PLDT MyDSL vs SkyCable broadbrand (cable internet)

  ano bang mas ok sa dalawa, dsl or cable internet?
  ok so i have both with pldt as our dsl for a couple of years and skycable just installed their broadbrand (for a free 15 days trial).
  
  both have 3mpbs speed.. reading almost the same speed at speedtest.net.
  however when playing heroes of newerth, choppy un sa skycable. what im asking is bakit ganun? pag browsing, downloading ok naman..
  
  installed in our house with a router. may iba pa bang configuration ang broadbrand sa router or same lang as dsl?
  heroes of newerth shouldn\'t be lag because it\'s server based unlike on garena which is host-basedmaglalag un sasali sayo pag magkaiba kayo ng isp. Eitherway ako naman madalas ang host ingame.

  gusto ko din ng skycable for downloading torrents and net browsing. Konting MMORPG na rin. Recommended kaya? pa-share naman po ng experience niyo dyan.
  Ayoko na sa plan 990 ng pldt laging sira dito at 384kbps lang.

  same prblem (pldt) here in sampaloc manila, currently using bayantel plan 999 wireless broadband 512mbps...mahina nga lang mobility nito, hirap sa ibang area kaya i might switch to landbase dsl of bayantel at 999 1mbps may SOD pa up to 1.5mbps...tamang tama sa 24/7 torrent dl...mas stable pa connection.

  sa tingin ko tama lang ang speed nya for paln 990 kasi 384 lang ang speed nyan(correct me if im wrong)
  
  sa gf ko naman swerte yung plan 990 niya nasa 1.6 ang speed yun nga lang problema is palaging nagddc yung connection

  abandoned topic na to hehe, anyway baka makatulong din..
  
  mabagal recently and very inconsistent connection, putol putol pa minsan.
  there was time before na ok naman and speed was fast.
  Plan: small biz lite, 3mbps, P4000
  Area: Tondo near Tutuban
  1.5 yrs user
  
  And just want to ask, I want to try skycable broadband, ok ba yan pang CCTV camera?

  di mo nakita sa specs/ads or di sinabi sa iyo na capped yan? mag complain ka
  
  walang pakialam ang ISP sa dami ng tao or usage mo. Pero meron silang legal obligation to tell you the specs, lalo na ang cap

  Cable internet - Hati hati kayong lahat sa area. Meaning mas maraming subscriber/gumagamit, mas mabagal ang speed.
  DSL - May solo kang linya/port so kuha mo yung buong speed mo.

  ask lang po, currently i have globe isp, 3mbps. Ok naman sya more than a year na din gamit, nun una palagi na dc, pero ok na sya lately. Gusto ko pa lang sana kumuha pa ng isang isp, iniisip ko kung ano mas ok, ok naman din daw pldt dito sa area namin (PASIG) kaso parang ayaw ko ng dsl connection, madami negative feedback sa pldt ang mga gamers na kakilala ko, so i was thinking kung ok din ba ang skycable na isp? Ano sa tingin nyo mga pafs? Para lang din sa torrents and gaming din FPS games.
  
  then yun globe ko, gawin ko nalang wi-fi connection dito para sa buong family at kapag may bisita.

  Sky Broadband is very good in Alabang. Baliktad dito, PLDT is crap here.

  ang kalaban mo na lang sa cable internet ay yung integrity ng linya. pag nabulok yung cable mo or na tarantado ng mga bobong lineman sa area nyo. punet internet mo.

  sa bayan tell. .mag 2 years na ung samin ngaung june. .ping ng google umaabot ng 2100 ang bagal na. . gusto ko mag palit ng PLDT or SkyCable

  Hi Guys. Gusto ko lng mag survey .planning to switch sa skycable broadband, currently i have 5mbps with pldt kaso sobrang andmi kong problema sa service nila ma pa billing , internet connection. no late payments ako laging updated.
  
  My question is worth it ba kung mag switch ako sa SkyBroadband? planning to avail the 16mbps Plan nila

  Question lang po if meron po sainyo taga City Land sa may Gil puyat na naka Skybroadband? Tapos okay/stable lang po ba siya? for gaming sana at torrent.
