Unified Help Me Build My Rig (Do not mention/ask for sellers. Build list on page 1)

  • @goingblue
    Mga sir patulong po. 30K to 45K budget. TIA!

    Mostly for games and programming.

Hehe.

    Hi sir, assuming may monitor ka na sa bahay this is a decent build for games and programming with your 30K budget:

    30K Option
    CPU: Intel Core i5-7400 = 9,710
    MOB: ASRock B250M Pro4 = 4,350
    RAM: T-Force Vulcan 2x4GB DDR4-2400 (Grey) = 3,300
    HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB (WD10EZEX) = 2,350
    GPU: Palit GTX 1050 StormX 2GB = 5,680
    PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze = 2,570
    ATX: Tecware Quad (White) = 1,900
    -----------------------
    TOTAL = 29,860

    Pero kung willing ka to spend 45K and plan mo gumamit ng virtual machines para makatakbo ng 2 or more databases and application servers, suggestion ko go with a Core i7 and 16GB of memory. Sample build below sir:

    45K Option
    CPU: Intel Core i7-7700 = 16,120
    HSF: Cryorig M9i = 999
    MOB: ASRock B250M Pro4 = 4,350
    RAM: T-Force Vulcan 2x8GB DDR4-2400 (Grey) = 5,580
    SSD: SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SATA = 3,620
    HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB (WD10EZEX) = 2,350
    GPU: Palit GTX 1050 Ti Dual OC 4GB = 7,680
    PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze = 2,570
    ATX: Tecware Quad (White) = 1,900
    -----------------------
    TOTAL = 45,169

    Kung hindi ka naman din nagmamadali mag build kaagad, also wait this March for Ryzen CPU's and motherboards. Baka kasi mas mura ang 4-core / 6-core processors nila with SMT (AMD version of hyperthreading).

    Also I noticed na may Corsair RM 750W PSU ka na binebenta sa IFS mo sir. Why not keep the PSU and re-use mo nalang sa build since maganda naman ang Corsair RM 750 and makakatipid ka pa sa PSU :-)
  • @Jcrain

    cpu: i5 7500
    mon, LG 23MP68VQ 23" IPS 1080p AMD FreeSync 75hz - 7850php
    gpu: rx480 + OC 8g DDR5
    Ram: ballistix 8g
    hdd: wd 1tb

  • @ejaymesa
    Naka a4 series po akong CPU ngayon.

    Ask ko lang po if ok na to upgrade sa G4560 + DDR3 Board(Main reason gusto ko pa po gamitin yung current RAM ko)??

    Main game lang is NBA2K at Dota2 at 720p lang po since 14' lang naman monitor ko. Ok din po kaya FPS ko nito?

    Hindi ko ma-recommend gumamit ng DDR3 memory with Pentium G4560 or any Skylake / Kabylake processor.

    Ano pala full specs ng PC mo sir and planned budget?
  • @kokoyrivera
    Pa quote naman po sana ako. 27k budget po.
    For gaming like dota2 na 1080p settings and other new games po. With/out monitor, hhd po.

Pero assuming nasa 1920x1080 ang resolution niya, here is a decent build for Php 25K baka magustuhan mo lang:

    CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 = 2,890
    MOB: ASRock B250M Pro4 = 4,350
    RAM: T-Force Vulcan 2x4GB DDR4-2400 (Grey) = 3,300
    GPU: Sapphire RX 470 NITRO+ OC 4GB = 9,980
    PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze = 2,570
    ATX: Tecware Quad (White) = 1,900
    -----------------------
    TOTAL = 24,990

    Kung kaya mo pa i-stretch ang budget mo to Php 30K pwede natin i-fit ang Core i5-7400 + GTX 1050 Ti 4GB sa build para naka quad-core processor ka na. Although malakas naman ang performance ng Pentium G4560 for games at siya na yung cheapest processor available na recommended for gaming builds.

    and kung saan po mismong store bibili

    Sorry sir hind po pwede mag-banggit ng PC shops dito. PM mo nalang kami sir to get that info :-)

    Guys need help. Planning to build a PC for storage use only para sa business pang back-up ng files. patulong ano maganda set-up. :) important is board na madami kabitan ng sata, sata3 ofcourse, madami din kabitan ng hard drives na case. :D

    Hi sir, yung pinaka-simple and less hassle na option is bumili ng NAS or DAS tulad ng mga Probox enclosures then add nalang po kayo ng harddrives:

    Probox Hotway HF2-SU3S2-B 4-Bay DAS = Php 5,770
    <click here for link>

    QNAP TS-420 4-bay NAS = Php 15,890
    <click here for link>

    Pero kung gusto niyo sir magbuo talaga ng PC based NAS tulad ng FreeNAS builds, check mo sir yung forum thread below. Inquire ka din sir kay boyett since may running FreeNAS builds siya sa thread :-)

    Network Attached Storage (NAS)

    Parang baligtad, puro pang-Windows.

