Mga sir good pm. Gusto ko lang sana magtanung, and I don't know kung eto yung tamang thread.
Somebody is offering me a part time project based job for 2 different sites, San Juan (2-4 days) muna then Makati (3-5 days).
Scope:
- Pickup equipment from data center then checking and mounting to designated server rack
- Install switches and servers (1st site - 11 servers + 2 switches), (2nd site - 37 servers + 5 switches)
- Connect the cables between switches and ISP switch
- Connect the fibers between servers and switches
- Arrange the connected cables properly
- Connect console cable between laptop and switches
- Teamviewer / Anydesk should be running (they have engineers to do the configuration)
The client requires 2 person per site. Usually magkano ang rates sa ganitong scope? Thanks.

Malaki yung scope pero usually around 200k to 300k para sa infra implementation.
1U and 2U lang ba yung mga server? Kung 4U pataas yan lugi sa buhat hehe. Good luck sa project mo boss.

5.5k per 1U all in kasama na relocation, kabit, networking and firewall setup with 45 days aftersales tech support. Kung tumawad pa ikaw na bahala pumresyo at kung magkano pasahod mo sa mga tutulong sayo.
Syempre iba pa yung bayad sa setup ng mailserver pati yung mga system na ipapa-install nila. Usually third party din gumagawa niyan at kung kaya niyo gawin much better.

Kumuha ka ng mga taga buhat ng server yung mga nag ggym at isang may experience na magbantay ng computer shop para sa taga saksak mo sa cable at cabling. Mahirap mag config ng server kapag utak at katawan pinapagana mo hehe.

DIY LTE router for my backup internet connection -
dual SIM android phone running Android 8.1
Old TPLINK router running stable openwrt
Dual sim phone contains 2 data only SIMs at 4gb each at 5$ each. Usb tethered to the router and then the clients connects to the router. Router has adblock support (using steven black hosts file) to save on data usage too.
Tested it and i can access my tools and remote login to computers without problems.
Cheap and it works. Only 10$ per month for 8gb of data!

question regarding firewall (fortinet) and port forwarding, not sure if tama ang ini-implement ko. may isa kaming client na need ng direct access sa isang remote server, kaso ayaw lumusot sa firewall namin. setup ay ISP->firewall->switch->client pc. hindi naka bridge mode yung isp router, naka static IP lang yung firewall wan1 papuntang ISP lan1. required bang naka bridge mode yung ISP o mali lang pag-config ko sa firewall? wala na-endorse sakin regarding the firewall kaya kapa-kapa lang ako.

parang baligtad. Enter mo ung static IP ng ISP sa firewall either sa Port Wan1 or Port Wan2.

That time Im into HTML and CSS coding na ako and gusto ko pag aralan ang Dynamic website. So Asset management ung una kong naisip. Update Update lang ng tables ok na.. Simple na simple lang. Web Base pa.

halimbawa
while you are connected sa vpn
pag nag browse ka which isp is being used?
yung isp mo ba or isp ng company mo?
you can do the tracert command para madistinguish which is being used
