Bought Carrier 1.5HP Xpower Gold last Feb 2015; daily usage for 12hours at 25? and mid fan(3/5), cool mode; regular cleaning of every 6 months.
18sq meter; Direct sunlight(afternoon) with windows(opaque curtains) and galvanized roofing with plywood)
2017-After two years, humina ang hangin, nawalan din ng lamig, almost 6inches lang ramdam ng hangin
Nov2018-Nag tiis ng one year sa non-performing aircon+electric fan, bought a new window type aircon
2019-Top down service 6-8k plus freon, lumamig ng konti
Mid 2020- After six months, bumalik nanaman sa sakit(humina at no cool)
Oct2020-Planning to replace it with daikin 2.0 or LG 2.0(no budget yet)
Nov 2020-Cleaned with coil cleaner, much better but not like new
Feb 2021-So far so good, lumalamig ng konti, but not the same as new and deteriorating performance
Planning to buy new one pag totally hindi na lumamig ulit
Lesson, nag rely ako sa brand since we have a window type, and using it for almost two decade for regular daily use of 8-10hrs.

so had our 1.0HP Carrier Optima cleaned today pina sched ko directly sa carrier. then yung technician pagcheck nung aircon nagyeyelo yung coils sabe baka may tagas daw freon, pagbukas merong oil din sa isang part ng coil sabe baka dun ang tagas kase dapat wala daw oil don and if di maayos sooner or later baka madagdagan pa problema
option 1 pwede daw i pa pull out tas dadalhin mismo sa carrier and aabutin ng 2-3 weeks and gastos ng around 6k
option 2 ni kuya tech, pwede daw na sila na mag ayos pero under the table agreement, pumayag ako and total gastos is 3.5k kasama na palinis, pinalitan yung isang part ng copper na may butas daw and hininang, then nagcharge din ata ng freon while naka on. sumunod yung anak nya may dalang mga gamit, malapit lang sila sa amin, nagrerepair repair din daw sila
di naman ba ako nataga? thanks sa inputs!

To users of prime fresh panasonic ref:
1. What settings do u recommend? Low, medium or high?
2. If prime fresh + light is on, it will go to medium settings a few seconds later, is that normal?
3. Having frozen chicken inside the prime fresh container using medium settings, is that normal?

I have Daikin split type, ano kaya problem, ayaw lumamig, ayaw rin umikot yung outdoor fan.
Initial workaround provided by dealer is switch off yung breaker for few mins then turn back on, gumana nung una, pero succeeding days ayaw na.
Anyone na naka experience nito, ano kaya possible problem? 2yrs palang Daikin ko :(

So I decided to replace my 10yr old Panasonic inverter fridge. It still works although the coldness is not par when it was brand new but heck I still get refreshing cold water out of it. However, the plastic cages broke over time especially in the bottom freezer where it is almost unusable.
Now I got another Panasonic fridge and this time a 3 door bottom freezer pull out design - NR-CY550QSPH. It's currently at the "settling" stage as recommended by the vendor. Wondering if anyone has the same model as mine? Any tips and tricks?

hi all,
meron kaming old 2hp Carrier Premier Edition WT AC, had it for almost 10 years na.
Recently merong nag accumulate na mga langgam sa ac, though it has been perfectly working fine.
Nakaka irita lang na ang dami niyang langgam.
Already refer to a shop para mag linis and magpalit ng capacitor(?) but bumalik din mga langgam awhile after.

^You need to find the source where the ants are coming from. Paborito nyan paglagyan mga kahoy, so baka yung AC frame mo and/or its foundation are infested. There are commercially available chemicals that can get rid of ants. Otherwise, good old Bygon will do.

@rhizom3, yeah, Panasonic is good but a pain to maintain—parts need to be shipped out of MY or VT, so it can be quite expensive to say the least. If compared with locally sourced, sobra laki difference. Yung Kelvinator ng parents ko its been like a decade but parts are still available on hand at Concepcion, isang katok lang sa gate nila sa Buendia eh replaced na agad ang shelves and hinges. My Pana door drink shelf cracked recently and tried to get a quote and its a whopping 30% of the entire price of the ref. Geezzz

I'm sorry to hear that, sir (or ma'am?). Our 1st gen Panasonic 2-door inverter has been with us for 10 years. The only issue we had was the fuse (in the back panel). Replaced it and boom, working again. And of course, the fridge boxes which most of the times is a user issue as we overload them as the family grew.

Yeah, so breaking them is inevitable, lalo na sa door drink shelf, di mo maiiwasan kasi yun ang pinaka-accessed/high-traffic na compartment. Not sure why Pana keeps using ABS plastic and not shift sa polycarbonate resins (planned obsolescense perhaps). So if naka-Pana ka, goodluck

Malakas ang tunog at nakakaistorbo sa pagtulog namin minsan. Kadalasan annoying kasi mas malakas pa tulo kesa sa pinapanood namin sa TV.
Ano po pwede ipatong sa AC para maging silencer ng mga tumutulo? Hindi po kasi option lagyan ng bubong. TIA

hanap ka plastic rectangular container na halos sakto sa chassis ng AC. lagyan mo ng drain/hose para hindi mapuno ng tubig saka mo lagyan mo ng foam to absorb the drip/noise. yan lang naisip ko paraan kung hindi pwede lagyan ng canopy yung AC mo.

or if you want ghetto solution, just get those rubber matting used for toddlers and place it on top of the aircon chassis., it would provide good sound insulation for drips :)

hi ask ko lang po if tama lang ba yung ichacharge samin for replacement ng defrost timer/defrost thermostat for 2800 pesos. yung ref kasi namin indi na lumalamig pero nagyeyelo yung freezer. no frost LG brand po pala ref namin.

Iniisip ko lang, hindi kaya liparin naman? Thinking if I should put adhesive, hindi kasi pwede patungan ng mabigat kasi baka mahulog naman at makadisgrasya. xD

double adhesive foam tape would do. pero not 100% ma-absorb nung rubber mat ang drip noise issue mo.

Pwede naman, basta may dedicated na breaker switch yung AC at kaya ng nakalatag na wiring sa wall outlet na yan—usually 10 or 15amps ang rating ng isang wall outlet eh, so if 1HP lang naman ang ikabit mo at isang TV, kayang kaya yan.

Sino na nagkaproblem sa kolin 1.5h[ split type na medyo mahina yung buga? Malamig siya pero parang nasa 60-70% lang yung fan speed niya compare dun sa isa naming 1hp split type na kolin rin kahit same settings.
Ano kaya problem nun? bagong linis lang siya pero yung unit almost 4-5yrs na siguro.
