Windows 10 TH2 (Threshold 2) Thread

  • I just bought a MSI GE72 6QC at pinagdagdagan ko ng SSD. Di ko lang nagustuhan ginawang partition sa HDD and gusto ko rin sana i clean install ang WIN 10. After ko magbasabasa, still hesitant ako ireinstall using system update kasi wala akong ISO file ng WIN 10 at wala na rin driver kasama yung box di ko alam kung normal lang yun.

Pwede ko bang i format both ssd and hdd ng laptop ko during installation mg win10?
After ko mag install ng win10, installed na rin ba driver ng laptop ko?

    usually but there are exceptions

para sure just go to the msi website and manually download all the relevant drivers then install them one by one after installing windows.
As an alternative there are supposed to be programs that can look at already installed drivers then make a backup so you can quickly install drivers in a newly installed OS. Have not tried any so try it at your own risk

my asus laptop also didnt come with anything except win 10 OS installed, manual, laptop bag, power brick and box. No driver dvd

download mediacreationtool.exe here then make an ISO or a bootable USB.

not sure, but you can easily find out once you boot from the ISO since there is a part where you can format and create/delete partitions.

Otherwise its easy to just unplug the second HDD, install windows 10 + drivers then plug in the second HDD and format it
  • thank you po, now creating my bootable USB.
  • Windows 10 overtakes XP and 8.1 to become second most-used OS in the world, but still way behind 7 <click here for link>

  • dami pa din XP users
  • Ok kaya na mag-upgrade ako from Win7 X64 to Win10 for my Core2Quad 4GB RAM PC?

Mine never hangs sa lock/ide since naka "low power idle" siya at fully awake with screen off.
  • San makikita bro?

Naka high performance nako sa power settings ko and walang sleep, display lang namamatay after 3 minutes.

Sa driver naman ng NIC ko wala ako makita nung tinutukoy mo, intel nic, btw.

    Nakita ko na:
    Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    :(

Naka desktop pala ako, ngayon ko lang na experience to.
