goodbye eeepc...aabot na in 20K+ d2 for sure...thats if u want the 512mb one...theres the sony nanobook na that can compete with it for like additional maybe 5-7k? check the latest news, the one about canada stuff
just checked pccorner, it already reach 21k for the 16gb but theres no ram specified...hopefully its 21k for 16gb and 512ram, oh well if konti lng stock ill go buy something else, im starting not to want asus anymore, im sure there\'ll be more next year

I honestly dont think it can run vista, simply because vista uses 16gb and the highest you can get is 16, unless you plan on bringing an external HD
XP is no problem because I have an backup xp desktop that runs on a P3 866 and 512MB of ram rather well -
C\'mon guys, this is an ultraportable, not a powerhouse laptop that can perform like a desktop replacement. The price of ultraportability is lesser features, mobility over performance speed.

Wondering why Laptop King hasn\'t posted their \"final config\" yet...Sa tpc sellers, wala po bang early birds na magbebenta nito? :)
Can\'t blame anyone though...according to rumors / reports, initial production volume would be low. Plus, specs have gone down - from the initial 4GB 512MB to a measly 2GB 256MB. -

Must have a 12\" or smaller screen though to be in the same class as the eee. We await your suggestions. -

as of now there are no brand new alternative laptop that will equal with regards to specs, size and pricing of asus eee, but for those who really eager to have an ultraportable lappy for now, you can opt to buy 2nd hand P3 systems ibm x series or fujitsu ultraportable laptops -

if im not satisfied with eee actual size, ill just get the 12\" laptop. lets just hope na its really that small, its like the asus 11\" right?
