Good Morning,
Our Pajero caught fire yesterday and upon checking the aftermath, can the battery be the cause of fire?
For the record this is the first time we bought Amaron Car Batteries since it was a bit cheaper and was recommended. Its been more than a year since we used it.

Paano mo matest yun kung wiring since biglaan lang siya, kaya ba makita ng mekaninko yun for cause of fire?
Based kasi sa hood ng kotse and yung hottest part dun sa part ng battery and Fuse. We can accept that its the fuse BUT I just noticed that it appears the battery burnt from the inside based on the picture which papacheck nga po namain and would like some thoughts

Yeah need mo talaga ipacheck lahat sa pro. katakot naman kakabilli ko lang ng Amaron haha.
Looking at the photo, yung kita ko lang, mukhang buo naman yung battery and hindi leak. Baka loose yung wiring sa terminal tapos tumama sa bakal or exposed wiring sa battery.

mas likely na electrical wiring pinagmulan ng sunog. any modifications done on the vehicle? like change ng lights, horn, accessories, etc?

Nope,
Last change was just LED lights with no modifications sa terminal or anything near sa fuse box or battery since yung sa ilaw lang pinalitan

^katakot naman nyan. Amaron user here pangalawa na since okay yung una ko mahigit 3 years pinakamura pa na amaron go. Ngayon hi-life nakuha ko. Kung walang additional accessories cause for concern yan sa akin.
Ano nga kaya cause?

Dito lang sa amin din. I come from Santa Rosa Laguna kaya dito lang sa mga authorized dealer ng amaron.

Malamang wala yan sa baterya.... Amaron has never been known to cause fires.... wires na nag short mas malamang.
been using Amaron on my scooter for nearly a year na, lakas pa rin.

if clutch cable pa yan, adjust mo cable muna and see if magiging ok
sign yan ng madumi/mababang level ng gear oil. or pwede din malapot yung nakalagay compared sa recommended (yung mga honda maselan sa fluids).

possible wiring yan. wayback 2014 nasunog wiring ng Nissan Patrol ko from Alternator to Battery mabuti nalang naagapan since mabagal takbo sa loob village namin tinangal agad namin battery terminal. nung pinacheck namin sa auto electrician ang apoy nag simula sa likod ng alternator

Hi guys, ask ko lang kung na experience nyo ito. Nakabili kasi ako ng 2nd hand na kotse Honda mobilio 2016 model. Na-turn off ko na un sasakyan pero naka on pa din un radiator fan. Intermittent un issue.
Ano ba dapat gawin para sabay un radiator fan sa pag turn off ng makina? Ang ginagawa ko kasi turn on ulit, then turn off minsan namamatay naman un fan. Pero nakakaparanoid na kasi every time pag off ng sasakyan baka naka turn on pa din un fan.
Baka may mairecommend kayo na mekaniko. Thanks!

if may Idea ka sa wiring, you can easily check if may custom wiring na for the fan (although masyadong bago yan para irekta yung fan). if may custom wiring, then no choice ka to either trace yung possible issue, or ipa balik mo sa original wiring

hanap ka auto-electrician shop para macheck yung oto mo since nabili mo syang second hand. malamang may binago dyan yung pinagbilhan mo. tsaka huwag sa auto-electrian FB. haha

May napansin ako sa battery nya may wiring na nakarekta so baka nga ito ung sa radiator fan. Ipacheck ko nlng sa electrician. Salamat.

Check for any socket na baka naka shorted using "paper clip method" baka yun ang fan switch mo.
Replace faulty fan switch after.
