CDR-King items discussion thread (no text speak!)

  • saang branch kayo may nakitang ganto?

  • kung wala pwede bumili ng ganyan na spare parts for a blood pressure cuff then kabitan ng lumang ballpen

  • I bought a cdrking xbox360 clone controller for use with my laptop. I also have an original wired one used on my desktop. Note the orig one has a small factory defect. Mahirap ma detect if I press the left shoulder button

here are the differences of the cdrking clone:
    * slightly more rough plastic surface
    * no breakaway 2 part usb cable
    * very slightly less accurate analog sticks, hard to describe
    * Analog stick spring is slightly weaker
    * much less lifespan (more on that later)
    * Instead of the shiny X button it has a green cdrking button

So while it works it pretty much feels very very similar to the original. If it were not for the short lifespan I would say its pretty good

I had it for a couple of months then used it hard for a month. Was able to finish a JRPG but then this happened

The device manager has Universal Serial Bus Controllers Flag USB Device Not Recognized. Device Descriptor Request Failed

Oh well, chalk it up to experience
  • note: tried it both on laptop and desktop both relatively new devices with win 10. Same thing
  • Oh well, chalk it up to experience

the only time I was happy was the arcade Joystick... left it to gather dust due to work and still ok to play on my recent test with a doujin fighting game

as for Controllers... give it a month or so and it will fail by itself, tried the Playstation non analog controller =/

  • ^ oo bro among all of the items i purchased at cdrking e, less than a year lang tinatagal and without any reason, it just stops working, kaya after that i avoid purchasing at cdrking e.

eto na lang sir... out of 100% ng stocks nilalabas nila at least 20-30% are hidden gems, the rest are junk

mga mouse and most likely computer stuffs are to be avoided... yung reversible USB to Micro-USB-A sa kanila at least 2+ months sumablay

  • mine are usbs, mouse and my most expensive purchase was an external hdd 1tb for 4k ata, then after just a year and 6months nagloloko na hanggang sa nacra nalang, ksama ng naglaho mga well kept old memories (movies and pics). Dun na din natapos ung storya namin ni cdrking hahahahah btw guys i just bought a usb sa isang shop sa sm and ung price sa cd rking compare sa iba e hindi na nalalayo mas cheaper lang ung sa cdrking ng 20-50 pesos.

yung 200-300 na 2.5 HDD USB enclosure ang matibay sa akin up till now ginagamit sa WD Scorpio 500GB, yung 680 na E-SATA casing ko namatay na....

mukhang matinding sugal kasi sa CD-R King...
  • kung controller lang din, mas maganda bumili na lang kayo ng legit controllers from playstation or xbox. they should work on PC naman OOB specially kung yung games mo e hindi pirated at youre using steam for your game purchases since I think 97% of their games are controller compatible, although almost all of them are designed to work with xbox controller, it should work with any controller for playstation (sixaxis or better) OOB without any kind of driver installation or hacks.

of course mahal nga lang pero worth it naman. I still have my sixaxis controller working with my HTPC for past 8 years since my 1st PS3 purchase Ive done (bundled with it), di bale ang repair lang na ginawa ko sa kanya is yung analog stick yung rubber thing nya, nagmamantika but theres a easy fix on that anyway for 100 pesos pruchase from lazada which is cap replacement for analog stick on PS3.

at least 20-30% are hidden gems, the rest are junk

  • This is the link. But it's color red. The item number is the same though

    <click here for link>

bought one of these for 180 pesos. Temporary only until I can go and buy a microsoft or logitech controller.

So far it works OK. In the one game I'm playing right now I had to reassign the Right analog stick in the options (it was replicating some of the buttons) to make it work properly, with the right analog stick moving the camera. And the start/select keys (Back/start keys on the original xbox controller) seem to have gone to the right and left triggers. But I got used to it.

So the only question is, tatagal ba ito? Once I buy a proper controller either I wait for this to wear out or I give it to my relatives who have a Ps3 console

Note: it seems to work best in analog mode (press the analog button until the light turns on)

  • @AmalgamvsAloof,

So far in my experience, tumagal siya sa akin ng ilang years due to inactivity on my part, siguro 1-3 times a month ko lang nagagamit tapos bigla nalang hindi gumana after 1 year +. So ayun, di ko pa masyado nagagamit at tinatago ko naman ng maayos (wires are rolled up properly, may pouch pa akong maliit from somegiveaway, kaya malabo din mapasukan ng moist.)
Another alternative mo bro is Logitech F310 (which is currently na ginagamit ko for PC) mag 2 years na this coming April, so far so good at no signs of malfunctioning as far as I can tell.

  • Logitech F310

    regarding the controller mga sir

tsaka pag fps ba mostly magnda controller?

DI is the old standard for windows to communicate with a game controller
XI is newer, came out with the xbox 360. Mas maganda daw yun

New games are compatible with XI, older games DI
  • tsaka pag fps ba mostly magnda controller?

For first person shooters mouse + kb is better - usually. Depende sa game. You can program a game to favor either one. But in general first person shooters are better using mouse + kb because you have fast but accurate aiming using the mouse

Totoo to mas prefer ko padin ang Keyboard at mouse than controller iba padin ang speed at accuracy nito compare sa controller unless naka auto aim :P

but not all games sir? planning to use a controller para medyo relax ng konti sa couch mhirap at masakit sa likod pagnaka upo masyado tapos mababa yung table at kb mouse

planning to use this controller sa resident evil games from 6 to revelation balak ko laruin tsaka yung ibang game na consol port na pararng mas optimized siya sa controller at hindi sa keyboard
  • but not all games sir?

    of course depende sa game

the logitech controllers have both DI and XI

  • at least 20-30% are hidden gems, the rest are junk

May router/repeater ako binili for 300 lang ata 3-4 years ago and it great.
naka repeater function siya ever since na binili ko dati up until now i'm using it.
yung mga tplink cost like 1k above that time.

yung mga ddwrt routers nila good buy dati. I flashed tomato firmware and up until now gamit parin ng kapatid ko.

yup eto ang pinaka bang for the buck the controller..
yung 2008 pa ata etong akin and up until now gamit ko parin sa pc and android tv box ko.
  • ^ hows the response time? wala ba delay? pag bakbakan na
  • ^wala naman latency or whatsoever.. made to last siya..
you can connect upto 4 xbox 360 controllers sa isang wireless receiver.
  • one of the reasons I went for logitech kasi ang dali naging matigas ang left shoulder button ng orig wired microsoft 360 controller.
