If malamig naman ang hangin na ibinubuga pero hindi talaga nya mapalamig ang room, that's just because the room is simply too big for it. The aircon FAQ's in page 01 (of the
DC Inverter Aircon thread) will tell you na dapat ay 1.5hp at the very least ang capacity for that space. Better if 2hp para may headroom during very hot days.
For now, try using an electric fan to help the unit circulate air in the room better. Ilagay mo sa farthest corner from the unit then itutok mo pataas para ibato nya yung hangin doon papunta sa intake ng aircon. Let us know if that helps kahit papaano.

If may budget ka pa, best to get a 1hp compact inverter aircon na lang. The Gree GJ-09-6DR and its rebadged siblings are good candidates. But if no budget and okay lang sa iyo ang high electric bills, ipa-repair mo na lang yung unit dahil malamang may leak lang yan and probably won't cost too much to repair.

Please help, my Kolin ST aircon has an EC error, according to kolin website it is related to refrigerant leak. Hingi sana ako idea kung how much ang repair cost? Or save later for a new WT aircon instead?
Btw, almost 4 years pa lang sya.
Thanks

@Dino,
Bakit maingay mag buga ng hangin yung ac namin kahit kakalinis lang split type 1hp Daikin D-Smart.
Kung nagmanifest or lalo lumala yan noise after cleaning lang, it might be caused by loose cover/screws or misaligned squirrel fan tulad nito nangyari sa Daikin ko in my post in the other thread:
The noise was caused by "misplaced" squirrel fan which the previous cleaner pulled out to remove the molds then presumably it wasn't assembled properly. Eto yun generated noise before at its worst was intermittently loud.
<click here for link>
Anyway, its better to have it checked/repaired by the servicepersons who cleaned your unit. It should be free of charge if its quite recent lang.

it could be your AC is on drip less mode. nasagot na rin ni godai kung bakit hindi nya mapalamig ng tama ang room mo.
your room (18~21m² kamo) is way too big for a 1hp AC. kapos talaga yan, compact model pa.

Here's what happened:
All of a sudden, hindi na lumamig ang split type aircon.
Nagokay ang aircon using 'manual mode' Sabi nila after 15-30 minutes pwede na ioff at i-on for normal use. So umalis na sila nung nakuha ang bayad at nakita na may water drips na coming from the indoor unit palabas sa tube.
After restarting the aircon, ayaw na ulit lumamig at ayaw na umandar ng outdoor fan. Checked the error code, it says F95 now meaning may sira sa fan motor.
- In the market range naman ba ang charging?
- Any idea saan may supply ng fan motor for Panasonic inverter split type aircon?
Thanks.

When the technician says na palitin ang capacitor, you should ask them to show you kung ilan ang capacitance reading ng papalitan. Madalas kasi ay kahit ayos ang capacitor ay papalitan nila yan just to make a money grab..

They should be able to show you the unit operating normally. Syempre tawagin mo ulit dahil palpak ang ginawa nila. Back job yan.
Off-warranty na yan noh? Did you call an authorized service ng Panasonic?
Any idea saan may supply ng fan motor for Panasonic inverter split type aircon?
Syempre sa Panasonic. But aside from them, try joining aircon technician groups in FB to get info kung sino ang meron stock. But be aware na dapat may part number ka ng motor at di yung sasabihin mo lang ang model ng aircon mo - that doesn't really help at all.

Thanks for the input Godai_Yusaku.

They showed me nung napalitan na. 1.8uF yung original at 2uF naman yung replacement. They said, tolerable at recommended naman ni Panasonic yung slight step up.

To be fair, nagawa naman nila yung evaporator leak more than a year ago. Dito lang sa capacitor pumalpak.
Now, ang behavior ng aircon is tuloy tuloy na umaandar ang outdoor fan at need pa itulak manually sa simula bago umikot. During their last visit, sa board na daw, so I guess ito na ang quick escape nila. So everytime may F94/95 error daw, palit lang ulit ng capacitor or fan motor.

When I said na ipakita yung capacitance rating, what I meant was that kung Ilan uF ang reading using a multimeter and kung sakto pa ba sa rating ng cap. Palitin yun if say 1uF na lang ang reading when it should be 1.8uF.
Dapat same rating talaga. Did they break your fan motor? Likely so.

^No reason to buy the non inverter kasi di naman ganun kalayo presyuhan.

Hi,
Patulong po. I have a 2.5hp Kolin WT inverter AC. For the past 1 or 2 weeks, every now and then nag-e-error yung ac with F0 code and parang naka-fan na lang sya, walang lamig. Ano po kaya problem ng aircon? Quick fix ko is to unplug and then unplug and ok na sya, lumalamig na uli.
TIA

question - ano pong kayang recommended breaker for a 2HP inverter split type AC (with "Twin Rotary" compressor)? based on computation ko 20amps... pero di ko sure kung iba ba yong formula pag may indoor/outdoor units. may separate "nameplate" kse si outdoor and indoor units, na halos pareho naman naka print (i.e. same rated input and current) - although sa header of each nameplate is naka indicate na "Indoor" and "Outdoor".
thanks!
