  Mga sir, question lang about sa Network Cable Tracker, ano kayang ibig sabihin kapag nagbi-blink lang yung light indicator sa Scan/Test? Tapos hindi rin siya tumutunog pag tinututok sa network cable. Tnry na rin namin ire-crimp, wala pa rin. Ito yung ginagamit naming Network Cable Tracker.

  na isolate mo na ba ang problema sa testing sa maikling (1-3mtr) patch cable? meron o walang tunog?

  na-try na namin sir. nag try din kami ng ibang network cable tapos gumupit kami ng 2 wire sa gitna nung, kasi iniisip namin baka may naputol lang sa gitna ng wire kaya hindi siya tumutunog at nagbi-blink lang. ganon pa rin siya. ni-recrimp na rin namin to A & B.

  May nag-regalo sa akin ng Ubiquiti NanoHD AP. I don't know if it's worth installing. My current setup is PLDT Fibr 25mbps connected to a Mi Router 3 as main router then connected to a Tenda router to increase range. May improvement ba coverage area pag ginamit ko ito?

  if that's the case sira yan you have 3 options:
  1.) dalhin at ipagawa sa electronics technician
  2.) palitan ng cheap toner and probe ulit (P1,500 to P3,000)
  3.) palitan ng totoong Tools Fluke Pro3000 Analog Tone and Probe (P5,000-P8,000) or much better Fluke IntelliTone Pro 200 LAN Toner, Tracer & Probe (P16,500 to P18,000)

  bentahe lang jan stable, reliable signal compared sa mga consumer devices at eye candy na WebUi that will depende on your running Unifi server sa PC, sa cloud or sa Cloud Key. if you get another one pwede mag seamless roaming ang mga devices hindi siya mag stuck sa access point na mahina ang signal pag lumipat ka ng ibang lugar sa bahay.

  Eyy guys just bought last month Xiaomi Mi Router 4A (AC1200) non gigabit version. I have 100Mbps internet connection from Sky hindi ako nakakakuha ng 100Mbps from Speedtest mostly 80 to 90 lang if 5Ghz and 50 to 60 sa 2.4Ghz pero kung LAN ay 90 to 95Mbps. Dahil kaya ito sa non-gigabit na router ko? Before kasi 450N lang yung router namin and hindi pa naka free speedboost 50Mbps lang yung plan before so ok lang yun, ngayon I want to get 100Mbps everywhere sa house and yung 5Ghz ay napaka hina ng signal and unreliable linkspeed pa minsan bumababa ng 190 to 300Mbps which cause high ping in game. Btw nasa kabilang room ako and nasa kabila naman yung modem & 5Ghz router.
  
  Planning to buy a mesh wifi lagay ko yung isa sa room ko and yung main naman ay dun kung saan ang modem and yung last one is para sa 2nd floor namin. TP-Link Deco M4 or M5 sana bibilhin ko which one is better? Deco E4 sana 3pack for 4,500 Php compare to those 2 na nasa 9,000 and 11,500 respectively kaso 100Mbps lang pla yun hindi gigabit baka may pa free speedboost nmn after 3yrs ayoko na bumili ulit ng mesh wifi.

  kung 100mbps ung port ni router from modem, hanggang 100mbps lang makukuha na internet (through wifi/wired). Ung wifi N speeds (ung 300mbps MAX) para lang within your network. If kelangan mo more than 100mbps LAN/Internet speeds, dapat gigabit router nabili mo.
  
  Due to tech limitations, mas ok na 5GHz (wifi N or AC) pag 100mbps pataas ung internet nyo.

  Good day po mga maam/sir, magtatanong lang po ako tungkol sa mga wifi repeater.
  
  Pwede ko ba makuha ang ip/mac address ng repeater through network lang? Kung hindi posible, may ibang way pa po ba bukod sa pagtingin sa mismong device? Pwede ko bang i-limit yung bandwidth na nakukuha ng wifi repeater?

  ^you are asking a general question regarding sa repeater so depende sa gamit mo kung supported ang management or plug and play limited access lang.
  
  pag yung tplink binili mo may management interface siya tulad ng ibang mga Wireless router/access point.
  
