Lahat ng units ko oversized for the room area pero laban ng todo mga AC units recently. Iba talaga ang init sa labas. Kahit iset mo ng 28 eh kung galing naman sa almost 40 degrees ang kailangan palamigin eh lalaban talaga ang AC.
But it's ok, as in ok na ok. Oo malapit na mag breach ng 5 digits bill ko up from the usual 6-7k for 3 units pero ano lang yun compared sa maospital dahil sa heat stroke and yung hindi ka makatulog sa araw considering na panggabi ang work mo.
And yes, at least kahit laban mode sila, di pa rin naman umaabot sa max operating wattage. 60-70% compressor speed for maintaining temps is still better than always 100% sa mga non inverter. -
So imagine na lang nowadays with this heat yung mga hindi nag oversize na sinunod yung hp/sqm na recommendation ng mga stores?

Basta well insulated yung room kakayanin naman siguro. Pero for sure ma bill shock sila dahil non stop si compressor at almost max wattage.
Sa case ko nga din nanibago ako sa andar na AC namin. Mahigit 3hrs na di pa rin nag ooff ang compressor. Unlike date 30mins lang. Pag na reach na yung 26 deg temp ng room, off na compressor sa 26-27 AC settings. Ngayon naka set din muna sa 28. Starting temp ng room is around 34-35 degrees at around 9pm. After 3hrs, kahit nasa 26 na temp ng room sa thermometer, nasa 300w pa din andar ng AC just to maintain temp. Bumababa naman dahil after 7hrs, nasa ~1-1.5kw lang ang consumption from 12am to 7am. -

Hindi pa sir. Sige subukan ko and I'll check ng consumption. Hindi ko lang na anticipate yung sobrang init ng summer ngayon. Pansin ko kase pag sobrang lamig ng ber months til Feb, usually di naman sobrang init ng summer. Pero ngayon matindi talaga yung init. Efficient pa din naman si AUX. Around 74kw lang konsumo namin last cut off dahil nadoble din usage namin na 24hrs. Just exploring other ways lang to lessen the heatload to make it more efficient. -

Good thing nakita ko itong forum topic na ito.. dati kasi fixated lang ako sa mga sikat an brands.. yun pala meron mga rebadge and other options cheaper and easily matches those popular brands of a/c.
Btw, anybody here tried buying a/c thru lazada and shipped sa mindanao.. concern ko is handling and shipping baka matapat sa careless? Yung "Big Body" Union Inverter na reco ni Sir Godai no where to be found here RXI.. -

Baka same din kay AUX na meron syang outdoor sensor sa may bandang itaas ng fins. Nagtataka din kase ako pag 24hrs open AC ngayon, kahit na reach nya na yung temp around 26 din sa thermometer, di nag ooff ang compressor unlike date nung medyo malamig pa maghapon. Bandang January to early March kahit mainit yung araw, malamig yung hangin. Yung nakita ko nga sa news sa Baguio, yung dating max na 26C daw sakanila umaabot ng 28C which is unusual nga daw sakanila. Almost 2 weeks na yung balita na yun. Eh mas mainit pa hetong mga nakaraan. -

Were thinking to buy either LG or daikin but suggestions are still welcome -
May okay na daikin dealer ba aside sa Ray & J’s? halos same lang offer nila compared pag sa ansons.

I’m very satisfied with Mitsubishi, my oldest one is a 2.5hp Mr. Slim G-Inverter from 2011 that we use every night from 9pm to 12 noon the next day, it’s still working, never had any problems with it. My parents’ house also has Mitsubishi split type units, no issues aside from the usual leaking that can happen to any split (due to either lack of maintenance or improper cleaning from incompetent techs). No experience with LG split but my neighbor has a bunch of LG split units and I noticed recently that they replaced one with a different brand. I can only assume that it broke down and the repair was cost-prohibitive. -
Good Day. Finally bought a replacement from my damage LG Inveter (L150 Model), Same specs pa rin ang binili ko, understandable na din kase na malapit kami sa dagat and hindi talaga maiiwasan ang corrosion. Plano ko kase sa house nalang mag palinis para makita ko din paano nila nililinis yung unit. dati kase dinadala ng mga tech sa labas, any suggestion na brand for electric water pressure machine?

newly installed 2hp tcl gold kei ST for living room 25sqm.
so far so good napapalamig naman buong baba at 27 temp and eco mode. pero pansin ko ung consumption average is at 700w.
question ko po is need pa ba isara ung mga gilid stairs?
loft type po ung house and sinaraduhan ung space sa baba para maging buo ung second floor sa taas.

Grabe tagal ng wlcme hme, di pa daw nagbibigay ng stock Union para sa UGAIR-12001-INV. Gamitin ko sana to sa 2 room na tig 6 sqr m. Mag-exhaust set up sana ako.
Tumawag ako kay Brun and they offered me 28k para sa dalawang 1hp. Wala na silang 1.5hp, sayang 1k lang difference. Sa August pa daw magkaka-stock.
Sa tingin nyo? Cancel ko nalang tong kay Union and go na ko kay Brun? Or may masuggest pa kayong ibang options. Salamat! -

dalawang sensor pala nakainstall, one from the inside indoor unit while the other nasa labas probably sa condenser... so siguro yung sensor sa loob inside unit sa room even if na meet na yung setpoint na say 26C pero yung nasa condenser na sensor which is factory set to whatever setpoint temp eh hindi pa kaya hindi nag off compressor.. pero pag both meets their respective set points saka mag off compressor...yun nga lang pag palaging hindi na satisfy yung conditions nung dalawang sensor palaging naka andar si compressor.. hula ko lang ito haha.. baka may mga opinions a/c experts -

observe mo muna. cold air stays down, warm/hot goes up. then if the cold air creeps upstairs(which i hardly doubt), you need to have that staircase enclosed.
with our current climate, 700W average(?) for a 2hp isn't that bad at all. mag drop pa naman yan once stable na ang room temp mo. you are setting your target temp just right to achieve efficiency, maintain mo lang yan. -
Grabe 37°C peak outside temp here sa south metro for the past few days hindi na yata bumababa ng 30°C lowest temp. Malaking bagay talaga oversizing it cools the room with ease kahit sa kasagsagan nito summer it can manage with 25°C to 27°C set temp . Those planning to buy pa lang , do consider to get at least .5hp higher than the recommended capacity vs room size, it will benefit you in the long run.

Concern ko din to before pero no need to worry about that. Like what statix said, lage sa taas ang warm and cold naman sa baba. But won't hurt to monitor pa din although samin same setup no need naman sara yang staircase. -