Already explained it here <click here for link>

  • @mastercritic82
    alam mo na boss ibig kong sabihin, madalang isama sa budget so assume ko linux or jack sparrow

    Huwag mag assume sir, that's a narrow minded attitude.

    Same lang yan with gaming builds.
  • o kaya naka linux

    magbi build ako ng Ryzen based cpu isasama ko O.S. windows 10 home 64 bit . . . around 25k siguro

    time to retire my i3 2100 . . .

  • @markyq3tpc

    100k gaming/photo/video editing PC

    cpu, Intel Core i7-7700k 4.2-4.5 Ghz 4-core Kabylake - 17790php
    mobo, Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming 5 - 11600php
    ram, Gskill Trident Z 32GB 16GBX2 ddr4 3200 - 13950php
    ssd, Samsung 850 Evo 500GB - 8390php
    hdd, 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB - 7380php
    gpu, Palit GTX 1070 Super JetStream 8gb - 22400php
    psu, Seasonic G-650 650Watts 80Plus Gold - 4650php
    atx, InWin 303 Tempered Glass - 4850php
    hsf, Corsair H100i V2 Liquid Cooling - 5450php

    ---96460php

    *Since more on gaming ka, not sure on how high you want to OC, more than enough yung Giga Gaming 5, pwede ka parin mag upgrade sa high end mobo kung kakailanganin mo ng mas maraming USB ports
    *Pinili ko ang 500GB SSD compared sa 250GB SSD dahil usage mo, mas importante ang mas maraming storage space. Photographer din kasi ako at kinihulang na ang 3TB ko dito at 250GB SSD

    Pogi ba?

    @poweraux

    Supported ng board mo hanggang i7-7700K so update ka lang ng BIOS

    @adonis_gm

    Tanong ko lang if ever na mag sli ako in the future kasya pa din ba diyan sa case na yan?

    Yep kaya SLI/Crossfire

    Hindi ba masikip?

    Depende to sayo paps. IMHO tama lang pero kung gusto mo ng mas malaki na case, mag full tower ka na, check mo yung InWin 509 TG

    https://www.inwin-style.com/en/gaming-chassis/509

    Tapos saan ipoposisyon maganda ang psu saka water cooling ng cpu?

    Sa taas nakatago yung PSU, ang radiator maganda na top exhaust or front intake

    Ok na din ba ang 16gb nde ba ako Kapusin or mag 32gb ako? TIA

    Kung hindi ka naman madalas mag video editing or heavy sa Photoshop, miske 8GB ay sapat na
  • @Patrekjon

    Most of the time, sa right side ang mga top end ng Silverstone cases
  • @fakuryu

    Thanks for the suggestion pogi ng case :) will check on those parts and review.
  • Sapat na ba surge protector or kailangan ba talaga mag AVR or UPS? And what are good surge protectors available here in the philippines?
  • @Aekron
    Sapat na ba surge protector or kailangan ba talaga mag AVR or UPS? And what are good surge protectors available here in the philippines?

    Depends if your area has stable voltage. Personally, I'd go with a minimum of an AVR and a surge protector. Our area has stable voltage but it does fluctuate rarely and during these times I hear the motor of my servo AVR kicking up in order to stabilize the voltage. The best surge protector I've seen that's locally available is the Huntkey PZA503-4 with three levels of surge protection. It's also unique in that all the sockets can be turned on by just turning on the computer, meaning your peripherals won't be powered until you turn on the PC.

    Lastly, remember that if you use a UPS there's still an unresolved issue with using simulated sine wave UPSes with PSUs that have power factor correction (PFC), which is pretty much the standard nowadays. Anecdotes have shown that such UPSes can destroy PSUs with PFC, with the only real solution being the use of a full sine wave UPS, which are much more expensive than simulated sine wave ones.
