I got an LG F4015RN4VC that can launder for 10 people on one load. :-|
It replaces the 9kg washer/8kg spinner 3D TW-9000DX Twin Tub Washing-Machine that we have been using for over a decade. A relay/fuse popped so it gave us an excuse to buy. The purchase has been in the running for over 2 years.
I only discovered about the buyer's guide of thegoodguys.com.au today.
It gave the equation of how much washer capacity you need in kilogram per person.
It is 1.5kg to 1.75kg of laundry per person.
gauch214, LG installer suggested that jeans be included in the batch for "Cotton".
If you still have your LG installer's phone number you should contact them to ask for other details.

@gauch214 it is the largest washer&dryer available in the market. I should have gone with the 8kg washer/4kg dryer WD-1496VDT and save P14,400.

Bought a panasonic top loader couple of months ago but i need to relocate it to a new house now. Pwede kaya sya i load sa car on its side? Natabi ko yung parang plastic na ilalagay daw sa ilalim when transporting but not sure kung pwede nakahiga sya i byahe.

@ewanko depende po sa washer na gagamitin nyo po sa condo. Ang alam ko po sa FAWM kahit nkataas un hose lalabas pa din yung tubig dahil meron pump ito. Im not sure reaaly kung sa front load lang or meron din sa top load.

Noob question..
Pag nagpapa-laundry ako sa mga laundry stations na may Front load FAWM, halos hindi na kailangan plantsahin kasi mainit pa yung damit paglabas at tuyong tuyo na, though meron sila separate dryer. Ma-aachieve ba ito pag bibili ng FL FAWM?
Nagback read ako and may mga model na all in one na 8kg washer / 4kg drier. Ibig sabihin ba hindi pwede derecho mag dry pag above 4kg yung damit?

@roceanoz, hindi naman sya tumigil and wala naman kameng narinig na unusual sound saying na nag-error sya, mejo worried lng ako na sumobra yung bula while we were using normal dami (1 scoop main wash and half scoop prewash) ng detergent.
And one question pa pala sa mga fron-load users, tlga bang tumatagal ng more than 2hours ang isang normal cycle na wash, sample setting is Cotton.

YUng sa amin kasi nade-detect nya na masyadong mabula kaya nagbe-beep sya and tinitigil nya wash cycle. Di aabot na may aapaw. Then may lalabas na suds sa water outlet. Pindut lang ulit mag resume na sya. In your case I think wala namang problema dun baka nagkataon lang na kaunti naisalang and di masyadong madumi mga damit or depende din sa fabric kaya naging mas mabula. Bawasan mo na lang ginagamit mong detergent. Btw, anong detergent ba gamit mo?
Depende sa wash program kung gaano katagal. Yes, umaabot ng 2 hours ang ibang wash cycle. 1 hr 50 minutes yata yung regular wash namin. Meron hanggang 3 hours. Di ba ikaw naman ang magse-set kung anong program pipiliin mo which will determine kung gaano sya katagal. And based on my experience accurate sya to the minute.

nung na-experience namin yun, mejo marami yung nakasalang, abot ata sa max na level dun sa clear door. gamit ni misis is breeze liquid ata (which is mas mabula pansin namin compared to tide powder). ung sa model kasi namin is walang led indicating kung gano katagal (not sure if you have that as well). paano nyo po nasabi na accurate sya? fixed ba timing for every pre-set? parang hindi kasi pag ino-orasan namin, mukhang depende pa din sya sa load...

May fawm specific na detergent. Di ko alam kung pang automatic yang liquid breeze, di yata.
Yes, may nakalagay kung gaano katagal kada pili ng program sa fawm namin. Then may led display naka timer kun gaano pa katagal bago matapos and kung anong stage na sya. Makikita mo din dun kung ano-ano nakapasok sa program for example temperature ng tubig. Accurate yung timer kasi kung 1hr45mins nakaprogram, talagang after 1hr45mins tapos na sya, tutugtug na hehe. Kaya minsan niti-timer ko sa CP ko para alam ko kailan ko babalikan while I do other things.

In order to dry clothes, dapat maka-circulate ang hot air sa damit. So 4 kg is the optimum you should load to ensure there is plenty of space for air circulation. You can test it. Load 8 kg. Some will still be wet after you finish the dry cycle, yung mga nasa gitnang damit.
Washing is a different matter because water can penetrate clothes kahit puno ang washing machine. Hence, you can load 8 kg.

I know laundry detergents for FAWM are low suds (minimum bubbles) and dishwashing liquids are not, so you will risk too much suds which can damage your FAWM. So if you are willing to try, use less dishwashing liquid. :-) Good luck and keep us posted. :-)

What Is High Efficiency Laundry Detergent?
Any laundry detergent or laundry product like stain removers, boosters and even fabric softeners with the HE symbol are formulated to be used in high efficiency washing machines like front load washers as well as top load washers. High efficiency washers - both front and top load - use much less water than an older standard washer. The HE detergents are developed as low-sudsing and quick dispersing cleaners for use in low water volume machines. HE detergents are developed to hold soil in suspension in that lower volume of water so it is not re-deposited onto clean clothes.
Why Do I Need To Use A High Efficiency Laundry Detergent?
Most Americans grew up using a standard washer that pulled nearly 40 gallons of water through a load of laundry during the wash and rinse cycles. Housewives wanted to see lots of bubbles because they thought that meant the clothes were getting clean.
Fortunately, the washer used enough water to rinse away all those suds. Even the newer standard top load washers use around 27 gallons of water to handle detergent/soil residue. However, high-efficiency washers use only 11 to 14 gallons of water.
Using a traditional laundry detergent in a high-efficiency washer will produce too many suds that can never be rinsed away.
Excess suds will interfere with the tumbling action in both types of high efficiency washers used to clean clothes. The use of traditional detergent with lots of suds can also cause the washers to leak, damage the electronic system of the washer and may void the manufacturer's warranty.
The use of traditional detergents in HE washers also contributes to the growth of mold and the odor that can linger in the washer. There just isn't enough water used in each load to wash away all the suds and the soil they contain and that sticky combination may cling to the washer. Those suds and the soil they contain are perfect breeding grounds for mold.

I was told to read the labels that indicates that the detergent are for front loading washers.

Ano po ba magandang laundry soap para sa front load LG? Bagong bili lang po kasi, eh napansin ko po sa thread na may specific soap po pala dapat sa Front loaders... Pwede po malaman kung ano po magandang gamit niyong laundry detergent for Front loaders? Thank you po :)
