the Eat-all-you-can thread! (Name eat-all-you-can restaurants and places to go)

  • Magkano nabayad nyo po sa spiral boss?

    3k per person ang regular dinner sa Spiral. We only paid roughly P1700 each dahil sa voucher
  • sino na mga nakapag try sa something's fishy sa eastwood .. okay po ba dun gusto sana namen i try
  • ^kami mga 2 weeks ago aya. Yung midnight to morning buffet (12mn-10AM) pa lang na try namin at P200+ sa presyong P200 pwede na

    Masarap dun pag tipong lasing ka na at nagtitipid. Pero kung wala kang amats, okay lang mura naman kasi kaya sulit.

  • 200+ na pala sa something fishy, we started eating there nung 89pesos pa lang :)
  • Marami na rin kase nadagdag ngaun. fried chicken, ham, siomai, US tapa na mataba, chicken inasal. lumoia shanghai. sa P200 ok na rin, kapag kumakain ako sa fastfood mga ganun rin nagagastos ko kaya sulit na for its price. yugn quality ng food so-so lang but hindi na ko magreklamo dalhin pang busog lang naman

  • musta ang dimsum and sushi/sashimi sa spiral? malayo ba quality sa usual/vikings? o same lang
  • ^sa Dimsum hindi ako sure, hindi ako nag try since mabilis siya makabusog

    Sa sushi/sashimi naman, konti lang kinain ko since rice rin so nakakabusog. Nothing special for me. Parang mas wide pa nga yung selection ng Vikings but I think mas maganda yung quality ng rice sa Spiral. Coming from Japan and trying out one of the top sushi restaurants in Tokyo, parang naging ordinary na lang yung mga sushi/sashimi saatin. I have yet to try Ogawa restaurant in BGC though. Yung ingredients nila galing daw ng Tsukiji Market sa Tokyo.

    OT, not EAYC but I can vouch for Ogawa. I personally know George, one of the owners of Ogawa, he's also the owner of Modern China, Tony Roma's and K-Pub. The ingredients being used in Ogawa are straight from Tokyo, also the chef used to work for Senju (EDSA Shang). Try their Teppan Lobster Gozen!

    dont really care kung imported from japan ang seafood, kasi we have some of the best seafood here in pinas din, basta maayos ang handling.

    in any case, wag sana kami ma disappoint. dinner weekday kami next week. kapag wala foie gras mababadtrip ako. haha...

    ang battle plan ko is grab something spicy from the indian station pampagana. then off to sushi and dimsum... tapos meats pero di masyado kasi mabigat sa tyan di ako makaksulit. haha.

    tapos pahinga konti, cheese muna and nuts. peking duck. meron ba lobsters? adik din ako sa prawns. tira konti oysters.

    sa french section ba meron beef bourguignon? and chocolate souffle? duck confit? yun lang gusto ko itry dun and of course foie gras (lots of it hehe)

    ang isa ko pa ginagawa pampakalma ng sikmura in between meals, tea (black/green)... tapos laban ulit.

    desserts din. malamang tumambay ako sa chocolatier...

    sana makisama ang sikmura ko.. expand expand pls. hahaha
