  • I missed out on a free logitech g402, ghost recon and an effing trolley :(
  • noob question.

may visible effect ba yung HIGHER refresh rate monitors (120-180hz) kapag naglalaro ka ng PS4/XBOX one and low fps games (probably 30-60fps?). Kita ba difference vs sa 60hz monitor? thanks
  • ^wala.

you need to reach 80FPS+ to notice a difference in fluidity, smoothness etc.

sa console, we use a normal 1080p HDTV or Monitor 60hz
  • @Esdeath

I think if you plug a console like PS4 Pro or Xbox One to a 144Hz PC monitor, it will automatically set the refresh rate of the monitor to 60Hz. The HDMI output of a console can only deliver video at 60Hz so I'm sure you will not be able to use the 144Hz mode of the monitor.

(Maybe future consoles like PS5 or Xbox Scorpio might support higher than 60Hz refresh rates, but not sure if that will happen)

If your TV has 120Hz or 240Hz motion interpolation or some similar feature, you can make your console game look smoother motion-wise on those TV's.

  • ^ the bigger the better! lol
  • nakakainis minsan mga companies, bat di nila nilalagay ung panel type x.x
  • @penatbater

true 8 bit panel ba gamit nila
    input lag

Parating "gaming" monitor.
  • LG 29UC88 <click here for link>

    2560 x 1080
    curved IPS panel
    75 Hz
    Free Sync

  • Meron dito 29UM68. Di ko alam ano difference. Parang pareho lang.
  • Meron na ba nag Benq GC2870 dito?
  • @drunkonpiss2

  • @MrBungle

May motion blur tests si PCMonitors.info sa AOC AG352UCG, which is most likely using the same 35-inch 100Hz VA panel as the HP Omen X35. Based on their tests yung medium overdrive setting produced the best results at 100Hz. You might want to check it out.

Kung may backlight strobing feature ang HP Omen X35 that can reduce any noticeable blurring or ghosting on-screen... but at the expense of G-Sync.

  • @sleepygeepy

Interesting.

    TL;DW
Yung net code pala ng Battlefield, 60Hz or 30Hz yung tick rate ng server/client for everything except yung damage data na same yung tick rate base sa frame rate ng game so kung say 120fps tumatakbo yung game, yung hit damage sa kalaban na binabaril ko ay nag-uupdate ng 120hz na tick rate kumpara kung 45fps lang yung game so naguupdate lang yung hit damage sa kalaban ng 45hz lang. Of course this is assuming maganda ang ping in the first place.

Damn!
