What is a good durable brand ng servo type AVR in the market? Omni , Akari , Panther , Sieg , CDR King?

  • Today is July 23, 2010. Am planning to buy a 1000va servo type na avr.
  • SIEG 1500w costs only 2600.
the 1000w costs 2300 i think, dito ko sa tpc nabili.
  • We\'re using Omni for our LCD TV at ayus naman ang performance.
  • i\'m using seig and i got it in raon. 1500w for 2k. so far so good naman.
  • I am using Akari, it is working fine. Not sure if it is good though.
  • bought cdr king AVR-F-1000, tumagal lang sakin ng 1 month and 26 days, e2 ayaw na gumana, for d past 2 weeks malakas fluctuation ng power samin bec of constructions going near here kaya panay trabaho niya, aun bumigay. will head now to ace hardware and will probably get omni, advise ko lang -1 sa cdr king and get the more reliable avr like omni,IMO, instead of gambling on mas mura pero more danger na masira hardwares mo. :)
dito sa tpc may mga nagbebenta, i bought sieg from one guy here from tpc.

more or less 2 yrs na din to ata. meron pa ibang brands, yung iba sobrang mahal :)
  • @Cons29

sir may lam ka nagbebenta sieg aside from tpc? thanks for the warning by the way.

  • cdrking SVC-1000 using it for almost 2 years eto buhay na buhay pa rin 1.2k ata bili ko nun..

i forgot the other brands pero madami maganda, just dont go buying the cheap ones. take note lang, it is heavy, i had mine delivered sa lrt2 station, sakit sa kamay :)

limot ko na price ng sakin
  • ang ayoko lang sa cdrking, parang swertihan yung ibang products nila eh, hindi uncommon yung after a few days sira na.
but thats just me, pag medyo mahal na i dont buy from cdrking anymore
  • @wired18 nakakatkot na kasi mag cdrking based on my experience.

@Cons29 will check sa mga pc stores dito, so far sieg panther and omni pinag pipilian ko.
  • yung ibang products ng panther na try ko na, maganda naman, di ko lang alam how much servo. for sure mahal :)
  • @Cons29

Omni is not a reliable brand, in fact it is considered as a low end electric manufacturer in its native country. It\'s sad that it is falsely considered as a good brand here in the Phils. With its low-endness I can attest to that, all Omni products I have purchased mulfunction well before its supposedly lifespan and very expensive for what it can offer. The only products from them that lasted long are those power adapters/converters.
  • stac is good. may mabibilhan pa ba neto?
  • stavol gamit ko
  • saw stac at landmark. made in japan. around P9K for 1000va.
  • @jopat

sir any suggestions for reliable avr around omni avr\'s price range?
  • @TS

Don\'t even consider buying a CDRKING brand :)

I would rather go Omni or Akari.
  • yaden, stac, stavol

yan lang REAL servo type na avr.

    ;)

    btw, im using stavol...

    binatilyo na rin sya..

    :))
  • @heidz01

I won\'t particularly go for branded names since you\'re not looking for highend model (servo type). But Panther is a good and reliable choice. In my case if I need one, I just go to Raon and look for whatever is available there. I compare the price and the amperage/wattage, the cord, and the weight, as well as if it has enough plug sockets that I need.
  • @jopat

tnx for the advise, probably will get panther malayo kasi raon, im from tarlac :)
  • I have a 1000w Omni servo type that I have been using for 5 years now and never encountered any problems. I ask a friend who happens to be familiar with these products and stated that Akari is better than omni eventhough it looks cheaper in physical aspects. Akari is a bit expensive for at most 200php against the omni from the familiar hardware you see on malls.
  • galing ako ac& hardware, meron sila binenbenta \"avacus\" brand. around P700 more from akari, according saknla parts from taiwan, and brand na \"zebra\", japan parts nmn daw mejo may kamahalan P4,400 ung di servo type nila, wala nga lang stock servo so di ko nakita how much. anyone familiar with this avrs?
