  is there a way to access the WAN settings page of the ZTE ZXHN H108N V2.5? I got it from Globe broadband and I want to set it to bridge mode to use my own router... Can't find the settings after logging in. Any help is appreciated!

  Ano kaya magandang option para maconnect ko yung dalawang office namin magkahiwalay kasi sila ng lugar tapos pareho silang may magkaibang WAN connection.

  Mga masters, nakabili ako ng Asus RT AC1200G+ router ok ba ito? kanina lang nahalukay ko meron pala ako Linksys E3000 router na nasa bodega na sealed pa, ano mas ok sa dalawa?

  Sir patulong lang (already posted sa kabilang forum for network din).
  Planning to build an infra from scratch pa enlighten lang.
  
  35 users only.
  
  Here is my actual plan,
  2 ISP -->PFsensebox (Failover setup w/ other firewall setup) --> Core switch --> Server/ AP's /Clients.
  
  1. Have basic knowledge in AD DS.
  2. Have basic knowledge in File Server
  
  Questions:
  1. Enough na ba yung AD DS and File Server sa isang infra?
  2. Okay lang ba dun ko sa core switch isama yung plan kong AD DS at FS?

  change it instead to a MikroTik RB951Ui-2HnD, then kuha ka ng Layer 2 Smart or Managed Switch.
  
  answers sa questions:
  1. nope, kumuha ka nalang ng NAS, kahit WD EX2 o EX4 pwede na.
  2. yes dapat. anong switch ang plano iimplement o ilagay?

  Salamat sa input sir. Pass muna ako kay Ubiquiti, itong dalawa muna pagpilian ko. Any recommendation king ano maganda sa dalawa? Old model na si E3000, si RTAC1200G+ recent model.

  PC sana paglalagyan ng sana irepurpose installan ng FreeNAS OS.
  
  as for security gamit ka ng quad9 DNS 9.9.9.9
  
  LAN DNS by default sa AD/DS magresolve.
  
  if you want to manage, control and filter users by category sa DNS gamit ka pi-Hole or NXFilter.
  (lalo sa mga bossing na "gusto ko block fb, block youtube, etc..)
  
  at the end of the day lagyan mo PRTG for monitoring and report generation.

  guys, limited lang ang knowledge ko when it comes to networking.
  
  balak kong bumili ng dlink 16port manage switch para sa office... kaso wala pala etong WAN port... technically, mag work ba kung iplug-in ko yung internet router directly sa isang port ng switch?

  cisco router/WIFi <--- WAN port --- PLDT cisco router ---> iGate modem

  Kung yung box ng pf ko e repurpose what will be my router and firewall? Through VM nalang ba?
  Medyo nalito ako:
  
  2 ISP-->PF VM (Quad9 as DNS) w/ FreeNAS VM (Quad9 as DNS) -->Core switch-->AD DS
  
  Sorry kung sound stupid, pero okay lang willing to learn more!

  i don't like my firewall/router under the same bare metal or inside a vm especially along side a nas server. if your network bugs down everything goes down with it.

  just remove the pfsense and replace it with a MikroTik Router.
  
  your 2 ISP --> MikroTik RB951Ui-2HnD (set as Load Balance at sayang ang binabayad monthly kung hindi actively ginagamit) --> Core Managed Switch --> servers (AD/DS with local DNS, FreeNAS, Pi-Hole/NX Filter, PRTG, etc..) and clients.
  
  if you could find MikroTik hEX (RB750Gr3), that would be much much better.
  
  

  pfbox sana paglalagyan ng pfsense irepurpose at installan ng FreeNAS OS.

  
  BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP
  if may extra pang budget request ka ng 2 pieces 1Tb USB 3.0 Portable HDD, iwasan ang Elements at Elements SE yung pinakacheap, Passport ang bilhin.
  isa backup ka every week bago mag weekend, isa naman every 15/30.
  
  request kana rin ng:
  -Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
  -magandang klaseng extension cord or Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
  -at proper Grounding
  
  the purpose of your managed switch, using VLANs is to separate and isolate the networks of the IP Telephones, CCTV Feeds, IP Cameras, Time Attendance, Biometrics and Access Control, HR computers, Finance computers, Guest wifi networks, secured company network.
  
  then saka mo iintegrate ang Access Control Rules or Lists:
  (sinong may access, sino pwede, sino hindi pwede maka access sa ganito ganyan)
  using the Firewall or Using the Managed switch.

  mag rerequest nalang ako ng Fortinet or any branded Firewalls, practice ng skills duon. good to have ang hire-able skill on most multi-national companies.
  
  balak mo mag abroad, that'll be great item sa CV.
  
  at the end of the day, client security pagtuunan mo ng pansin, that's why I recommended to deploy Endpoint Security sa private message.
  
  make sure fully documented rin lahat para pag aalis kana para sa higher pay company hindi pahirapan sa pagha-hire ng replacement at handover.

  Hello po pahelp naman ako. Kakatapos ko lang magsetup ng Windows Server 2016 namin.
  May Internet naman ang server ang problema yung mga clients connected wala sila internet.
  Eto nga pala yung screenshot ng connection settings ng client na wala internet. Ano po ba dapat ko gawin dito?

  and ba purpose ng WS mo? AD lang ba sya or meron din firewall?
  if solely for AD, DHCP and DNS lang sya, well you need to edit your DHCP server setting for your default gateway to your router's IP address.

  mga sir question po.
  
  i have unifi tough switch POE, cloud key and 2 uapLR. pag sineset up ko na and andun na ko sa entering unifi cloud key user pass, nagkakaroon siya ng error na unable to connect to unifi cloud. please check your network connection and try again.
  
  i was using a tplink router, pldt fibr (onu modem/fiber) and those gadgets from unifi. naka static na ung unifi cloud key.
  
  me mali pa po ba sa setup ko?

  hi sir im looking for a good alternative for our linksys e1200 router palaging kasing nag hahang need ng restart pra ma restore ung connection.
  
  -preferably can support 30-50 wifi devices without hanging.
  - at-least 2 lan ports is fine.
  -can be configured with management Ip (optional)
  - single wan port is fine but if you can recommend 2 much better.
  -below 7k php ung price range.
  
  and yes only looking for single router/(wifi dual band) dedicated ap is not an option.

  ano po ba configuration ko sa mga IP nila para ma close lang yung mga co connect sa IP address ng mga router.
  yung TP link 1.1 - 1.4 mga router din sila connected sa TPLINK1.
