Ayun. Baka yan ang difference ng W657D sa W65D. Not totally sure. Pero di ko na kasi naging worry kasi may cable na kami and very little chance na mag ISDB-T set up ako. Either way, ang main purpose ko sa TV is to watch lots of HD movies. :)

Etong April lang ata narelease dito satin ang W65D pero mas madaming features pa din yung W800C like yung 3D.

ano bang for the buck na tv ngayon whether 4k or 1080 under 30k? lagi ko nababasa w800c dito pati uh6500, any other from samsung??
totoo din ba na hindi true 4k yung 6500 kasi RGBW siya kaya may daya yung pagiging 4k niya??

Since may additional na White LED siya (RGB
W), di na-aachieve yung 4,000 pixels (3840×2160) kasi nag-oocupy siya ng extra space. Kaya yan pinupush ng Samsung na din tunay na 4k yung UH6500, UH6100 at UH7100 ng LG. Di ko pa nakikita yan sa personal kaya I can't differentiate kung marketing battle lang ba or di talaga makikita ang difference ng RGB vs RGBW. Kaya I'll take it from the experts na malaki ang difference niyang dalawa -

price sobra mura!!!
meron din sila 4k Ultra HD tv with price sobra din mura!!
sobra na akong na eenganyo bumili as in mura talaga ... kaso i need to be sure...
baka may hints kayo? review? personal experience or from a friend? anyting that will help me decide? actuall di ko pa nakikita ng personal kasi i oorder ko sa lazada or direct delivery nila talaga kaya naninigurado ako ng sobra.

after a long research, I've narrowed it down to 3 choices:
1. LG 43uh6500 - good all rounder but master of none.
+ HDR.
+ Good contrasts.
+ 2016 model
- Fake 4k. (RGBW panel)
- Mediocre upscaling engine. 480p and 720p sources look blocky and artifacting is present.
- Decent PQ.
- Mediocre motion handling.
2. Sony 43w800c -
+ Great PQ.
- 2015 model.
- 1080p only.
+ Android TV.
+ Best upscaler on 1080p screens. 480p and 720p sources look good
+ The best motion handling and judder control.
3. Sony 43" x8300c
+ True 4k panel.
+ Best 4k upscaler due to x1. 480p and 720p sources look great. proper 1080p sources look better than 4k counterparts.
+ The best motion handling and judder control.
+ Android TV
- 2015 model.
- No HDR.
- Poor contrasts.
-- Horrendous black levels. Light bleeding and haloing very noticeable on dark scenes.
- Not triluminous.
Wildcard pick:
Sony 43 x8000d
+ 2016 model
+ HDR
+ Triluminous Display
+ True 4k panel
- not yet available
- not X1 upscaler
Which one seems the best? It's mostly for 720p and 1080p sources (movies, CG, animations). I was leaning on the x8300c but seeing horrible black levels, I started to look for another. The 2016 sony looks good on specs and initial reviews are great. But I don't know when this will be available here (and the price).
Any other recommendations?

@quinn_margz ang mahirap sa mura alam mo naman maraming kulang o mahinang klase tulad ng, Picture Quality, quality ng mga piyesa nyan, warranty ilang years ba, after sales.
Actually nakita ko na yan yung 55 UHD nila 29K lang ata kung di ako nag kakamali, pero nasa iyo pa din since pera mo yan, pwede mo naman i test, dala ka ng hard disk na may,
720p, 1020p, 4k (kung meron ka), AVI na movies yung malalakas ang sounds talaga, gawa ka jpeg na picture para sa full hd at 4k pixels to tet kung may backlight bleeding or dead pixels, google mo na lang :)

One major thing: Research. Halos walang RnD ang mga off brand, laging "me too" specs, plus the firmware/OS driving the TV is almost always crappy. Kahit pa smart TV pangit ang navigation, hindi responsive, minsan makakakita ka pa ng typos, sakit sa mata. lol!

need a replacement LED TV, sino at saan pinaka mura na 40+ inches?
no need of branded name, no need of high spec,
basta can read usb flash drive ok na, pang normal ps2 gaming and watch movies (low res 720-1080) lang,
parang mga led tv ng hari di na rin sobrang mura now compared to other non-major brand kasi,

Pag 'made in china', fake :p
Seriously, nasa spec sheet naman yan. Dapat nakalagay ang standard resolution ay 3840 x 2160 pixels (16:9). Anything below 2160p is not 4K.

hi, planning to buy a Qube 43" smart tv, pero medyo hesitant ako since d maganda feedbacks dun sa old qube thread. Meron pa bang better alternative 1080p display @ 15k ? Smart function is not required.

Samsung claims na sila ang true 4k, kasi ang panel nila is Red, Green, Blue, (RGB) repeated over and over.
Tama naman na dapat ganun.
LG does it differently with their 4k TVs (not sure if all). Naglagay sila ng another subpixel na steady white (RGBW),
increasing the number of pixels. Though it means na nameet nila yung number of subpixels for 4k, many would argue na hindi naman kasama sa color reproduction yung isang white subpixel, fake 4k yan.
What does this mean for you and your TV? TBH, not much - unless you're a number cruncher. Kung maganda naman sa tingin mo, faux 4k vs true 4k is nothing more than marketing terms. :D

Buti na lang, buti na lang di ako bumili talaga nung UH6500. Kamuntik na. I used a UP3214Q and I returned it twice because of half screen and sleeping issues sabi ko mag 43" na nga ako para tapos ang usapan. Almost. I settled with a P2715Q. Happy with it. My vote though goes to Sony 4K HDR's, their TV is soooo good. Miles better compared sa LG. Pero the price is a staggering 100k. Huhu

ingat po sa hisense under yan ng devant (better check sa net ng feedback sa hisense TV) ako mismo naixperience ko madali po mabasag ang panel ng TV na yan at napakamahal ng charge ng service center po nila better get haier nalang kase SANYO po yan.

Yung smart tv ko parang hindi smart, pahingi ng applications na i ddownload ano ba maganda? heheh parang android cellphone na walang apps text tawag lang nagagamit hahaha.
