Seagate warranty straight to singapore at no cost (read FAQ on Page 1)

depending on the model of the HDDs, I believe Seagate has a 3-year (consumer level) and 5-year (enterprise level) warranty offerings. usually ang basis nila for warranty is the receipt and in the absence of the receipt, the serial number.
i.e.
with RECEIPT - HDD was bought on August 24, 2012 and has a 3-year warranty. so today (Aug. 23, 2015) you are still covered with the warranty because you have the receipt.
without RECEIPT - even though you bought it on Aug. 24, 2012, warranty will still be based on its serial number (you can check here: <click here for link>).
swerte mo kung ang lalabas is a much later date pa ang expiration kaysa sa \"actual\" purchase date mo (+3 or 5 years) which nangyari na sa akin for my Seagate BackUp Plus 2TB, I bought it between Sept-Oct 2012 pero nagstart yung warranty is December 2012 as per the serial number. -

malaki chances is kararating po ng stocks from factory to distro then distro to store
may gap po talaga yung warranty ng 3 to 4months from the day na paglabas sa factory until magstart yung warranty
same po yan sa WD
maganda lang sa seagate, yung pina-rma mo nadadadagan ng ilang days or weeks or minsan if swerte month/s yung dinadagdag nila
for example yung warranty mo is until Aug 24 2015
pina-rma mo at pinadala kay UPS same day, at dumating ng Aug. 27 yung kapalit, sure somewhere Sept 2015 yung warranty nya

Tried this guide. Ayos na ayos, got my Seagate Backup plus replaced ng wala pang 1 week. Though what happened to me was hindi same unit yung bumalik sakin; naging slim version siya which is nice :) Thanks again!

kainis! nawala yung RMA # nung isang hdd ko sa email ko. paano ko kaya ma-request iretrieve? gulat ko nawala eh.
magkasabay pa naman sana yun nung isang hdd ko. -

nasira yung external seagate back up plus ko. nakapag create order na ako sa warranty&replacement. pag pinadala ko sa sa UPS-SCS makakareceive ako ng notification if natanggap na nila? Or kung naipadala na sa Singapore?

Pwede po ba ipa-rma itong hdd ko? Kakabili ko lang nito nung April.. Nagkaroon ng status bad kapag ibuboot ko na itong pc ko eh.. Ok pa naman sya, ito nga ang gamit ko ngayon sa OS ng pc ko... at tsaka pag ipapa-RMA ba kailangan nakareformat na?
Tsaka magkano ang usually ang magagastos kapag magpa-RMA? from Dagupan City, Pangasinan pa ako eh.

pwede ko na po kaya ipa RMA ang seagate 1tb external 2.5" hdd. may 3 bad blocks na at unstable na sya gamitin eh.

Pa-advise nmn po. Yun Seagate Backup Plus Desktop External (4 TB) ko working pa nun Christmas pero this year lang ayaw na mag turn-on. Dinala ko na sa Villman pero tinry lang nila kabitan ng iba adapter and ayaw pa din mag power on. Pano ko po kaya makukuha yun files ko bago ko ipa RMA?
Wala naman symptoms na bibigay yun HD ko e. Ok naman sya pagnanood me ng movies through HD. Yun lang bigla ayaw na mag-on.
