US Online Shopping - Pobox, JAC, LBC, MSB, etc (FAQ on page 241, Stolen items on page 208)

  • @rxchard
They used Forex , MSB, or Pobox ata.
  • Hello,

Does anyone know anong problema ng Shipping Cart these days? Dami nagrereklamo on FB and the only way na makakuha ka ng reply sa email is if magpost ka sa FB nila. Daming delays kahit AIR, more than 1 week na wala pa ring update at d pa rin daw na tuturn over for loading sa container. They said it themselves wala namang holidays sa US last week.

2 years pa lang ako nagshship via SC.

Kahit efollow up sa kanila wala namang magagawa kasi d pa rin nagmomove yung boxes. Im waiting for 3.
  • Same issue with my parcels shipped through air and sea cargo in the past 3 months. Most likely hindi na kaya ng LBC ang volume ng shipments so malamang nga malaki problema nila. Also, well known issue ngayon ang congestion sa ports natin. Hindi na ako gumagamit ng SC since then.

  • I paid SC April 17 morning, di ko na inasahan yung 4-5 days na delivery since Holyweek last week.

Nagmonitor ako status from Thurs to Monday nakalagay lang preparing for shipment (deym)

Tapos kahapon nakatanggap akong email from SC na for shipping na with tracking number.

Tapos kanina before lunch lumapag na epektos ko. So kung bibilangin weds to weds (1week) andito na.

Just remember to pay in USD since mas mura yung conversion charges ng credit card.

  • I don't think $150 lang yan kung shipping direct to PH. Kung gusto mo na at wala ng hassle, then just buy here.

    1. Create ng account sa Johnny Air
    2. Orderin yung laptop through HP using yung shipping address na na-indicate ni Johnny Air
    3. Confirm yung tracking number and order details sa kanila, tapos i-track yung status ng shipment using their app
(like Megamall)

    --

Ganito po ba mga sir? If may mabibigay po kayo additional advice I'm all ears po. First time ko lang po kasi gagawin and buying a laptop is a big investment for me. Bukod sa may discount, mas maganda po kasi yung specs ng laptop dun sa HP kesa sa mga available dito sa atin (from what I was able to see online).
  • If it's a big investment, have you considered the risk of not having warranty?
  • @geoff

    Ano na gamit mo?
  • @Connor
Yes po. As long as walang maging hardware issue pag dating sakin (fingers crossed) nung laptop, I should be able to troubleshoot any other issue that may arise. Bukod sa sale, the specs of the laptop directly from the HP website is better.
  • @geoff

    Ano na gamit mo?

JAC Plus na gamit ko. Madalas na ako nagkakaproblema sa SC since November last year pa, especially pag nasa LBC na ang package.

Yep, ganun nga although may additional fees for mobile phone, tablets and laptops. Better yet, puntahan or tawagan mo office nila for more details. Maayos naman kausap mga staff nila.
Regarding shipping insurance, I think SC lang ang nag-offer nun nakalimutan ko up to $500 ata.

  • comGateway try nyo. Mukhang ok. Kung sino willing maging guinea pig hehe.

Just a warning to future items nyo. SC is tagging special handling fee for every item na wifi capable. And limited to 2 items of those per shipment.

    What's your take on this?

-- Is MSB really 7-10 days air cargo? How fast are they to put items in cart after receiving it in their warehouse?

Mukang ok to masubukan nga. May options kasi for well-known and reliable couriers.

Apparently, bagong China-based company ang APEX and Ninjavan. That explains everything hehe

  • Ninja van yan gamit ng Shopee at Lazada. Hundred of thousands or even million transactions per day.

According to AMZ, they use multiple couriers like APEX, Ninjavan etc. for shipping to PH. Best option nalang talaga is to use a forwarder when buying abroad.

Total rip-off ang direct shipping nila. We're paying for expedited or global priority shipping pero parang mas mabilis pa ang EMS lol

  • Hi,

Any recommended shipper for laptops? Planning to buy sa newegg.

I have a co-worker who shipped his laptop via Shipping Cart. Just don't expect too much from their customer support nor will they deliver on time. It's hit or miss based from my experience. JAC Plus is another option but shipping time is usually around 1-2 weeks. Customer support is better than SC but you there's additional fee for door to door delivery. Otherwise, you may claim your package in their SM Megamall or Makati branch. Take note, they both charge additional handling fee for laptops, tablets and mobile phones. I hope it helps.
  • @geoff114

Thanks, Sir for the info! Will check jac.
  • Port congestion has started to ease na. Worst is over. Some importers who shifted to Batangas port is now slowly going back to Manila ports.
I think shippingcart has a deeper issue. LBC service is pretty bad.
I temporarily stopped buyng in amazon and also stopped using shipping cart.
Wala pa naman nasira or nawala akong item sa shipping cart. Sobrang bagal lang talaga.
Tested ko na sila. Hindi lang talaga maganda service this past months. Dati 5 weeks lang ang sea shipment.
  • ^what courier are you planning to use next?
  • safe ba yung AMAZON EXPEDITED SHIPPING? and door to door din ba?
dati kasi may standard shipping (bagsak sa postal)
    ngayon 2 na lang choices

    EXPEDITED and PRIORITY shipping.
  • Hello!

Tanong lang po ulit, sa mga nakapag paship po ng laptop dito.. how much inabot ng shipping?
Sulit ba? Laki kasi price diff ng laptop dito vs US
    Thanks!
  • Hello po bago lang po ako dito. Plano ko sana bumili sa US with shippingcart kaso nababasa ko mga sinasabi niyo na ang bagal ng service, any suggestions po na ibang freight forwarder or courier na mura lang? Cheapest sana based sa inyong past orders and experiences.

Amazon is shipping orders through APEX and Ninjavan. Both couriers are based in China and are completely unreliable. In fact, one of my item's box arrived in poor condition. Another order is a week late without any explanation from the two companies. Their couriers are kind of rude too.

Napipilitan ako gumamit SC Air ulit dahil diyan.

Nag email sila na they take customer feedback seriously blah blah tapos binigyan ako ng $5 coupon for my next purchase.
