Do you mean VLAN tagging a NIC port to be specifically used by a vm?

parang di ko gets.... meron naman talagang VLAN tagging sa vm's through your vNIC's. As far as i know capable si ESXi and hyper-v nito.
Ano ba goal mo? -
^ na curious lang ako sa mga regular nics lang na naka 802.3 lang ang supported.
If ever na magsetup ako ng kvm + vlan using 802.3 lang ang supported, automatic ba na magkakaron siya nang 802.1q as virtual nic?
May manage switch kase ako supported nya yung vlan ang magkakatalo lang eh yung nic na gagamitin na in physically di supported ang vlan pero kung padadaanin ko sya sa kvm magkakaron kaya to?
In theory ko palang kase next week pa ko magkakaron ng spare unit. -

sir tanong ko lang ano pa po ba pede kong pag aralan sa windows azure meron kasi akong azure pass for 1 mos gusto ko ma-maximize ito sayang kasi kung di ko man lang mapag lalaruan. ang mga nasubukan ko na dito yung pag create ng vm, storage, blob, cloud services, creating of virtual networks, point to site vpn. Suggest naman mga sir kung ano pong magandang pag-aralan dito. Thanks

they are using ubiquiti antenna to connect 3 seperatede building na may cctv.
di ko alam ung model pero sabi nya
point to multi-point ubiquiti antenna (160mbps)
geolink(not sure) PoE switch (2gb afaik) ito ata ung 192.168.128.x na i.p ng cam sya ata nag susupply ng i.p
ung switch na ito(geolink) nakakabit sa tp-link n750 namin. ung n750 naman namin is ung pinaka internet source namin and wifi.

mga sir, im currently evaluating sophos utm, just downloaded it and install. nagawa ko na ang basic configurations like web filtering, application control, policies, etc. ang hindi ko pa po nagagawa ay ang iapply sa specific user ang isang policy na nagawa ko kasi di ko makita ang mga users na na naka connect sa utm, me kulang po ba sa ginawa ko?

AD integrated ba mga internet users mo sa sophos or not? If not you need to add it one by one or integrate it with AD to automatically populate the user objects. Then create a web filtering profile (per interface,AD group or user).
Kung di mo gets may built-in help manual yan on every option ng utm click mo lang ung parang question mark na icon sa up.er right. -

Sino na nakapag deploy dito ng Zentyal domain + email in a prod environment? Kumusta ang performance and ano specs ng hardware na ginamit nyo?
Plano ko gamitin si zentyal para sa sideline ko para sa mga walang budget mag Microsoft AD and Exchange hehe -
mga sir patulong naman balak ko kasi mag test mag create ng secondary domain controller sa azure yung primary ko nasa on-premise at yung secondary nasa cloud. bale ang connections nila through point to site vpn. nakaka connect nako from on premise na pi-ping ko yung ip nung vm ko sa azure at kapag sinusubukan kong i-access yung IP address nung azure vm sa Run na-aaccess ko naman. Ang problema ko di ko ma ping from azure vm to on-premise kaya di ko rin magawang makapag create ng secondary domain controller sa azure. naka disable na yung firewall both sa azure at sa on-premise at ginawan ko rin ito ng virtual network sa azure. ano kaya problem nito patulong na lang mga master. sir tanong ko lang possible po ba na makapag create ako ng secondary domain controller sa azure using point to site vpn ang connectivity? pag nagkokonek ako using vpn client package from on-premise to azure vm napiping ko yung IP address ni azure vm, then from azure vm naman ang napiping ko yung VPN IP Address sa on-premise na nalease nya. Pero yung mismong IP Address ng on-premise ko hindi nya na piping.
Kailangan ba dapat site to site vpn ang gamitin ko? Ano kaya problem dito? -

then ito naman yung tracert ko from azure to on-premise, yung unang tracert ko dyan is yung IP na nalease ko sa VPN sa on-premise, then yung pangalawang tracert ko is yung mismong IP Address ni host
btw virtual machine din yung gamit ko sa on-premise at naka static po yung IP Address nya at ito po yung details nya
IP: 10.0.1.10
SM: 255.255.255.224
GW: 10.0.2.2
DNS: 10.0.1.10
at ito naman po yung IP Address ni Azure VM
IP: 10.0.1.4
SM: 255.255.255.224
GW: 10.0.1.1

yung 10.0.1.4 yung mismong IP ni VM sa Azure
yung 10.0.0.8 vpn point to site configured subnets
yung 10.0.1.10 yung mismong IP Address sa on-premise na inasign ko sa LAN Card.
point to site po sya. so ano po dapat kong gawin?

Tanong po so ayaw magboot ng computer ko, no beep, no display. ok naman ang hdd.
Meron akong spare computer na meron ding license Win XP.
Nilagay ko yung hdd from dead mobo, ok naman nagboot everything is ok but yung license nya eh kelangang reactivate.
gagamitin ko ba yung licence na nilagay ko sa computer ko na nadedo or yung license ng spare computer ko.
Both computer has WinXP. -

Yung wifi-router ba pede lagyan ng 4g dongle thru usb port? Let say meron ako usb modem na 4g capable tapos connect ko sa wifi router, then yung wifi-router ang magiging reciver ng signal then distribute sa mga wireless gadget. Ganun po pa yun? or merong special software and or specific unit para gumana?
The concept is gusto ko features ng router pero meron lang aq internet sim, so gsto ko magamit features ng router using internet 4g sim.
Bale ganito po sana flow ng connection:
4g modem with sim > wifi router > wireless gadgets.

mga sir patulong naman po about Exchange Server hybrid deployment bale kasi pinasa lang itong project sa akin bale naconfigure ko na yung send connector smart host sa on-premise nakakapag send and receive na sila using exchange ang problem ko na lang yung sa Office 365, ang sabi sa akin yung TXT Record na lang daw dapat ipa-add. Paano ba isetup yung sa Office 365? Wala kasi ako Idea...

Access Point ba yung tinutukoy mo? Wireless Gigabit Router ang okay then set mo as access point para maximize mo yung wireless signal para sa mga users mo. -
