Mga secret kainan!

  • @aRTie

Charlie's Grind and Grill sa Kapitolyo <click here for link> mas gusto ko sila vs sa Shake Shack and actually medyo malapit ang lasa sa In-N-Out.

Boss Burger <click here for link> naman pag gusto ko ng something cheap pero masarap, mas pipiliin ko to kaysa 8 Cuts lol
  • Salamat sir sa mga suggestions
  • any reco sa similar type of resto ng Marche Movenpick? (Swiss menu; rosti, crepes, rotisserie, pasta, etc.) Tia!
  • @fakuryu

Ayaw ko sana i-share to since secret ko lang to... <click here for link> hindi ako vegetarian pero isa yan sa mga favorite na restaurant ko. Nasa Top 10 list ko sya lalo na yung (veggie)meatloaf, pumpkin soup, at banoffee pie. Pero sharing is caring.

Hands down ang favorite ramen place ko <click here for link> for me this is better than Mendokoro, plus may Japanese bakery sila na katabi kung gusto nyo maka try ng Japanese pastries.

Haha.

taga makati ka din pala lods, 2 years din ako jan, sa may Shopwise pasong tamo ako nakapag apartment dati, corporate days, haha Rank n File pa kase position dati kaya medyo tipid sa mga pagkain, sana bukas pa yung masarap na pares along pasong tamo malapit sa little tokyo, forgot the name.

Check La Creperie at Broadway St. corner 14th St in New Manila QC. You can find their menu online
  • @bum4now

  • A couple more to share:

Ohayo Japanese restaurant. Frequent customer kami sa Granada St. near Santolan road sa QC but may other branches sila. Their ramen and maki are really good. Limited menu but good food and prices are decent.

Cafe Amarela sa Markina. Their Portugese chicken, squid ink pasta and baked sushi are awesome. International cuisine so they also have biryani, paela, beef rendang, etc. Unfortunately, delivery only since they already closed down the restaurant.

Target acquired. Regular business hours lang to ano?
  • Grilled Burger Factory: <click here for link>
    - cheap, tasty burgers

The Pizza Burger: <click here for link>
    - not the best burger or pizza I've tasted pero pwede na for the price
  • So I already tried Aling Norma's pancit palabok sa Kamuning market.

I rate it 8/10 kasi matataba ang noodles, just like pancit malabon. Pero sauce and toppings panalo. Better tasting than Aling Banangs, Jollibee, Mang Inasal , Tropical Hut and far better than that overrated one sa Quinta Market.

  • Sorry to say this pero masyado na overpriced ang Ling Nam (no offense to the previous post). Yes, the taste is still authentic and eto ung favorite ng parents ko pero there are a lot of competitors now that have either similar or better quality.
  • ^ sadly prices had gone up to almost lahat ng range. taas gas, taas rekados, taas goods.

Their grilled patties flavorful and not bland unlike the defunct Yvan Navy, and price is budget friendly similar to Grilled Burger Factory or Eat Sleep Burger. Instead of cheese slices, cheese sauce ang gamit nila. May veggies and onions. Bang for the buck if you'd ask me.

    another burger joint:
Dapitan's Best Coal Burger - Dapitan St. near cor. Halcon St.

  • Sorry to say this pero masyado na overpriced ang Ling Nam (no offense to the previous post). Yes, the taste is still authentic and eto ung favorite ng parents ko pero there are a lot of competitors now that have either similar or better quality.

@bum4now, like i said medyo mabigat ang price or overpriced talaga sa bago pa lang kakain dyan. regarding nman sa competitors can you name a few around chinatown or sta cruz area with fair price na authentic parin at better ang quality? wala na kasi ung ma mon luk at pinsec. so please let me know those competitors na alam mo and share it sa lahat. TIA!
  • This is going to be based on type of food and not necessarily located in the Manila Downtown area.

Siopao alternative - Wan Kee Bakery in Buenavidez, they have this tasty baked siopao. The bola-bola is awesome!
Dimsum, congee and noodles - Wai Ying that was mentioned, Le Ching in Banawe, Charlie's wonton in Mandaluyong
Porkchop noodle soup! - yes, it sounds weird but it's good. Tasty Dumplings in Masangkay.
different noodles like miki-bihon, lomi, misua guisado, etc. - Delicious restaurant in Sta Cruz, Ylaya in Retiro
Fried chicken - Shantung Restaurant in West Ave, this was in downtown a REALLY long time ago. They serve full course meals but their fried chicken is really good! Other things on menu I remember were hot and sour soup na may betamax, coldcuts na may jellyfish
Various chinese food - Golden Chicken House in San Juan, food here is not bad, but pretty affordable

You can get their menu online by searching the name in google.
  • Sucat to Alabang area recommendations? No fancy resto pls
