for your AP of choice, I think you need to get a better one, if your tight on the budget, get a TPlink EAP110 or something, but getting a Ubiquity AP AC Pro is still preferred.
for the router, to be honest depende sa knowledge mo, if your not familiar how to configure mikrotik, baka magkaproblema ka lang sa pag gamit nyan, same with pfsense but pfsense is much better than mikrotik when configuring it because of GUI and amount of guide out there.
but if you dont have idea and at least meron ka 50k budget, going all Ubiquiti is a good idea, di bale kunin mo na yung unifi dream machine pro ng ubiquiti and 2-3 AP AC series access points, mas madali gamitin to and its suitable for Small to Medium Business implementation.

I see.. maybe try ko muna pag aralan, free ba si PFsense? ~ if yes, marami ako spare computer dito sa office.. pero baka SFF or smaller gamitin ko para tipid din sa space.
*we usually turn off everything kasi pag uwian, wala ba problem yan sa pfsense? or need si pfsense server lagi mauuna buksan?
di ba sya high maintenance? small office lang naman kasi samin, more or less 30 computers and yung mga wifi-devices ilan lang pinapa connect ko sa wifi.
gusto ko lang maging mas maayos flow ng network kaya ako nag eexplore ngayon :) ~ currently setup namin dito sa office
PLDT modem --- 24 port switch -- then papunta na sa mga PC + 1 Dlink DAP-1360 AP

kung sakaling hindi Mikrotik or Pfsense gamitin ko.. ano pinaka simpleng setup solution pwede ko gawin?

question, ang dami cheap mesh wifi system sa online shop. Okay b mag invest sakanila? Maliit lang ung bahay namin, 60sqm and okay naman ang signal sa lahat ng room. Currently using routers na galing sa ISP.
Mag iimprove ba yung connection? Ang currently nka connect are
2 Laptops (for work)
4 cellphones
and some smart devices (switch, bulb, sensors) -

Example: nasa MsTeam Meeting ka and suddenly mag bad network. I am not sure if sa router lang un or sa ISP.

^that can cause by many things, heck a simple as one device streaming a youtube video is enough to trigger that. Ewan ko na lang kung ano yung subscribed speed mo sa ISP but if your getting that issue even at close proximity on the router, you might want to upgrade your plan to faster speed if you want to fix it
you can also fix by using Cake QoS with a OpenWRT powered router, its basically set and forget QoS (assuming you set the proper subscribed speed you get on speedtest on QoS setting) this requires a OpenWRT supported router. -

^you migth be talking about AX11000 since theres no AX1100, the slowest AX wifi standard is AX1800
still any router that will have that AX11000 will be very expensive and im expecting them to put it on a 1Gig internet connection. if not then just get AX3600 from xiaomi and save like 20k pesos in process.
in terms of performance, they basically the same. if you run them on a lets say 500mbps internet connection or slower.
but hey maybe you have some sort of local media server on your NAS and want to stream a 4k 120fps or 8k video through wifi, I guess that AX11000 will make at least help you to achive that.

connection nya is like this :
PLDT modem/router ---> 24port switch ---> 8port hub ---> DAP-1360 (connected via LAN cable)
dati ok naman, setup lang as Access Point.. SSID + password..
ngayon kasi ok naman, makaka connect ka, kaso no wifi? ~ any idea?
-- bale gusto ko kasi sya isetup as "new" access point na naka wired. aside dun sa wifi ng PLDT modem.

SETUP B: Gigabit switch between Mesh1 and the rest of mesh devices
ONU (50Mbps) <LAN> Mesh1 (Router Mode) <SWITCH> Mesh2,Mesh3
SETUP C: Gigabit switch between ONU and all mesh devices as Access Point
ONU (50Mbps) <SWITCH> Mesh1,Mesh2,Mesh3 (AP Mode) -
Setup C is much more efficient, the reason is the backplane speed of the switch, for a gigabit switch on a 8port ones, usually have 10gbit backplane bandwidth. So in case that client on Mesh 3 wants to communicate on Mesh 1, it will only use the bandwidth from the switch and will not affect client on mesh 2 communicating to lets say to your NAS (which is also connected to switch)
I recommend setting up the mesh devices to AP mode rather than in router mode. then you can just use the ONU's router capabilities instead. -

kapag naka connect ko sa tplink mabagal loading shopee at minsan nag seserver error app ng shopee, minsan ganun din sa FB at messenger... pero kapag sa main isp wifi wala naman problem
may mali kya sa settings... kahit gawin ko sya access point wifi mesh ganun din

^re-arrange your mesh, gamit ka ng anroid app called WifiAnalyzer. find a spot for where at the fartest spot where at elast 2bars dapat yung 5ghz spectrum.
or
just use a hardwired backhaul (aka gamit ka ng RJ45) to interconnect the mesh kits) -
guys need advice.
nakabitan na kasi kami ng pldt fibr galing kami dsl/vdsl. so bago na lahat router + cables. hindi nila kinuha yung lumang router which is prolink PRS1841. tanong lang, magagamit ko ba to as wireless AP? marereset or matatanggal ba yung PLDT program sa router? paano? -

Asa 3rd floor kami and balak namin i share yung internet namin sa 2nd floor pero ang gusto namin sana is my dedicated bandwidth limit silang sarili. We have fibr connection tapos 3 m5 deco pero ang option lang na nakikita namin is to limit the bandwidth per device.
Open yung LAN port 2 ng router ko, so pwede bang yun ang gamitin namin para sa bandwidt nila?
For example: Kung may 50 Mbps kami and gusto namin sa kanila yung 15 Mbps lang, pwede ko ba iconnect yung mikrotik hap sa port 2 then the mesh sa mikrotik so sa kanila lang talaga yung connection then sa amin pa rin yung port 1? Kumbaga instead na per device ang limit ng bandwidth, magiging per port.

it looks like you are looking for rate-limit, unfortunately this is not usually available on consumer grade hardware.

unfortunately, the deco m5 does not support rate limiting per device. However, you could potentially play with QoS and just give devices on the 2nd floor a lower priority. -
pafs new to wifi mesh system. got a tp deco e4 for testing muna kaya i got the cheapest. 3 floors bahay namin. nasa gitna ko nilagay ung 1st deco connected sa router using 5 ft cable. then sa 2nd floor mejo nasa gitna din sya above the main deco. pero sa room ko kasi sa 3rd floor nasa farmost side ko lang sya pwede ipwesto since dun ang room ko. Oks naman ang dl speed pag sa 2nd and 3rd loor ang magspeedtest pero sa room ko almost 5 mbps lang sya. Pag kasi tinry ko mejo ilapit ung second node to my room parang di naman stable ung connection.
1. San ba nakadepende speed nito? Depende ba sa layo sa main deco?
2. if ever ba magdagdag ako ng isa pang node directly below my room masosolve ba nya ung dl speed to be the same as the first and second node? -
^Papaano ba yung setup ng mga Deco nodes mo? So yung 1st node lang yung may backhaul sa ethernet? Kasi if walang backhaul yung 2nd and 3rd node mo it means they're communicating with each other thru WiFi so kung malayo agwat nila. Babagal talaga connection. Another thing is switch to AP mode para hindi nadoduble yung NAT since may router kana.
