edit:
tp-link bandwidth limiter wont solve your latency issues, you need a some sort of advance QoS functionality, tomato got a robust QoS system, heck the bandwidth limiter on tomato is based on PRIQ so not only you bandwidth limit the users but also you can take them a priority level. If im not mistaken, I can max out the upload speed in DSL (PLDT, 750kbit/sec usual max upload speed) wihtout any getting high latency.

Hi Sir Polka,
Can you give me some tips on how to set QOS on my tomato flashed router E1200 linksys.
I did include the ports that I want to have high priorities but when I enable QOS all games po is high latency like 1000 ping.
Can you share po the settings and I need to do?
Thank you

Aside from TP-Link, do you think Asus own software won't fix the latency issue when it comes to online games + shared (via wifi) network?
If so can you please recommend a router that support tomato/dd-wrt/openwrt with a budget of 5k. Thanks!