  Answer 1: download ka ng Fing o kaya naman Wifiman pwede mascan buong subnet at makikita mga connected devices sa network. Will not work if naka enable AP isolation sa wireless.
  
  pag sa desktop or laptop download ka ng wnetwatcher
  
  Answer 2: yung nakukuha ng wifi repeater pwede may IP naman yan then i-static lease IP-MAC binding mo sa DHCP server then apply ka ng bandwidth limits.

  baka meron na natry..
  PS4 connected to LAN2 ni PLDT ( OPEN po lahat ng PLDT LAN port ko), pero bakit lagi message sa PS4 is LAN disconnected, but if pinadaan ko sa isang router ok naman si PS4
  * PLDT LAN2 > Ubiquiti AirCube LAN3 > PS4 --- OK ang connection sa PS4 walang LAN disconnected issue
  * PLDT LAN2 > PS4 ---- NG lagi LAN disconnected issue.
  Saan kaya problem
  
  kaya ko gusto is direct sa PLDT LAN2 kasi madalas bigla tumataas ang ping sa FORTNITE game
  naka 50mbps na po.

  Main router is in the 9th floor, I wan to reach my wifi in the ground floor,which is open, balak ko ilabas yung AP sa 9th floor balcony.
  Balak ko lang ilabas yung AP balak ko lang extend sa ground. Ok lang siguro yung wifi N basta mahaba range, baka kasi mahal na yung AC

  ^that depends on your usage and needs.
  
  if Fiber Optic internet connection niyo at mahilig mag Netflix, Youtube mga gagamit in that area sa ground buffering katapat niyan sa 2.4GHZ Wifi N unahan yan sila sa wifi lanes since it is a shared resource.
  
  i-aaccount mo pa duon mga wifi ng kapitbahay pag marami "noisy" at gumagamit sila at the same time on the same channel ng wifi expect a dismal experience.
  
  best option is wired connection from the 9th floor papunta sa ground.

  gagawin ko lang sya kapag mag work ako, homebased kasi ako and hirap mag work kapag may mga kids
  Im looking for long range AP, di ko sure kung gagana P2P, although mga less than 300 feet cguro yung 9th floor to ground.
  Fiber naman internet connection ko. My current router is asus rt-ac68u, baka lang may same scenario sa inyo sa akin. ayaw ko muna kasi bumili ng AP baka hindi gumana

  9 floors = 29.7 meters
  
  29.7 meters = 97 feet
  
  probably aabot if nasa bintana/balcony then nakatutok sa baba, otherwise ma aabsorb lang ng concrete walls and floors ang signal.
  
  bottleneck yeah malakas nga ang signal ng router mo pero ang receiving end client (laptop/cellphone ba malakas din mag transmit pabalik sa router?
  
  if you don't like to run a wire from 9th floor to the ground mount an access point na nakatutok sa ground floor. see Nanostation Loco M2 set it up as an access point.

  suggestion naman sa plan ko... need to have 2 APs installed sa house multiple ssid 2.4 and 5ghz and vlans gusto ko kasi i segregate ung network ng mobile devices, wired devices at IoTs. 1 sa ground floor then 1 in sa landing between 1st and 2nd floor.
  
  Currently thinking of using tp-link eap225 for APs and a managed switch at least 8 port with PoE for powering up the APs. medyo alangan kasi ako sa unifi (usg, us8-60w, ac-lite, cloud key gen2?)
  
  with regards sa APs need ko pa ba ng omada c200 controller o ok na yung software lang for management?
  
  Sa switch any suggestions? thinling going tplink narin pero need ko pa ba ng gateway router? how about kung cisco sg350 10p since L3 switch narin sya??

  Go for Unifi na, unahin muna ang Access Point at yung controller pwede naman iinstall sa desktop/laptop. once you configure the settings di mo na kilangan i-run ang controller 24x7, unless atat ka pa rin sa kaka monitor ng users sa web interface.
  
  in place of the USG if habol mo ang VLANs pwede palitan ng MikroTik hEX RB750Gr3 yan. Router on a stick bro. Multiple vlans coming out of single interface.
  
  If you really need the VLANs sa hardware port you don't need a layer 3 switch. Low priced smart web managed switch will do. SG series ng Cisco parehas lang sa Linksys. You get a better deal if you go with Linksys. word of advice kung kukuha ka ng Unifi review the PoE specifications if compatible sa PoE switch na kukunin.
