Unified Help Me Build My Rig (Do not mention/ask for sellers. Build list on page 1)

  • @pauljohn001

If you're using the vga of the mobo then you're not using the capabilities of your 1060. If your monitor has HDMI in, just buy an HDMI cable. If not, then get a VGA to HDMI converter.
  • ^would the vga to hdmi converter make a better video quality?
  • @pauljohn001

As long as the resolution is supported, it should be ok. And video quality should get better overall due to using the 1060. But what exactly do you mean by "quality"? Personally, when my rig was new in 2015, I had to use the included VGA to DVI converter in my Palit GTX 970 to use it with my monitor since it didn't come with HDMI. I got the HDMI cable a month later.

Thanks dito boss. Sapat parin ba yung rx 570 now?

For Gaming and office tools purposes

    i5 6400
    Gigabyte b150m
    Hyperx 2133 8gb
    Rx 570 8gb

Actually decent pa naman ang PC mo for gaming at 1080p, and kung ako nasa sitwasyon mo I would spend the Php 15K sa videocard nalang or maybe videocard + PSU. For office use more than capable parin ang Core i5 6400 pero it would be nice kung naka SSD ka na para mabilis ang response sa Windows.

With a videocard upgrade malaki ang jump in gaming performance and mapapansin mo kaagad while playing. Yung framerates mo mas mataas and you can play mga demanding games at higher graphics settings. Pero may compromise parin na yung CPU mo is only quad-core so may times na may framerate drops / stutter sa mga CPU demanding scenes. So iwas lang muna sa mga CPU heavy games until maka-upgrade ka na to a better CPU.

Assuming yung PSU mo is a good 550W - 650W model... pwede ka mag-upgrade to these videocards:

    Php 14,670 = Colorful iGame GTX1070Ti Vulcan U Top-V
Php 15,480 = ZOTAC GTX 1660 Ti AMP!

Yung lumang RX 570 8GB pwede mo din i-sell sa 2nd hand market and pambili siya ng PSU or SSD or pandagdag nalang sa CPU upgrade budget mo in the future.

Suggestion ko go for budget case fans tulad ng DeepCool RF140 2-in-1 pack which comes with two 140mm RGB fans. Ang price nasa Php 1,440 so hindi naman masyado mahal pero hindi ako sure kung supported niya ang RGB sync sa motherboard.

Another option is DeepCool CF140 2-in-1 na may addressable RGB at support for 5V A-RGB headers sa motherboard. Pero mas mahal lang at Php 2,040.

Pa suggest naman ng build at around 40-45K with a 1080p monitor. If kaya ng Ryzen 5 2600 or alternative, not sure kasi kung widely available pa 2600 sa market. Also at least 16GB of Ram, decent 256 or 500GB SSD and a 1TB of HDD storage. My friend would be using the PC for work from home tasks and gaming.

    Thanks
