Hi folks.
Balik loob sa desktop ako so I can improve my rig to play Overwatch decently, but on a budget.
My old rig is
- Intel E8200
- HD 6770
- DDR2 sticks - Team Xtreem Dark
- Mobo: Gigabyte G41M-Combo
My laptop with a 940m runs OW better than my desktop rig. =(
My plan:
i3-6100 - P6,010
- This is probably the more affordable choice of proc na Skylake. Would it make sense to get this over the Haswell counterparts? I don't have a Mobo in mind yet, I'll probably need to get the cheapest one with DDR4
Asus GTX1060 Dual 3gb - P13,280
I'm not sure if it's still worth it to get a cheaper GTX 960
Need to buy DDR4 stick as well, probably a Crucial Ballistix 8gb stick - P2,800
Need recommendations sa mobo, and an SSD for a boot drive.
TIA

^Try looking into the Kabylake Pentium G4xxx series.

So far ayun pinakamatindi at mataas ang benchmark niya ahhh.

@Odellot what a waste of money there by oc'ing the 6950x at risk, less than a year tho hows ur recent 5960x?

@RSocialClubTV
My 5960x was overclocked for almost 2 years and it never give me any problem..I sold it and the new owner still overclocked the same way I did and gave him no problem also..
Overclocking is not that dangerous if you cool the CPU adequately and keep the voltage to safe value..

@Odellot
Gusto ko kasi talaga magstart mag stream, kaso I've read na usually streamers have two separate PC sets: 1 for gaming and 1 for streaming. Now that you've mentioned that these hexa/octacores can reach high frequencies as well (4.20-4.5GHz), mukhang ganun na nga lang gagawin ko. Ang worry ko kasi nun I would get lower fps due to low base/boost clocks of the hexa/octacores. Pagisipan ko kung 6800k or 6900k, 6950x is too much for me na eh hahaha

@sydmon
Yup nasira yung 6950x because of faulty motherboard..
Regarding sa Streaming, most streamers 6900k or 6800K ang gamit..Although mas maganda kung malakas din ang GPU mo para kahit may frame drops habang nagsstream smooth due to high FPS..
6800K/6900K @ 4.2-4.4ghz is more than enough sa gaming while streaming..Not like 6700K/7700K na cguradong ramdam ang FPS Drops kapag ngstream ka na while gaming..

That's an LG 29UM68-P I bought from Amazon.

Yup, plastic. Nabili ko itong Lifetime table sa A*e Software for around 1.7k. Nagsale kasi.

Trying to decide kung red or orange lights. Salamat!
