Yes pwedeng pwede po I-renew yan. Ang nakasanayan kasi, on the day of expiration nagrerenew para maximized yung days/years na ibabayad. Kasi kung today ka mag rerenew, ang count nyan is today going 5years not on your birthdate after 5 years.

so meaning, if I applied today, ang expiry date ng renewed DL ko will be on April 15, 2024, and not on my birth date in 2024? Or sa birth date in 2024 ang expiry nito?

Gawa ka ng Affidavit of Loss at i-attach mo yun copy ng DL mo, panotaryo mo na din. Dalhin mo yan kapag mag rerenew kg ng DL.

Hintayin mo na lang birthday mo tapos affidavit of loss notarized. Bakit need pa reconstruct ng old license?

Mukhang no choice talaga duplicate and renewal talaga eto nakalagay sa website nila;
5. If ever the driver’s license is lost, what are the requirements and procedures in acquiring one?
The following are the requirements and procedures to wit:
5.1. Affidavit of Loss;
5.2. Law Enforcement Clearance, LTO-Regional Office ( if the application is outside Metro Manila);
5.3. Filing of Certification of License Records-LTO, License Section, East Ave. QC / any LTO Agency.
5.4. Duplicate and renewal (if the driver’s license is renewable) of driver’s license at the LTO – Agency, transact anywhere if previously automated. Please take note that the
renewal of driver’s license is simultaneous with the application of duplicate driver’s license. Licensing Fees varies, it depends on the expiry date & the date of
application with LTO.

Parang unreasonable ano? P1,500 daw bayad sa duplicate (tama ba?) If so, baka mas matipid pa nga sa recto pagawa. And the hassle... susme... I quote ko ulit for emphasis. 2019 na backwards pa rin LTO.

^ contacted LTO main duplicate and renewal talaga mangyayari Kung nawala and mag eexpire na ang license. Yung 1.5k Yun Lang atleast dadalhin na Pera since 450 na daw ang medcert. Nasa 400 plus lang talaga kapag lost lang and Kung di pa for renewal license in my case mag expire na kasi ng June. Sabi din nila 2 months before the expiry pwede na mag renew. Update ako dito next week kapag nalakad ko na LTO. Isipin ko nalang for 5yrs na Yung ibabayad ko sa LTO hahaha.

Mali yata ito....bayad mo na yung license hangang bday mo diba kaya yung bagong fee will begin on your bday and 5years after to end on your bday again 5years from now...

heto para malinaw, kaka-renew ko lang ng DL
expiry date ng DL ko is nung birthday ko, late renewal ako mga 1 week after my birthday. nakalagay na expiry date sa bagong DL ko is on my birthdate in 2024.

^Yan din alam ko birthday talaga. Kaya nagtataka ako nung ipinilit ng isa na hindi sa birthday ang bilang ng expiry, sa date of renewal daw.
