Good morning. Asking for some help regarding my wired connection. Tried connecting my laptop to our PLDT Home Fibr | Huawei HG8145V GPON router. I used a 20m Cat6e cable i bought. Yung problem ko is stuck siya sa unplugged and identifying hindi siya nag cconnect. I tried the lan cable provided by PLDT and working naman siya sa laptop ko. Yung 20m cat6e cable na nabili ko working din sa PS4 ko pero sa laptop ayaw gumana. Did someone had the same experience? Can anyone help me with this? Do i need a Crossover cable or a straight through cable for this? Thanks in advance.

well as you said, its working on other device but not in your laptop, so go diagnose your laptop for possible software issue (eg, disabled adapter or drivers not installed), its also possible that it is a hardware issue so your only possible fix for this if this is just buy a USB LAN adapter.
