Dull but clear. Mejo malabo ba? haha. Terminated agad after the last letter nung word. Parang ang labas, ino-on or off yung mic for every sound delivered to it.

gusto ko po sana bumili ng headset at sound card (kailangan po ba talaga?), i'll be using it for transcription work. here are my priorities:
1) life-like sound for voices
2) comfort - i'll be wearing it for long periods of time, yung durable pero hindi po sana masyadong mabigat
3) noise cancelling
i'm hoping it wont exceed my 5k budget, but im willing to extend since investment ko to sa equipments for work. salamat sa inyo mga boss
If voice clarity and noise cancelling ang priority sir, I recommend any headset na optimized for skype for business / lync. May built in soundcard na din usually and plug and play lang.

Di naman ako mag professional vocal artist or anything. basta mic hehe

Thanks sa scarlett feedback sir. I'm using BM800 pair with 50php usb soundcard as its phantom power. When the Mic Boost (50% level) is enabled there's a "noise" in the background, I want to eliminate that noise so that I can operate with Open-Mic not push to talk. The noise disappear without the boost but I need to be face to face with the mic just to use it.
Anong usb soundcard yan na P50 that can provide phantom power that is 48v?

Kung limited budget, I highly recommend the Samson Go Mic.
Overkill ang use ng large diaphragm condenser microphones for gaming. Very sensitive mga yan. Maliit na ingay will pick up the sound. Unless naka soundproof room mo or acoustically treated. Those mics are really for recording.
If you plan to use usb audio interfaces with xlr mic inputs, Focusrite is a good brand.
For dynamic microphones, Shure Beta 58A is the best. For budget dynamic mics, check out Prodipe at Lazer, Samson Q7 and Shure PG57 at Audiophile,

Pareho lang siya actually but the Samson Go Mic has 2 mics. One in front and one at the back so puede siya maka pickup 360 degrees.
But if you don't need that feature, go for the Meteor.

Anung phantom power source mo pre? or USB version yan?
@lucas
no fad naman sir, i think minority lang kaming nag iisip bumili nang mic for higher fidelity of voice when conversing in game. or basta electronically.
Tsaka sir, topic of the moment lang to, it will come to pass ;)

Get the ones that has a headphone out sa usb mic for better monitoring. Walang latency. May latency yan pag nasa computer ang headphones out mo.

May disjoint kang nafi-feel. That's why I turn off listening sa OS ko, then connect an IEM via the raw monitoring port. Tapos may nakapatong pakong Over-ear headset for the sounds.

tama sir no, dynamics are for instrument recording? I can stick to my condenser mic for voice?

ah okay sir. It was just an honest question. oo nga pala for multiplayer games pala yan. mostly kasi eh single player mode lang ako. sorry for my ignorance and thank you for enlightening me. akala ko madami ang nagstream or hosting sa youtube eh. yun kasi ang impression ko sa nakikita ko sa rigs unlimited philippines sa FB eh.

So mejo hindi malayo yang kutob niyo.
I'm surprised though, hindi pala kayo nag multiplayer? Parang I remember your tpc handle.. nagda-darksouls kayo diba? pero FPS hindi niyo thing? or multiplayer online?
Anyway, no harm done. So your apology was not necessary.

Dynamic mics are best for live performances, not necessarily for instruments. Pag hindi acoustically treated ang room mo, best ang dynamic because it only picks up the sound in front of the mic. Ang LDC (large diaphragm condensers) picks up the sound of the whole room.

Cdrking 50php soundcard sir. I just use the term "phantom power" since when the boost mode is enabled I can use the mic from afar versus no boost. Downside lang talaga yung noise. Sorry if I misused the term.
Sample recording:
1 foot away talking in normal voice volume with and without boost.

I'm not sure kung may risk maka sira ng headset itong cdrking soundcard. For the sound quality hindi siya ok para sakin since pinag compare ko yung on-board soundcard ng motherboard ko vs dito, mas ok yung sa mobo.
Yung sa Encore naman sayang walang volume boost for Mic but panalo in terms of improved sound quality[loudness] vs onboard (Realtek ALC662).

Nag amplify lang yung sound.
Not only clean signal was boosted, even white noise was boosted.
