@jr2_pajarillo
I saw your feedback about OLED not having enough brightness. Is that from a well-lit room with lots of natural light? I'm considering getting an LG OLED, and mostly at night naman ako nanonood so baka hindi naman issue pag madilim? TIA
^ the brightness is sufficient for me, iba iba naman ang pananaw with regards to brightness settings, ako kasi sanay mata ko sa 35-40% brightness setting. i highly recommend that you do consider getting this model
I think their concern on not enough brightness on OLEDs is mejo conservative ang settings ni LG on ABL (automatic brightness limiter) for their TVs. There are 2 possibilities: to minimize image retention and to prevent excessive power consumption (brighter TV == moar pohwah).
Yung bagong "low-end" na OLED ni LG na C7, which was recently reviewed, is an improvement over the B6. Especially in input lag, image retention (which is vastly shorter and less intense), and a bit brighter daw.
Can someone confirm yung bagong TV sa UST chapel is an OLED?
I have a well-lit room. Probably the OLED will work for you but it simply didn't work for me. I belatedly was able to see a side-by-side comparison of the KS and the OLED in a Suking Mall showroom using the LG Chess and Travel 4K clips and found the OLED's blacks to be too crushed and losing out on details. That really surprised me. And all because the OLED's backlight simply couldn't go up to match that of the KS.
I must admit though that the OLED was better for SD content although that is not my consideration for getting a TV.
Actually for a "cheaper" LED TV to beat an OLED, that is surprising. And the reviews in the video above never mentioned anything about price for # 1 and # 2; they simply laid out the features :-)
